Your conclusions are quite interesting. I'd like to hear how you come to that conclusion. And then, if you want, I'll tell you what really happened.

Menan suspects scrying as he mentions Abadar and then she messages him about Abadar. Do not tell me. Let's play in out as is.

This is the archetype that my npc used as an oracle. There is quite a list of archetypes in that area. If you are serious about the curses that might be a resource.

I find Seeker interesting; +4 untyped bonus on CL checks. Only works with good mystery spells, but then it rocks.

In that young party, my life oracle is mvp. Bless, Bane, CLW over and over. Six wolves v 4 level 1 players could not have survived without her. That was a tough encounter. Magus is lvp and was dropped by the wolves. Just made it to level 2. Twice the hit points is a big deal. I hate low level PCs but that is typically where you learn the basics of survival.

So you're standing outside in the rain probably in sight of the tea party if the windows allow waiting for the spy to come out?

Well, I assumed I'm gone already, and all the rolls are after the fact. Knowledge rolls are a free action. A quick check now showed that this wouldn't have worked for the spellcraft to ID the items as that takes 3 rounds per item.
I was also wondering, if the illusion should have failed with the glitterdust. If Mrs. Pedipalp is hiding her actions behind an illusion, I think the glitterdust should outline the real Mrs. Pedipalp and fall right through the illusionary one.
Depending on the magic she is using, she could of course make the illusion react accordingly, but that needs concentration which would leave her only with a move action.
I could be mistaken, as I have no insight whats really going on, but I'd like to know once it's over.

I gave you some leeway on the detect stuff as the tree really had no fruit. Negative on the glitterdust. The illusions are a mirror of how she appears. I looked that one up just in case.
You could have double moved out of the room. That is what is so funny to me.
And, you are in no danger as you will soon find out. Prisoner, yes. Dead, nope. We will need to see how the other players react to your absence and the unadulterated loathing. Whew.

The illusions are from the dreamgate. It is the origin of the nightmare effect and as such is strongest in that room. You will learn that if you are able to shut it down.

Dying wouldn't be the worst in this AP. You could go for:
You wake from a pointy pain in your chest. As you draw your last breath, you see Pedipalp stabbing you in the heart with a knife.
You awaken. There is no sound. You open your eyes. All is darkness and cold stone. You awaken in a dark, stone box only a few inches larger than you in each direction. The cool scent of earth surrounds you. You can feel that you are wearing your typical clothing and can also feel that your gear is with you.
Also known as the Groundhog Day Theme.

LOL. A fair assumption but...the obols that you do not know about yet, (just that something is there) will not save you a second time. You die, you meet Pharasma.

That's clear. But imagine the horror if you get a TPK and we have to start all over again. Not only awake in the stone coffin, but also all the monsters back and all the monologues of the NPCs all over.
Sorry, guys, it's 2500 more posts to get out of that.

So, Valdis really made an error. So did Tally. This should get interesting and prices may have to be paid. I do see an out or two but if past predicts future, you are $$$^$$%.

Just out of curiosity - how do you imagine that playing out, if you can actually persuade an Hell Knight Order that they come along and enter Abadon? What order and what numbers are we talking here?
And you assume, they'd take your word over that of the whole church of Abadar, that the law is not followed here?
M Dusk Elf Evoker 5| HP: 27/27 | AC: 18/14 T: 13 FF: 11 | Fort: +2 | Ref: +4 | Will: +4 | Perc: +9| Init: +13 |
We have the documentation and last will and testament not to mention a disenfranchised duke with a murdered father. I would attempt to have them blockade and starve the town for starters. It would be a ruthless endeavor. Cannot make a threat that cannot be carried out. The numbers would be decided by the faction based on what Abadon could possibly muster. The hope all along is that the negotiations prevail.

I've had it with coming up with names that are used once and then forgotten. If you have an idea, spill it. If it's to my taste I name him that.

Seriously?
You waltz into the dude's office on Fireday. Guess how many people he had to ask to know where you live? I'll tell you: One. He calls for a meeting with the triumvirate and tells: Menan Variel showed up with the last will of Fallon Duke of Seacrest. Looks like we finally have to pay back the money. Does anyone know who this Variel guy is?
And the mayor replied: That's that elf dude, who was at the party of Lady Eleanor last week, isn't it? He's a guest of Lady Adelaide right now, as far as I remember.
And you're not exactly the pinnacle of secret keeping. After yesterdays tea party, you'd have a hard time finding anyone in the interested circles who doesn't know at least the main points of what is going on. Plus the exaggerations that come from gossiping.

I totally fleshed out Falcon's Hollow on my first gm. The players did not get a chance to learn most of it, but it made it fun for me. One npc was a rogue that working directly under the big man in town. One of the PCs treated him with disrespect as if he was just a messenger. The NPC laughed all the way to the bank. Boss gives rogue 6k gp to reward the party for success. Rogue offers 4, they take it. Rogue pockets the 2k gp while drinking the most expensive whiskey that can be got in the region. The PCs never knew. So many hints he was far more than they suspected but no takes.

Saw an interesting build this evening. Fighter/Rogue. That one never crossed my mind before this.
They open the door and he has 8 advanced guards in the room with him. The life oracle casts black tentacles which all but wipes out the guards in two rounds. The archer is level 11 and has multiple shots at the fighter/rogue but his AC is 27+4 in total defense.. Oracle dismisses the tentacles. An 11th level monk gets in the guy's face and he goes down pretty quick. The oracle cast smite evil which applied to all and the magus did another 20 foot radius something.
I did not like this party at all until they hit level 11. The fighter/rogue never got a swing but I am still interested in that build. Could be effective.
