"It reeks of something, that's for sure."

Vyecmuraf tries to be discreet when asking around about a rogue drow noble, but they stick out like a sore thumb as they tower over everyone else in this gloom-enshrouded place. When a possible informant breaks for it, the kasatha tries to use all four arms to pull themselves through a back alleyway and intercept the scoundrel (though their broad shoulders prove a bit problematic in the narrow corridor). And when the Starfinders finally talk to the reluctant informant, Vyecmuraf's patience has worn thin and the best they can do is berate the hapless drow for the lack of reputable art galleries in Nightarch while demanding information on the rogue noble.

Off to a good start, the street team head out into the dark streets of Apostae. Under the well trained nose of DICEBOT, the group is able to quickly track down one of the undercover hyperleaf dens, disguised as a garlic farm. The workers quickly give you the slip, but you are able to chase down one of the culprits. Catching him, the drow vulgrant stinks of garlic, but you are able to get the information you want out of him.

Street team results! You spend five (5) hours seeking leads on the informants, a further five and a half (5.5) hours finding them amongst the denizens before finally spending five (5) hours shaking them down for the information.

Need the rolls from the hacker team please.

While some of their party does all the leg work, Hellik and Modern Body find some computers inside the drow facility. They kick their legs back, and get to work searching Apostae's infosphere for any information they can get their hands on. Using specific key words like 'weapons' and 'shipment', they scour the dark web for any potential exchanges happening soon. Many jugs of extremely bitter and tart burned coffee later, and the crew is able to come out with a some clues on a potential location where the drop might be happening.

Hacker team results! You spend five (5) hours tapping away at their keyboards a further five and a half (5.5) hours guessing and brute forcing passwords and then another five (5) hours sifting through the data.

---------------------

After a long day of work, you meet back at the Zeizerer building, and you start thinking of how to approach your destination.

The warehouse has been located after fifteen and a half (15.5) hours. You still have eight and a half hours (8.5) left of your diplomatic immunity. You can head straight there or spend time gathering further information on aspects of the warehouse, as a group. Each of these will take three (3) hours and requires no skill check. You can find out about the following, Access Codes, Floor Plan, Guard Posts, Troop Composition or Security Network.

After a bit of time on the streets, Ceolor plops down in their meeting area with a happy look on his face. "I met soooooo many people! Apparently I look similar enough to a certain famous reporter here that I could ask for an interview and they'd tell me almost anything, if I promised to keep it anonymous! I got so much material for a new novel!"

He looks at the data banks they have for the location and then frowns slightly. "I agree with the access codes, but I'd be worried about how many people might be there. Hate to walk into twenty security guards... but then the security network would also be a worry."

Oh wow haha, with those rolls, it would change the outcome slightly. So, street team would have been at least 3 hours quicker, which would give you an extra time to learn more things about the warehouse! Great rolls Ceolor!

The Concordance

Society - Night in Nightarch

Haha, alright then! 1d2 ⇒ 2 - floor plan it is!

Access Codes - You manage to uncover a set of access codes to Villyth’s warehouse. They can use override codes to open any door in the upper floor. sing an override code is a full action that requires a datapad, personal comms unit, or another suitable wireless device. The override code works even if the building is in a full lockdown mode.

Security Network - You find out that the building’s mainframe and access terminal are in a large room in the northwest part of the upper floor. The system is isolated from Nightarch’s infosphere, so hacking it remotely is not possible. You receive a +4 circumstance bonus to Computers checks to hack any computer in the upper level as a result of learning this information.

Floor Plan - You learn the layout of the upper floor, added to slides and you know that there is a lower floor 100 feet underground, but its floor plan was never uploaded to the infosphere. You can ask general info about the layout, rooms etc to help you plan your expidition.

I have revealed the map of the warehouse to you all. Please add your information onto the second slide, and your tokens as well. Please plan how you would like to approach the site.

”Here - if we avoid the main entrance, we might also avoid some of her security,” Vyecmuraf suggests, pointing a long finger at the holographic map projected on the wall. ”These look like offices - cut through this one to this central hub, then out the other side. Ceolor nods at the suggestion of avoiding the main entrance. "We should probably avoid going in from the front. We have diplomatic immunity but still making less waves would be a great idea. Personally I think the most important info is likely on that underground lower level, but we might need to hit up the mainframe to get the elevator working for us. Either way we should probably avoid getting into too much trouble."

Personally I say we try the elevators first, and see what is down below, but I can understand if we need to hit the mainframe first. Roll me stealth checks if you wish.

The whole warehouse is encircles by a 10-foot-high chain-link fence. Beyond that a 20 foot clear area sits between the fence and the warehouse itself. A 10-foot-wide gate in the fence is aligned with the double door that you chose to approach from and it stands open.

Moving up to the door you see a sign on the double doors in blocky, industrial letters. Freight only! Customer Entrance to the Left!

You have no trouble opening the doors to the freight entrance. Ahead of you stands a large freight elevator. The light in here is dim, but not pitch black. You look at the freight elevator. It does not seem to have an access panel, instead a rather old school card reader. You do not think that it is hackable.

Hrmm, maybe a good idea to spend some credits and get some infared sensors or an augmentation. Ooooh, or some darksight googles! But for now, Ceolor is kinda gimped.

Ceolor gives a small curse as he takes one hand off his deceptively light 'rifle' and pulls out his baton instead. He then wreathes both his rifle and baton in flames, ready for anyone to get close enough to see and strike.
Move to draw his baton and then another to activate plasma sheathe.

”Oh for crying out...” Vyecmuraf’s voice cuts out abruptly on the team’s comms as the tall kasatha moves around the elevator with something held loosely in one hand. ”Duck.” The order is cold and flat.

Attack vs AC 5: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

The grenade lands, and smoke begins to billow outward in a choking haze.

Move and throw a smoke grenade (20 ft radius, epicenter marked with “X”). Any creature inside the smoke that does not currently have environmental protections enabled needs to make a DC 15 Fortitude save or be unable to act due to coughing and choking.

So Ceolor will try to find a piñata while swinging his baton :D Can't wait to see that.

Overload baby! lvl 4 Mechanic ability. At least we burned one 20 ;)

"Crap! This one is slippery!" When the darkness hits Hellih eyes turns naturally to darkvision mode. He reaches for his rifle and takes aim at the drow

"You will not sneak away with darkness from me, wretched one!"

Attack vs EAC@red: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
Damage, laser: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

He turns his head and looks at Ceolor

"Come on Ceolor! Don't just stand there!"

Modern Body uses Token Spell to illuminate Ceolor’s armor, generating dim light in a 30-foot radius.

As his move action he unsheathes his junksword.

DICEBOT lights up his flamethrower as Vyecmuraf adds smoke to the murky darness. He holds his 'fire' until an opponent comes into range.

Don't blow up, Ceolor, we like you in one piece

Readied attack:

Your DICEBOT comes equipped with special heat-sensitive sensors that allow easy determination of cooking temperatures, as well as the detection of rodents in confined spaces

The Concordance

Society - Night in Nightarch

@Modern Body, your cantrip spell would not be enough to overcome this magical darkness, you would need something more powerful.

Vyecmuraf throws a grenade, and Hellih targets one of the thugs and hits! Modern Body tries to muster up some light, but it is not enough to break through the darkness.
Fort Save, bl, gr: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 211d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19

DICEBOT is also inside the area of the smoke bomb, as the android starts to take in some smoke.
@DICEBOT please roll me a DC 15 fort save, for the smoke bomb. Red is the area of the smoke bomb.

The drow quickly turn on their environmental protection, and fire their weapons.

Ceolor gives a small hum of concernation and then shouts over at Hellih. "HEY, HELLIH, CAN YOU SEE IN THIS? MIND SHOWING ME WHERE TO UH SWING?"
Delay to see if Hellih wants a human meat shield.

Hellih grunts after begin hit twice, he raises his rifle and spots Ceolor still standing in the darkness. His armor is shining with bright light, how can't he see anything? wonder Hellih and begin to make his way towards Ceolor
3 squares bot and 2 back top

He grabs Ceolor saying

"It is me, I will take you towards the enemy... two steps straight, on the left there is a wall... I told you that so that you don't bash into it. One step right, prepare the baton, the drow will be in front of you in 3... 2... 1. No, bash, bash!" yells Hellih

Then he tries to find a way to shot through Ceolor

@GM I think Dicebot is not impacted by smoke bomb, androids do not breath, so he can't inhale the gas.

Vyecmuraf was also aiming to keep Dicebot out of the grenade’s radius, which it looked like was possible by aiming at the grid intersection next to the wall..

Also, @GM, do these folks have a means of ignoring the Concealment from the smoke cloud they’re currently inside?

The kasatha quickly flips a pistol into their hand and sends a blast of laser fire back into the smoke cloud before retreating around the corner.

Laser Pistol: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23

Fire damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Swift action to draw pistol with Quick Draw, attacking the square they were attacked from, then moving.

Is this how Kasathan's cook? Don't let the oil waft that much!

Just to save the DC some adjudicating:
dc 15 fort: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23

DICEBOT has seen worse smoke in his own kitchen, and remains unfazed. And where is smoke, there is fire, so DICEBOT unleashes the full blast of his flamethrower.

Flamethrower blast: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 201d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 Against green, if possible also blue
