Handle animal: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17
Meanwhile he directs Panza to move up as well, in pareparation.
I am unclear where the bashing noises are coming from? Can you move the dinos nto position. Are they able to ready to attack anything that comes out? If not they will just move into position.

Puurrupup takes the opportunity to channel some additional power from the fiend he keeps. He growls and grunts in pain for a few seconds before sprouting a pair of demonic looking wings. He takes a stumbling step toward the action while he remembers how to use them.

Assuming you are going to let the ogres leave...
The group readies for the assault and the dinosaurs lumber forward to form the front ranks. No sooner does Puurrupup begin his communion, the entire shelf of rock explodes outward raining debris on the dinosaurs and reveals a huge, writhing creature beyond. Another smaller one flanks it. They have a giant's frame but retain only a gaping maw where the head should be. Their insides are somehow exposed and their arms are covered in tiny bluish runes. If anything, it looks like they have been turned inside out.
Xilt's glitterdust goes off and coats both monstrosities with a layer of dust. Almost immediately, the runes on their bodies flash with tremendous energy, enough to blind a mortal man but not quite far enough to hamper the dinosaurs.
The larger beast steps into the rubble then forcefully lashes out at the foe in its way. It rips through the summoned dinosaur with the pent up rage of a thousand years, then tilts its slobbering mouth toward Panza. Given its lethality, it appears that blindness has little to no effect.
Also, can I get a DC 21 will save vs fear (from Almaas and the remaining dinosaurs) or be panicked for several rounds.

Intensified Metamagic Rod, adds 5 levels to caster level for dice. Only 3x per day though, so use it sparingly
Sadly no. It increases the maximum damage cap by 5 levels, you still need to actually have that caster level to benefit from it.
Xilt Sphinx
|
10d6 is still good. The rod works amazingly well with Shocking Grasp or Snowball at this level so it is not a complete loss. A 10d4 Burning Hands is also pretty nice for a 1st level slot.
Endrin of Manar
|
Ok I did not from that part of it. So basically it allows the spell to level with you as opposed to capping. Thank you all, educated I am now

@Miguel, both the dinosaurs would be panicked for a large number of rounds. The ankylosaur missed both saves and Panza failed the larger creature's. Also, what are the hit points for the summoned creatures. I assumed standard hp, so the first ankylosaur may not actually be downed (in which case it needs the two saves as well).
| Panza the TRex |
Panza and the dinosaurs flee into the hills. Miguel sighs, Panza! he calls, his words fading away. He shakes his head, Poor cowardly Panza! We will have words about this Panza! he shouts after his rapdily disappearing form.
Turning back to the enemies Miguel raises his hand and engulfs both of them in flames.

The battlefield empties considerably as the trio of dinosaurs retreat, even as Puurrupup stirs his allies. As they do, a burst of flame engulfs the enemies, who emerge intact as they have some natural resistance to it. Almaas appears and launches a quartet of potent arrows upon the largest beast. Endrin skirts along the boulders and forces the lightning bolt into the chest cavity of the larger one, who reels but again possesses some resistance to that element as well. Xilt forces the lesser guardian to freefall. With each spell cast, the runes flash across the guardians' bodies like a strobe.
The greater guardian races out to the focused dwarf and tears into him, lifting him above the battlefield in its terrifying maw.

Once the group has regathered and healed, the cave can be entered. The main portion that was broken through by the guardian's is mostly bare, save for some scattered bones that have been licked clean.
A side tunnel, however, leads from the rear of the cavern and the next chamber is nearby. The mutilated corpses of several ogres are scattered about the chamber haphazardly.
