After the sounds of battle, there seems to be nothing but the sound of dripping water in the tunnel. However, the party gets a feeling along the backs of their necks that this silence is a menacing thing

There are broken doors to the east and to the west
Male Kobold Investigator1
Taishe falls in alongside Tragon. The kobold trusts the taller warrior to be able to swing over his head if they run into any more walking dead.
The kobold points to the eastern door.
"It iss closser." he states simply.

Taishe does not see any obvious traps. He notes that in this salt-water damp environment, it is unlikely that any mechanical trap would remain functional for long.
The eastern doors look as if time destroyed them, not any force. They were once stout mahogany bound in iron, but they have been warped snd twisted by years of damp conditions, the iron fitting flaking away into rusted ruin.
Looking beyond, Taishe sees a large room. In the corners are heaps of rotted wood, mushy with rot and age. A few crates and barrels are visible, and it is obvious to his eyes that the heaps of rotted wood were once also barrels and crates. There is also a large marble basin about the size and shape of a barrel with a matching stone lid. .

Taishe notes a delicate tracery all around the marble exterior. The barrel is covered in ancient script, possibly Senginese. Dragon turtles, ducks, octopi and other animals twist and cavort around the exterior. The lid is easily lifted, and beneath the barrel is revealed to be filled with clear cool water

The water is remarkably clean and pure, easily the equal to any Taishe has seen in the past. He detects no contaminants, which is remarkable in that most water that one drinks usually is chock full of various silt and other things

Tragon sees another set of ruined double doors directly opposite the ones they came in from. There is a regular single door in the northwest corner of the room, on the same wall as the double doors they entered from. The single door looks intact.

"Thiss may be the puresst water I have ever sseen. But, it doess seem to be only water. But the purity. I would be mosst interested in mixing potionss with it." Taishe slides the lid back into place and pats it gently.

The single door is stout mahogany as the double doors, but still in its place. However, it doesn’t take a master rogue to see that the centuries of damp salt air have warped this door, swelling it within its frame. It will be an effort to open it
Male Kobold Investigator1
"Ah. Master Tragon. If you would be so kind?" Taishe indicates the warped door.
Is there enough room for others to help w/'aid another' on this door check?

It is in the corner of the room, so there really isn’t a possibility of ‘aiding’ another
Male Half-Orc Fighter (Corsair) 2/Barbarian 1
Does it seem like the door can be battered with a Strength check? Or will it have to be hacked apart? Both of those options seem like bad ideas - we are in a hostile area and that will draw a whole lot of attention.

A DC 13 Str check will open them. This of course will be loud.
Male Half-Orc Fighter (Corsair) 2/Barbarian 1
Tragon sizes up the door. "I could probably get it open, but it's gonna make a racket. Anyone we didn't alert when we were fighting those corpses is sure to hear. You sure you want me to bust it?" Tragon says to Taishe.

Taishe strokes his tendril-whiskers.
"Thiss One thinkss yess. Since door iss sstuck, gang wass not using it. It may lead to nothing, or may provide alternate accesss to gang'ss area. Come in behind defenssess.
