While his wounds look bad, he's not bleeding, so he sits down with back against the cool stone and waits for the others to do their business.
Ned is at 12/15 and Wounded 2. I wouldn't say "no" to getting healed to full and taking 10 minutes to remove the wounded condition but since he stays in the back mostly, it's probably not a priority if people want to move quickly.

Khaul sits for a moment.
"I be thinking we have the rats bottled up at t' moment. Takin in a breather be a wise move."
Happy to get my LoH back, and happy to use it / take further rests as required to get everyone back to full.
"Me thinking they be on alert from the noise now, and we may be just as good awaiting for them to come down, as going on up and falling into more of their traps. At least until we are good and ready."

Khaul settles in for a bit of a rest. Between praying over his hammer, and then using it to gently tap various protruding pathfinder bones into place he is more than a little busy.
He even takes out his anvil and has a go and bashing out the dent in his shield. Of course, others might not find such a beautiful sound quite so relaxing as the dwarf!
Happy to take an hour here to get everyone up to full and all our resources ready for what looks to be a final push

Using a couple of scrapers, pieces of chalk and a cloth, Aurelien moves methodically around the runes. Muttering to himself in Elven, he makes the occasional scratch and extra mark. He wets the cloth and wipes small parts of some of the runes. He appears totally 'in the zone'. You swear that a few of the marks seem to change by themselves.
After a few minutes, he looks up at Duncan, as if just registering his comment. "Oh, I didn't want this to be a problem if the devil is both real and terrifying. I prefer running without summoning my own demise. I probably should have mentioned I was doing it, though. I've disabled them all. There's definitely a mage of some sort here."

Emoubu looks around Aurelien's hip as he works.
"Might not be from Kobolds. Kobolds are very good about using stuff others leave. Emoubu is also good at removing things others leave. Does Aurelien want help removing these?"

Ned stares off into the distance, occasionally muttering quietly to himself and plucking up small insects to shove into the pocket holding his rat familiar.
So who all is hurt and how much time should we spend healing up before heading forward? So far I see we have Duncan at 13/30 hp and Ned at 12/15 hp and Wounded 2. (Definitely wishing I hadn't swapped soothe for sleep now lol). If your tagline is up to date Emoubu, that also puts you at 14/42. Anyone have the Medicine skill and a healer's kit? That might speed us up. Otherwise we might have to wait a good hour for Khaul to use LoH and then Refocus to bring you two back up to full.
EDIT: Ned has Medicine Trained, putting him at a measly +4, but I'm willing to roll some Treat Wounds checks if someone has a healer's kit for him to use.

Aurelien has a heal scroll and a first level heal available. I was going to keep them for use in a fight. He doesn't have the Medicine skill.

"Ain't you the one who tells us to be takin our time now? Let's get ourselves good and ready. Caus' I for one would prefer to have a few less holes in me a'foe we meet the next group of the little vermin. Beggin me current companies pardon." he says.
"Let us be takin a breather now. And a good watch. " he glances over his shoulder down the stairs. "And in both directions. We got food. The rain be not beatin on our heads, nor the sun scorching our bonnets. We get good and ready and then we face whatever is up there."

"I agree, we have some time. The runes won't hurt us now and we have a decent spot. I don't feel like rushing forward in these circumstances. Pharasma doesn't need to be seeing any of us soon.

"I got no problem havin' a long sit afore takin' on a wizard," Ned agrees. "I'll tend to them wounds in a minute. Lemme start over yonder."
Emoubu will have to go last since he can't receive Treat Wounds again for 50 minutes.

Since we're taking about an hour to heal up, Khaul can do six Lay on Hands, or five Lay on Hands and be Refocused and ready for battle. In fact I think five LoH uses will top off Khaul and Duncan as well as get Emoubu mostly if not completely healed.

Actually it would leave Emoubu at 30/42 hp but that's still pretty good. I think an hour should work, if Emoubu is okay not being at full hp.

He does better than he did with Emoubu, but clearly still has plenty to learn. At least he didn't make things worse this time.

I think Emoubu has four more opportunities to attempt to repair the shield, if we're trying to stick to sixty minutes. I don't believe there's a cooldown period for repairing items like there is with people, but I could be wrong.
EDIT: According to the Repair Action, there is no cooldown like with Treat Wounds, so I think you can do a total of four attempts.

Cursing some clumsiness from his recent injuries, Emoubu continues to work on the shield.

Nedri took care of the Treat Wounds and Aurelien took care of the Disable so Duncan doesn't have any other specific actions during the rest. He'll keep an eye out while everyone else works, Perception +6

The Library (Part One)
The party takes just over an hour to heal eachother's wounds, fix eachother's shields, and all-around simply rest.
Moving up the winding stairway, they then spill out into a short hallway that leads to a receiving room. Once serving as a reception area for residents of the tower, the room now lies stripped of furnishing. To the north, another staircase leads further up into the tower. To the west, an expansive magical library, with books and scrolls stored on elevated shelves reaching up forty feet high, fills the remainder of the floor. Five pairs of pillars fill the room, holding aloft three platforms at 10‑foot intervals, each laden with numerous shelves of books and scrolls!
There are strange runes on the pillars...

Khaul hunkers down behind his shield, waiting for the more keen eyed members of the group to spot any traps - magical or mundane.
"Perfect place for an ambush.." he mutters.
"Want to check out the library first, or continue on upward. I'm thinking the books will be here if we head up. But they may be trapped, which would be weakin us before we meet the core of the troubles here..."

Aurelien and Nedri quickly determine that the Arcane Runes are little more than otherwise easy-to-follow Instructions for operating levitating ladders which can safely provide access to the higher reaches of the immense library of books!
So vast is the collection here, it seems that nearly every tradition of magic, nearly every culture of Golarion, nearly every type of lore whatsoever, is now within potential reach of the party!

"I'm going to look for evidence in the library."
Seeing the embarrassment of riches before him, Aurelien will go to the library, looking through the sections for books of interest. He will look for history, specifically on Earthfall, aiudara, Soyvrian, Castrovel and the Azlanti. He will also look for evidence of the Pathfinder that came here. In his opinion, this is exactly the kind of location that they would have come to!

Ned feels something stir in the back of his mind, something warm and dark, maw slick with anticipation as he scans the massive assortment of books. He has no particular interest in them, but that... whatever it is... in the back of his head, the one that speaks to him in dreams and makes him sometimes look at people like meat... That holds these volumes in great interest, and that is all the more reason for him to ignore the books. Instead, he looks around, keeping an eye out for trouble.
Ned will switch to Scout for now, keeping a lookout for anything that wants to jump us.

Seeing that other people are on guard, Emoubu will head into the library proper and decides to see if anything he can see would be of immediate interest.
