What you can see of the hatch is approximately 3 inches thick. Raia identifies the hatch as being constructed of pure adamantine.
Iseph rapidly scrolls the computer console’s screen through a series of blueprints, plans, and schematics that hint at a larger substructure beyond the closed hatch. This information can be downloaded to a connected datapad or other appropriate storage device. Although the system seems very secure and is certainly trapped against unauthorized access, Iseph also realizes that by routing in the mainframe from the hangar bay, it will be possible to bypass much of the security.
Android and damaya are soon at work together. After a short wait, the hatch hisses, then swings open. Through the opening you see a long dark corridor stretching into the depths of the moon.
Closer to the hatch are some melted humanoid bodies -- possible a human and a vesk. Obo steps forward for a closer look. She pulls a long curved sword out from under the vesk. It spurs her to a closer search and she comes up with a credstick, three healing serums, and a ring.

Keskodai traces the spiral on his chest upon finding the bodies near the hatch.
"O Pharasma, you who judge all who pass this mortal coil, you who weigh each soul with a glance, and with but a flick of your wrist condemn it forever to its domain beyond the door of death, to you we commend these fallen souls. May their final egress lead where they deserve. So let it be," he intones.
"I presume these were Snips and Xalak-don?" he asks Borgor and Bago once the prayer is over. "We can bring their remains with us for a proper funeral if you'd like. They may not have been the best people, Livewire told us Snips was a schemer and that Xalak-don had been suckered into her plans...but you can show yourselves the better man by showing compassion to them even after how they treated you."
You pack up Borgor-Bago, and the remains of Snips and Xalack-don and return to the Pact Worlds. It's a faster trip because the Starstone at the heart of Absalom Station is a tremendous drift beacon.
Luwazi summons you to the Lorespire Complex for debriefing. She graciously thanks you for your efforts on Salvation’s End. Luwazi heaps praise upon you for a mission well done. Unfortunately future exploration of the moon needs to wait for the moment. However future Starfinder Society missions are sure to explore the interior of Salvation’s End.
For now, you should take satisfaction that their discovery of such an immense and unexplored location is sure to get the attention of countless organizations—not to mention catapult the Starfinder Society back onto the galactic stage as an organization with sole rights to explore the false moon!
