Sorry. Work blew up yesterday. Nice attack roll, KS. Keskodai, that precognition won't change the initiative order this round.
The goblins fire and again the hail of shrapnel produced by their flak throwers just sails wide of the Pegasus. Keskodai notices that the shrapnel passing below the Pegasus takes a sudden sharp turn toward the moon.
Obozaya lands a solid hit through the trailing goblin's open front shields. The ship disappears in an explosive flurry of bright sparks and debris. When it emerges, it's flight path is wobbly. A plume of vapor blows out the left side of the hull, and it's sensor signal is weak. The ship is clearly on its last legs.

Iseph maneuvers to re-open the range, but before Obo can fire the ship lurches and spins on its axis against his control. You've been seized in a tractor beam!
Obo damages the goblin's forward shield on it's flyby attempt.
Showing the vivid imaginative tactics that goblins are known for, the goblin ship bears in, and Obo's next shot crushes the damaged shield and sparks damage to the hull.
The goblin ship spins away and plunges for the moon's surface where it disappears into a canyon.
Iseph has his hands full fighting the tractor beam. As the beam tries to drag him down to the surface, he manages a burst of thrust that lets the Pegasus dodge behind a ridge and breaks the beam.
I'm going to call the combat. That's half the last goblin ship's damage and he's barely sandpapered your shields. Even though the tractor finally snagged you, it can't do any damage and Iseph is a good enough pilot to escape the tractor in one to three rounds. Well done.
Still flying low, you triangulate the signal over the next few minutes and land out of sight, not far from the source, an amalgam of crudely tethered starships rising from the pocked outer crust of Salvation’s End, like a broken finger pathetically reaching towards the stars.
The entrance into this carapace of hulls—the exposed hanger bay of a doomed space transport—rests at the base of a quarter-mile of crushed starship hulls. In the low gravity of the moon's surface, it's an easy walk from your landing spot.
Caredfully approaching you see that a shattered spacecraft covers the entry area and back end of this immense hangar. The remains of the ship spread across the exposed northern bulkhead. Several sparks flash amid exposed wiring. The telltale shrieks of goblin songs ring out from the hangar’s rear, accompanied by the recognizable bangs and whirrs of a salvaging crew. A ship hull plate sits discarded near the entrance. Just below a number designation, in bold red letters, reads the ship’s call sign: Archer.
Safely on the ground. I'll let you make any preparations for surface exploration. Map coming tomorrow.
| SD DM |
You enter on the south edge of the map. This area has low gravity and thin atmosphere due to the smashed opening in the hangar door. The ceiling goes up 80 feet. Shattered pieces of the Archer cover the hangar bay’s floor. The largest intact section of the ship protrudes from (and into) the north wall of the hangar bay.
A 40-foot-high steel catwalk bisects the open expanse of the chamber and skirts the perimeter. There is a slight bump in this catwalk, where The Archer’s wreckage slid below and into the hangar’s northern wall. Treat the area of the catwalk above the ship as difficult terrain (as marked on the map).

Obozaya pauses in the airlock. "Thin atmosphere. Best seal your armor."
If you don't deploy environmental seals on your armor, you'll need to make periodic fort saves to avoid fatigue. As noted in my previous post, it's also a low gravity world. Thrown weapons have greater range, you can jump higher, and lift more bulk.
Peering into the hangar you can make out the forms of several space goblins working on the wreckage on the hangar floor. They are singing a vicious song revering the fire that currently burns here.
Three space goblins patrol the raised platform. The upper group’s goblins occasionally toss scrap metal down on their kin on the floor. A piece of scrap strikes one of the floor goblins and all the others erupt into laughter.
Thinner atmospheres tend to cause a nonacclimated creature
to have difficulty breathing and become extremely tired. A
typical thin atmosphere requires such a creature to succeed at
a Fortitude save each hour (DC = 15 +1 per previous check) or
become fatigued. The fatigue ends when the creature returns to
a normal atmosphere.
Severely thin atmospheres can cause long-term oxygen
deprivation to those affected in addition to the effects of a
standard thin atmosphere. The first time a creature in a severely
thin atmosphere fails its Fortitude save, it must succeed at a
DC 25 Fortitude save or take 1 damage to all ability scores.
A creature acclimated to high altitude (see Hill and Mountain
Terrain on page 397) gains a +4 insight bonus to its saving
throw to resist this effect.
Low-gravity worlds are liberating to most species acclimated to
standard-gravity worlds. Such characters’ muscles are far more
effective than normal. On a low-gravity world, where the gravity
is no greater than a third of standard gravity, PCs can jump three
times as high and as far and lift three times as much. (Movement
speed, however, stays the same, as moving in great bounds is
awkward and difficult to control.) Thrown weapons have their
range categories tripled.

Grease: You cover a solid surface with a layer of slippery grease. Any creature in the area when the spell is cast must succeed at a Reflex save or fall prone. A creature can walk within or through the area of grease at half normal speed with a successful DC 10 Acrobatics check. Failure means the creature can’t move that round and must then succeed at a Reflex save or fall prone, while failure by 5 or more means it falls prone (see the Acrobatics skill on page 135 for details). A creature that doesn’t move on its turn doesn’t need to attempt this check and isn’t considered flat-footed. The spell can also be used to create a greasy coating on an item. Unattended material objects are always affected by this spell. If you attempt to affect an object in a creature’s possession, the creature can attempt a Reflex save to negate the effect. If the creature fails the initial saving throw, it immediately drops the item and must attempt a new save each round it attempts to pick up, hold, or use the item. A creature wearing greased armor or clothing gains a +5 circumstance bonus to Acrobatics checks to escape a grapple and a +2 circumstance bonus to its AC against grapple combat maneuvers.

We can save a little time if you accompany NPC interactions with a diplomacy or intimidate, and/or sense motive checks. I'll just ignore the rolls if they weren't needed.

He gestures toward the mainframe. "Be careful with the glowing green god. She doesn't like it if you don't show respect. At least that's what Gut-proud said. She killed him anyway, when he tried to get her to give us miracles again."
He kicks the dead goblin.
