Can someone remind me how scrolls work? To be honest, don't think I've ever actually used a scroll before.

You need to either use read magic or spellcraft to decipher the scroll (DC20+spell lvl). If you have the spell on your list, be the right type (arcane/divine version) and have the ability score required you can cast it automatically.

Stiggur, mage armor is on the psychic spell list, so our psychic investigator should have no issue casting it from a scroll.
I'll take the thrown weapon stuff, sure. Holy water sounds like it'd be useful.

That's basically what I said; if it's on both spell lists, then it's fine.

You have read magic memorised so you can cast that, no need for the spellcraft check.
You don't have to do this when you cast the spell. You just do it the first time you look over the scroll.

yeah, I thought grappled creatures couldn't aoo, and flat-footed creatures can't but grappled doesn't = flat-footed. The minotaur can't use the greataxe because its two handed but if she's got a natural attack, she can at a -2 penalty

@Stiggur - I haven't run it where the party heads after the minotaur to start, but have heard others tell the tales. The first time I played, my instinct was to fight, too. However, I was outvoted and decided not to split the party.
