Spellcraft: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19 Trying to discern what the name of the spell Prisssterica is trying (and failing) to cast

Sorogar Twintusk |

Sorogar's eyes widen in shock as Krokkin is gruesomely wounded right next to her, and in only a matter of seconds at that!
Rage wells up in her body, a desire to main and kill this creature, to drink and feast on the blood of the betrayer, and is it only at the last second that she instead reaches out to Krokkin and heals him instead!
Lifelink, 5 damage from Krokkin to Sorogar. Incredible healer use #1.
Incredible Healer: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (10) + 23 = 33
Beats DC 30, so adds wisdom modifyer and knowledge: planes ranks to healing. Krokkin is healed for 42+5, Sorogar for 42.
"Are you all right!?" she cries to him as the wave of positive energy fades. "Don't scare me like that! You're a better warrior than him!"

Ohimè S’adel |

"You see, we are a team! That's why we win," she directs at mostly Prisssterica and Waggin. "I've got to disable their powerhouse after I deal with her!"
She casts another spell as her bird continues to sing. This time, hopefully, it takes out that backstabbing murdereress.
Standard action: Casting Ear-Piercing Scream at Prisssterica again. (DC 14 vs Daze)
Damage: 3d8 ⇒ (4, 8, 8) = 20
Move: 5ft move

Krokkin |

Enough of this! Krokkin roars as he reaches his arms back drawing out the Halberd. Red encroaches on his vision as the draws out the Halberd attacking in a downward arc, then spinning in a circle to strike again the blade singing thru the air.
Krokkin stumbles backward almost into Sorogar as he misses the second attack, the loss of blood and pain from the rending hitting him full force due to the movement of his attack.
He barely notices Sorogars hand touch him but the burst of energy and healing nearly causes him to be swept away in the river of rage. His vision clears as the wave passes thru him. and Sorogars comments seem to come from afar as she starts speaking but growing in volume until at the end she is her normal volume.
I am good, gotta remember to keep my hands up. He smiles while still facing Prissiterica. No more games, you need to die NOW!
Attack1: 1d20 + 11 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 11 + 2 = 15
damage1: 1d10 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 5 + 2 = 16
Attack2: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 6 + 2 = 11
damage2: 1d10 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 5 + 2 = 10

Brek of Unknown House |

Brek considers his next move....
and steps back, his lips muttering an incarnation as he moves his fingers in pattern undiscernable...
Ready action to cast scorching ray at Trysisus if he tries a spell.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 214d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 1, 1) = 13 another screaming hawk aimed at him if he does.

Herkymr the Silly |

Prisssterica screams and grabs her ears as the spell Ohime cast hits her. In her distraction, Krokkin attacks and severs her head from her body.
1d20 - 3 ⇒ (12) - 3 = 91d8 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 71d6 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 101d6 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
1d6 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18
Hrine attacks in the moment of glory, throwing a club into Ohime from his purchase on the upper echelons of the cave. The club thunks satisfying ly into her causing decent damage. ohime 7 dmge
Trisyus lunges toward Sorogar calling for the power of his god in the attack. Brek's flame is there to meet him. The flare of the fire in his face is enough to make him miss his attacks. And drawing an attack from the now thoroughly enraged Krokkin. AoO

Ohimè S’adel |

Knowledge (Nature): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12 She isn't sure if Hrine would be immune to poison. If he is, naturally for his race, she will attack with something else.
Betrayal is one of the hardest things Ohime has had to deal with in her life. It has never felt good, so even though she is "pleased" Prisssterica gets her comeuppance, she is still shaking in anger, frustration, and worry. This leads Hrine's well-placed club to bash up against her forehead.
Blood trickles down from the head wound and she is sent reeling. All she can see are stars for a moment. "Focus! Focus! You will die if you do not!" is a mantra she repeats in her mind until her sight returns to normal. This was not the first hard hit she'd sustained. Years of adventuring and combat now flood back into her mind. If her eyes were not so pearly white, Hrine would see them go red like Krokkin. He will see her intent focus, much like a serpent about to strike.
"You are small, let's see how you handle my poison. May you die shriveled and unable to move!"
"Ow, that really hurt! I'm going to have a lump there, you idiot. Who throws a club, honestly!?
With that, she licks a bolt of hers, loads it, and lets it loose from her crossbow at Hrine.
Swift Action: Licking the bolt with poison (nastier from increased Con)
Move: Load Crossbow
Ranged Attack: 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 9 + 2 = 18
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 (Poison Fort DC18)
1d2 ⇒ 2
If he fails, -1 ranged attacks, -1 AC/Touch AC, -1 Ref, -1 dex-based skills
Ohime's health is at 43, fyi. With Bear's Endurance buffing her hitpoints -12, it would be, conveniently, her normal hp now. I mention this because it looks like I'm not moving my HP bar on my status effects, but this is where it's at.

Sorogar Twintusk |

Oh, right, I forgot we presumably ate at the table beforehand. Fortunately it wasn't poisoned!
"One down. We've got this! Just stay calm and time your attacks well!" Sorogar shouts, drawing from her own lifeforce and theb focussing a small amount of it towards Ohime.
Since Ohime is injured, even if just below increased max hp, Sorogar draws 5 hp of damage to herself.
"Trissus! You DARE stand in between Krokkin and me? That will be your last mistake, traitor!"
And, indeed, flanking with Krokkin, Sorogar attacks him with her blade!
attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15
damage: 2d4 + 5 ⇒ (1, 4) + 5 = 10

Krokkin |

Taking the Opportunity to Attack, hehe

damage1: 1d10 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 7 + 2 = 10

Krokkin |

Krokkin barely has time to savor the kill as Trissus lands near him with flame surrounding his head. Without thinking Krokkin lashes out catching the Troll with the Halberd.
Time for you to fall, my friend, Krokkin growls and moves in slashing at the troll with two swift blows.
Attack1: 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 12 + 2 = 26
damage1: 1d10 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 7 + 2 = 15
Attack2: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 7 + 2 = 15
damage2: 1d10 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 7 + 2 = 14

Herkymr the Silly |

Ohime's bolt nails the morlock causing her to grunt in pain. She manages to maintain her grip on the wall however.
Triysus still enraged feels Krokkin's hits but bats away the last one with a gauntleted hand.Little kitty, first I shall kill your friend then I shall kill you. he threatens.
Sorogar may take an AoO as Triysus attempts to cast a spell.

Brek of Unknown House |

"Hey Trysius!" Brek calls as he watches the familiar motion of spellcasting.
Scorching ray, ranged touch 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 5 + 2 = 224d6 + 2 ⇒ (3, 4, 2, 4) + 2 = 15
A swift glance tells him what the troll is attempting but his words were meant to get his attention!
Another flaming hawk with talons outstretched rams into his face once more!
"Isn't it fun for you now?" he mocks looking to divert the attention to him instead and relief pressure off Krokkin.

Sorogar Twintusk |

Sorogar strikes, not wasting the dropped guard!
Attack, AoO: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28

Whatever that spell might have been...

Ohimè S’adel |

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
"Great shooting, Brek! Kick his butt, Sorogar! Don't take your eyes off of him, Krokkin! I'll handle this little club-throwing piggy on the wall!"
She once again licks another bolt. In her sight, Ohime can tell Hrine already struggles. Why not a little more? Soon she won't be able to move at all.
She fires and then crouches (+2 AC vs ranged)
Ranged Attack: 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 9 + 2 = 30 +poison

Krokkin |

Krokkin Roars at Triysus in response still not registering any other attacks as he is focused on bringing the biggest threat he sees down.
He slashes and stabs at the troll feeling the rage roll out from his muscles with each strike. He slashes across the lower back but stumbles a little out of position and misses on the stab.
Attack1: 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 12 + 2 = 19
damage1: 1d10 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 6 + 2 = 10

damage2: 1d10 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 6 + 2 = 17

Sorogar Twintusk |

Meanwhile, Sorogar conveniently continues cutting the troll across the back!
attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23
damage: 2d4 + 5 ⇒ (2, 4) + 5 = 11

Herkymr the Silly |

Triysus roars as the spell takes effect. His wounds seem to seal around the edges a little. The majority of the damage remains leaving him looking pretty ragged.
Hrine remains clinging to the wall, moving a bit and then drawing another club. It is obvious that the poison is starting to have effect.
ROUND 5
Waggin attacks krokkin again but misses and loses hold of his weapon in the gore that covers him.

Krokkin |

throwing my next round out there. I had my second vaccine shot today and not sure how I will be doing this weekend yet.
Krokkin's rage continues to give him a laser-like focus as he continues attacking Triysus. He stabs first for the thigh and then for the calf trying to hobble Triysus. His first strike lands true but in his haste to pull the spear and stab again his aim is just off and he misses the calf.
Attack1: 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 12 + 2 = 33

Ohimè S’adel |

Round 5
The sneak had produced another club from somewhere stashed up there.
"Where are you even pulling those from!?"
This time, she is ready. She pulls up her crossbow and lets off another shot into the foe. Meanwhile, her bird continues its song, encouraging all those who are fighting on behalf of the true tribes and not these villains to fight better.
Move Action: Reload

Brek of Unknown House |

Round 5
"One more for the road?" Brek calls out as he too completes his own spell.
Acid splash, ranged touch. GO down? 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 4 + 2 = 131d3 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
A Humming bird dives towards the troll to explode into a little acidic concoction.

Herkymr the Silly |

Hrine, seeing Triysuss in trouble drops from her overhanging position and channel's an aura of negative energy.
1: 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 9 + 2 = 13dmg: 1d8 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18
The troll now hurt and mad both, attempts to drop Sorogar, His initial punch with his gauntlet hits but the backswing misses. The blow leaves Sorogar's head slightly spinning from were it made contact.Sorogar's damage was 15pnts.
ROUND 6
Waggin still frustrated, attacks Krokkin from behind once again. This time his attack hits true stabbing just above the kidney and splitting armor and skin both. Krokkin's damage 5dmge

Brek of Unknown House |

Round 6
Will save vs DC 10 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Scorching Ray 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 224d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 5, 4) = 18
A Flaming Hawk with talons outstretched rams into Triysus once more as Brek prepares to unleash his bigger spells onto the battle.
"Chicken with egg to be next!" he calls out to let the others know his intention!

Sorogar Twintusk |

Sorogar takes the damage from Krokkin and brek , again siphoning their wounds to herself 5+2 damage to Sorogar, Krokkin and Brek healed for 5/2.
willwave: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 12
Of course, natural one. I don't think anyone else is injured but could redirect 5 from Ohime and 3 more from brek to myself prior to healing myself if anyone has damage.
Sorogar grits her teeth at the blow but stays in position, deciding to heal herself with positive energy.
incredible healer: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (4) + 23 = 27
Sorogar heals for 30, bring her to 67/67 with bear's endurance.
"There's no point, traitor. I can do this all day. You however, are about to die," Sorogar snarls, just as a firehawk crashes into Trisius again...

Ohimè S’adel |

"Which one was the chicken and egg?"
She thinks it is the large fireball type spell that heals all of them and harms their foes. She could use some healing from the throwing of the club, but as far as she could tell, she is in range of the blast if focused on the right area.
"Your magic is so uniquely wonderful, Brek!"
Like a perfectionist, she then pulls back on her crossbow, loading it, takes aim. With the precision of a surgeon, she fires at Hrine, despite her being in combat.
Move: Reload
Swift: Poison Bolt
Ranged Attack: 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 9 + 2 = 21
Damage: 1d8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 2 + 1 = 4
Poison DC now 24!
Dex Damage: 1d2 ⇒ 1 She must be starting to look like Ace Ventura in the second movie

Krokkin |

Time to cut you down, Krokkin Roars coming in for another attack. In the raging river he still does not take heed of the other attack, nor the siphoning away of the damage that Sorogar provides. Again his first attack finds purchase in the troll's flesh but the second just misses.
Attack1: 1d20 + 11 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 11 + 2 = 30
damage1: 1d10 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 5 + 2 = 10
Attack2: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 6 + 2 = 13
damage2: 1d10 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 5 + 2 = 10

Herkymr the Silly |

Triysuss stumbles under Krokkin's attack but doesn't go down. He attempts to grab a potion and drink it though drawing attacks from sorogar and krokkin.
If they want to take them
I won't roll saves for hrine due to the amount of dex dmge she's already taken..ie can't make the save. You may roll for dex dmge each round until she dies.
Hrine also grab a potion from one of her pouches. Drawing possible attacks from sorogar and krokkin
if they want one and haven't taken one this round.

Ohimè S’adel |

Round 7
Ohime can see the lethargic look all to familiar in Hrine. For some reason, her lips water at the sight, as though instinctively she would prepare to feast if it were any other animal. She binds her lips to stop the feeling by pressing them close together. Now, she takes aim at Waggin, that other sly villain who keeps trying to harm Krokkin!
"I haven't forgotten about you, you sneak thief! Your end will be like Prissstericas!"
Move: Reload
Free: Aim at Waggin
Ranged Attack: 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 9 + 2 = 19
Damage: 1d8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 2 + 1 = 10 (+Poison DC16)
Waggin Dex Damage (if fort save fails): 1d2 ⇒ 2
Hrine's Continued Poison: 1d2 ⇒ 2

Brek of Unknown House |

Round 7
Brek hurls a fat chicken up in the air!
Like an imperial majesty it surveys everyone in its domain and passes Judgment!
"CLUCK!!!!"
It signals it's displeasure and puff itself up to three times its size before exhaling and an egg is pushed off downwards where all of them would be caught in it's fiery backwash!
To make it simple, Brek would damage only Trysius, Waggin, Prissstericas and maybe Hrine if if in range. Heal everybody else.
Partially because I can't see the Mother and I don't want to accidently kill her. :P
Reflex DC 16 for half damage 6d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 1, 3, 1, 1) = 17
Heals for 8.

Krokkin |

[ooc]I will take the AoO on Triysus, as Krokkin is focused solely on him[/b].
Krokkin instinctively lashes out as Triysus stumbles catching him in the thigh.
Attack1: 1d20 + 11 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 11 + 2 = 27
damage1: 1d10 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 5 + 2 = 11

Sorogar Twintusk |

"Oh no you don't!" Sorogar says, attempting to destroy the vial just as he draws it.
AoO, Sunder the bottle with her AoO. Which provokes. So... he can take a counter AoO on me if he can wield his weapon in one hand or bite/punch/kick, since his other hodls the bottle.
Sunder, vs the bottle's ac and hp: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27
damage: 2d4 + 5 ⇒ (2, 3) + 5 = 10
Edit: Oh. He could also just die, of course...
Round 7
Seeing as Trisius died before he could drink and all other targets down, she sees Waginn trying to escape. "After him! Brujah, you too!" she yells, starting to run.
perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14
Unfortunately, somehow, Sorogar loses track of him in the chaos.
Brujah, however, flying above the fight and having ultrasound detection, also does his best to keep following!
I don't know how to do Brujah here. His ultrasound is described that he autopmatically detects targets without perception checks within 20 feet of him. So unless Waginn is fast enough to outrun Brujah's movement in this middle of this melee, we know where he is.

Herkymr the Silly |

Thanks Ohime for catching that I missed you hit waggin this round. He failed save so is poisoned. I misread and thought that you had reshot at hrine.
Also Waggin would have ran right past sorogar and brek when trying to escape. I did not realize this when I posted he ran. That means Brek atleast will get an AoA
Again thanks OHime. I am very busy but am trying to stay on top of everything still. So everyone help keep me foused please.

Ohimè S’adel |

Not a problem, I can understand. Also, I'll wait for Brek to post his AoO before I post.

Krokkin |

perception check to see Waggin: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14
Krokkin relishes the fact that triysus falls. He leans back roaring in Triumph with his arms out. He continues to roar as he turns a complete circle to see who his next challenger will be. in this display of prowess he completely misses waggin leaving. He also doesn't realize that Waggin was near him at any point in the battle either.
Two foes down, who else wants to be my prey! Krokkin roars out in challenge.
perception check for who he can attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14
Intimidation Check: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

Brek of Unknown House |

Round 7
lol Brek AOO. lol lol lol
AOO lol 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 161d4 ⇒ 4
Perception to follow him. 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
Brek stabs out wildly as Waggin runs past him.

Ohimè S’adel |

Round 8
Perception: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (1) + 16 = 17
Ohime naturally sees Waggin. Her piercing serpentine eyes are used to tracking prey. Without hesitation, she can see what he is trying to do, and in response, lights the "Beacon of Waggin".
Casting Glitterdust. Will Save DC 14 or be blinded. Either way, he is getting a -40 to hide...basically he has a spotlight of fantastic glitter keeping him from disappearing!
An explosion of glittery magic fills the small area in which Waggin is trying to sneak through. His attempts are foiled, however, and with any luck, he will be blinded and just crash into a wall and knock himself out.
Poison Hrine (Auto fail): 1d2 ⇒ 2 4 rounds left
Poison Waggin (Fort DC16): 1d2 ⇒ 1 5 rounds left

Sorogar Twintusk |

Sorogar looks around to confirm all three other targets are down. Then she calls out to the friendly lizardfolk surrounding them!
"All of you, Children of the Great Mother! You just saw Waginn and his allies stab Mother Crissstalai! Are you really just going to stand there while he runs away!?"
diplomacy?, if required: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15
She hopes to involve the friendly lizardfolk in this 'chase' if he manages to get further away.

Herkymr the Silly |

Waggin stumbles and falls headlong to the floor. It is obvious that he is unsteady from the poison and now blinded by the glitterdust. Before he can recover, Mother appears and quickly reaches down and slices his throat cleanly.
That is the death that waits all traitors and betrayers. It should not have been given with such dignity or cleanliness but given it was. She calls in a loud voice. Magic must enhance her voice because it can be heard over the receding din of battle. Slowly those that allied with Prissterica surrender or are killed in their struggle. The majority are killed because of an unwillingness or fear of giving in to the justice of their tribesmen.

Herkymr the Silly |

Mother Pria approaches each of the fallen in turn and slits their throats. She then motions for your "team" to gather near her. Her voice still echoingThese are our allies! At the peril of their own lives they attempted to broker peace for us and for the supposed wronged party. They remained as mediators when their task was accomplished asking for no further compensation or reward. We will trade with those that these represent. We will send emissaries to their brethren and broker both peace and trade. So have we agreed and so shall we do."
In a much quieter voice, gather your things and take the spoils of war then join us at the beach head and we will journey together to the wer. She bows her head in acknowledgement of you and what you have done then turns and walks away motioning for all of the others to follow.
I will post loot in discussion. If you want to roll perceptions to see what else if anything is found on the bodies go ahead.

Krokkin |

Krokkin feels the rage leave him as the blood leave Waggin. He stumbles for a moment as the exertion of battle catches up to him.
He smiles at Sorogar, then Brek, and Ohime in turn. A well fought battle, we moved as one, and as the incoming tide we were relentless and unstoppable. He pauses for a moment almost catching his breath. None shall stand against us he says in a quieter voice.
He then turns to inspect the bodies more closely.
perception check: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20

Brek of Unknown House |

Brek laughs loudly and like an insane man as the battle ends. Yet within that laughter one could perhaps hears choked back sobs...............
Laughing like this he begins searching the bodies for anything useful he could use. Tears fills his vision as everything begins to reveal that it's all over.
A loss in his heart once more.....
Perception, check loot. 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Bluff, I'm perfectly fine...not 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21

Ohimè S’adel |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

"Haha! Got you, you idiot!" she thinks as she watches Waggin stumble and fall headlong into the floor. After the dust settles and he attempts to recover himself, what happens next, she does not expect. The bloody explosion from his throat that once was there and now is not from where the Mother had sliced him asunder, forces her to avert her eyes briefly. Her song continues to sing, giving aid to those who valliantly fight for their lives and against the traitors. As the song ends and the last falls, her birdy comes to her.
"You did so well. I will make sure you get a whole slew of worms tonight."
Ohime sheaths her crossbow now that the enemies are vanquished. The sweat beading down her face from casting and thinking fast on her feat has tired her probably as much as it has Krokkin. Mother Pria approaches and she moves to meet her as indicated. The announcement is one of joy and Ohime smiles at the thought of success, even if she is a bit shy to receive such grace.
"I am glad you made it..." she answers her after the command to gather the spoils of war. It was her invisibility and likely the healing from her allies that saved the woman's life. As the others leave, Ohime nods to her companion catfolk as she shifts over near to him and his tired form.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (8) + 16 = 24
"You did amazingly well..." she comments, holding the blood-drenched Krokkin up in his weariness with two hands (not doing much of anything really). With Brek laughing, she closes her eyes and listens to his tones. It is easy for her to hear the sobs and abandons Krokkin for Sorogar to care for and so moves to take Brek into her arms in a hug. "Stop..."
It would be easy for him now to smell the scent of citronella, but also he would find that her soap's scent is made of a subtle citrus and sandalwood. Her arms are skinny, but she would wrap around him just fine if he doesn't resist her too strongly. Even if he does, she will attempt to pull him in.
Perception: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (13) + 16 = 29 For later search of the whole caves, as well as to find a nice scrumptious meal for her birdy.
