Ava's performance did the trick. The guard looked over at the kazoo-playing gnome and smirked a bit before handing the sheaf of papers back. "Sure, sure. Everything looks good. Carry on."
As you walked past the guards you could feel the dock tremble a bit at the steps of Seddothrum. Uneasily you surreptitiously look around to see if anyone notices. One of the children seems to be staring at the dock as if looking for the giant's footsteps.
ONE person can attempt a Deception check to Create a Diversion to keep the guards from noticing the giant's footsteps. Or you could be more overt and skip and jump, bump into the guards, whatever you think will do the job. You cannot use Performance again
Thellira Daybreaker

Thellira's hand lowers so her hammer begins to drag on the ground. She turns to comment on Ava's kazoo playing skills when she all of a sudden trips over her weapon, falling to the ground but shoving Ava into Dahros in the process. Her knees slam into the wood of the dock and she cries out in pain.
Athletics Shove Ava: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
Athletics Trip self: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
I was hoping for two crit fails or fail/success. Oh well

Thellira's antics might have been a bot heavy handed, but it was enough to explain any untoward vibrations on the dock itself. What it did not explain was the way the Merry Mayfly dipped slightly towards the docks as the stone giant clambered aboard, or the surprised looks on the crews' faces. Fortunately, by that point, Nali had come up with a distraction of her own, waving her 15-foot long noodly arms in the air and chanting loudly. Everyone on the docks was looking at her, giving the crew of the Mayfly a chance to collect themselves.
Finally, everyone was safely on board and either in their cabins or in their assigned places in the hold. Other than the giant, of course. Seddothrum was tucked away on a portion of the top deck, trying to stay out of the way of the sailors. Apparently, he and Argent Sathings, the captain of the ship, had come to an agreement shortly after the giant crept on board.
The trip to Magnimar was uneventful, and there you met with Sheila Heidmarch and Valais Durant to discuss your successful mission. The refugees were all very grateful for your aid, especially Seddothrum, who was eager to see the world outside of the Runelords' influence. Those that left on the Rolanna's Prayer were also there to give you their gratitude, and eager to tell you of their more harrowing story. Apparently, the Prayer was spotted by a pair of corvettes and nearly run down before the ship mage was able to obscure them in some kind of dense fog.
In all, it was a successful, if harrowing mission, and a hundred things could have gone bad. But, in the end, you managed to sneak nearly a dozen people out of the clutches of the Runelords and made a tidy profit in both coin and goodwill for the Pathfinder Society.
