Andrelis lashes out at the interrogator as he rises.

AoO: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 4 + 2 = 15
damage: 1d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + (1) = 6

Feeling the brutal blow land on himself, Andrelis tumbles freely away from the threat, hopeful to get back to Kasseem. Ow, that hurt!

acrobatics: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20

on mobile, can someone move me toward safety?

I'll move Andrelis but I'll wait to see how the AoOs resolve. With the -4 penalty for being prone (so think +4 to hit), the Interrogator might be down for the count and Andrelis won't need to use Acrobatics and can make a full withdrawal move.

Rolling while the GM checks the rules.

Gareleth takes advantage of the Interrogator rising to whip him again!

+1 Scorpion Whip: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 7 + 1 = 111d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Whee my turn to roll horribly!

Between the combined might of Andrelis and Yuzu, they manage to slay the Interrogator! Andrelis attempts to stumble back towards Kaseem.

The guards look hesitantly at the others. Anyone can tell their spirits have dropped. But they trudge on, just in case. They'd rather be at the Loyalty Day festivities instead.

You can spook them with a DC 10 Intimidate check to run away instead.

The red guard steps up and over the Interrogator's body before shoving his spear in Gareleth's face. But he's more or less given up and doesn't do anything at all.

Yuzu's blade sinks into the Interrogator; she pulls it out with a meaty sound, rears Satsuki back, and glares down at the remaining guards.

Pondering Gareleth's action(s)...tempted to either ready or delay. If the remaining guards want to run just go ahead and play it out.

Both guards will run away with a successful Intimidate check... Yuzu scared Blue so he'll run away on his turn.

Andrelis looks fiercely at the guards, satisfied that the guards will flee from the terrifying horse and rider, he feels slightly better from the healing Kaseem provides.

Seeing the other one less likely to flee, Andrelis points his bloody swords at the man and growls, You should go too....now...

Intimidate: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13

Andrelis (7/15)

Both the guards drop their weapons and flee! "Not paid enough for this!"

Searching the body of the investigatory, he has a potion of cure moderate wounds, two potions of cure light wounds, a scroll of remove fear (CL 4th), blue whinnis, caltrops, two tanglefoot bags, two thunderstones, a mwk chain shirt, a mwk light steel shield, a light crossbow with 10 bolts, a mwk heavy mace, a silver unholy symbol of Dispater, and 77 gp.

The three dead guards each have the following: a potion of cure light wounds, chainmail, greatsword, dagger, javelin, longspear, and 2 gp.

Shortly after defeating the Interrogator, Tamrin Credence reunites with you and escorts you to your ship out of Ostenso. Everyone (but Tamrin) boards the Queen Gale which sails swiftly east. On the way, Zefiro profusely thanks the Pathfinders. "Thank you so much. That was pure torture in there. Do you happen to know the fate of my histories? How'd you learn about my whereabouts?"

Once in Andoran, the Pathfinders reconvene with Zarta Dralneen and Venture-Captain Dennel Hamshanks for a debriefing. Tamrin rejoins the discussion partway through, having escaped Ostenso on his own under the cover of the chaos you had sowed. Tamrin recounts Ostenson's confusion, "Congratulations on a job well done!"

Zarta then turns to the Pathfinders, "Tell us, how did the mission go?"

Well, here are all the histories we were able to recover from the place where you were being held, feel free to grab what you need... The rest is valauble to us, so we'll need to keep the remainder. We have ways of knowing things about people, the elf assures Zefiro with a wink at the last.

Later on shipboard, Andrelis answers Zarta's questions, Well, firstly we rescued Zefiro and his works, while it was a chaotic mess in the city and especially in that prison. We did discover a few interesting things - such as Ianareth Alazario's has been collaborating with the Aspis Consortium, and that there's an Aspis agent in Thuvia named Kitio Aspenthi. Also that the Bell of Obedience has been sold to the Order of the Rack. All here documented... he pulls the damning papers from the stacks they recovered in the prison.

Looking about slightly nervously, he continues down the path laid before him. So the matter of House Davian, other than the undead lord we recently extracted from his ancestral lands, it seems the sole beneficiary of that house is, well, yourself... Were you aware of this? he asks the Paracountess. You could contest ownership of the Hellcoast, and potentially challenge House Thrune on your claims; if you desired. he eagerly awaits her response, seeing what she has to add to the conversation.

Sense Motive: 1d20 ⇒ 16

Kaseem will also make sure the Interrogation Reports, especially the one with information on a suspected Pathfinder agent, are given to the Venture-Captain.

Turning to Zarta, Kaseem reads aloud the letter from Vastari to Inspector Deckland. "It seems certain individuals in Cheliax feel you are working against, not with, them. You should probably avoid going back to Cheliax or meeting any agents from the government."

"As to how the mission went...it didn't go as planned. Our attempts at subterfuge did not work and we ended up in a fight inside the prison. We rescued some of the prisoners; most of them wanted nothing to do with us. I told the Bellflower agents they should leave Cheliax with us but they decided to stay and continue their work. I admire their courage and dedication but I question their wisdom. We had to run through the streets of Ostenso, creating rather spectacular diversions along the way, so to say this mission did not go unnoticed would be an understatement. Hopefully the Society's thirst for revenge against Cheliax is slaked; I wouldn't send any Agents anywhere in or even near the country for years - if not longer. Unfortunately the Cheliaxians won't forget this incident especially since multiple guards lost their lives during the mission."

The Bellflower agents did come with to Andoran, as did Zefiro and Krima. They needed a break to recover and recoup.

As Andrelis mention her supposed connection to House Davian, Zarta drops her lascivious facade for a moment. She takes the document in poignant awe before stuttering, "Thank you for bringing this information to light.". She takes a deep breath, "I acknowledge my ability to claim my ancestral legacy and lands is stymied so long House Thrune is in power. But this information is considerable. I profess, I need some time to sort out my feelings on this."

Andrelis does get a sense that Zarta is indeed shocked at the news.

The Venture-Captain Hamshanks continues as Zarta departs the room deep in though, "We've had suspicions of Ianareth Alazario. But we still believe we can launch expeditions in Cheliax, despite your best intentions to keep us away Kaseem. We are going to be inaugurating a new Chelish exploration, but plan on avoid Ostenso for the time being at least.

As a reward, the Society set aside several magical items for you. Boots of the friendly terrain, a chime of opening, or a javelin of thunderbolts (acts as a javelin of lightning but deals 8d6 damage and has a DC 17 save).

If you haven't guessed, we are done with the trilogy! Thank you so much for playing with me. Had a great time with each of you. Taking a bit of a break from GMing, I think I'm a touch burnt out. Will work on your chronicles tomorrow and report the game. Hope to see ya'll again!

I'm a little burnt out on playing, too! Yuzu's taking her money and using it to buy a comfy seat on the PC bench ;P

That said, I'll enjoy playing with y'all in the future, and sorry I started phoning it in at the end there! Rolls aside, constant poetry is a little difficult to maintain for three straight modules!

Thanks everyone, sorry it was a rough go for me there too, and with so many folks dropping midstream it was difficult to keep the energy up! But it was a great deal of fun playing with you two to the end.

GM - Thank you for your dedication! I've really enjoyed the games you run, and if you are starting anything up again keep us in mind!

Yeah, sad that we lost so many... hope everyone is alright. Have a job interview today and maybe a Halloween shindig tonight, so will work on your chronicles when I get time.

When I start GMing again, will definitely look ya'll up!

Lol! Hey this elf rogue would be well challenged to save the world! Lmao

Apparently Wrath of the Righteous just got sanctioned to play yesterday, so maybe I would consider GMing it. I'm more likely to GM some modules first though.
