Merry Yule all!
Today on this shortest day of the year, I’d like to wish you all peace and success in the coming Winter season.
Unfortunately we have started a new combat just as I am headed on the road for a Christmas trip. But, we should have an opportunity to get our first round moves called out. I will have a fairly lax week next week. I will get a map done then.

I hope the trip was FUN then? ;)
Hello!
So Sorry for radio silence. Been a busy Holiday.
On top of 'the usual' Holiday stuff, my wife had surgery (Nothing 'major', out-patient nasal surgery, but the recovery time is ridiculous!) AND so, of course for Christmas I got sick! ;P
SO I am trying to take care of her, and NOT share my cold (or whatever), because that would not be good. >_<
Happy (Upcoming) New Year to all! :D

Apologies in advance, Just in case. (No relation)
Got a busy TWO week rental (The big kids theater group, doing two shows back to back)
2 weeks of Long days and late nights. :(
So if I vanish for a day, (or three) Please forgive me.
On the one hand-
after much arguing with client about whether or not they could have an actual chandelier 'crash' from above the audience onto the stage for their High schoolers doing Phantom, and finding a professional rigger for them to make it happen, and NOW they are mad because the chandelier ACTUALLY (controlled) crashes onto the stage, and NOW they dont want it to ACTUALLY hit the stage (Once the rigging is done, it's too late for that nonsense) because they did not build it correctly for that. (They did NOT ask me or the rigger ONE question, they just built it their way) So Now on top of everything else I'm playing peacemaker/negotiator. :(
On the OTHER hand,
I actually get to see a production of Phantom, complete with 'crashing' chandelier. ;P
Some days, my life is a Soap Opera.
Other days, I'm just chewing soap. ;)
LAters!

In the thick of it for getting ready to move, I'll post up again next Monday the 29th.

Ragadolf |

Ok. Monday was a bear and tues/weds are their normal crappy selfs. I will update third, barring any unforeseen issues
Oh, good, it's not just me this week then? ;P
(Actually, compared to the rental Roller-coaster and River Rapids trip that was LAST weeks show,THIS week is a calm inner-tube ride down a calm stream. But still,...) ;)
HAng in there Monkey! :)

I'm looking forward to a few days of relative quiet. Then I will be on vacation next week (I am actually headed out your way Rags, I'm going to sample N'awleens for Mardi Gras). I don't know if I will post, mainly because most of my games are now involved in battles, and that takes tower time to process the maps and such

Ragadolf |

LOL<
Yeah, when I was ENGAGED, I loved going to New Orleans for Mardi Gras.
I was from OK (and a few other states that didnt want me either. N.O. will take ANYone!) And my wife is from Naw'lins. Her mother always insisted on buying tickets in the stands for the big parades, and It was fun.
(Man, people be CRAZY and fight dirty to claim those stupid plastic beads!) ;P
Once we were married, and I was living in the middle of New Orleans ('Mid-City', actually) I HATED Mardi Gras. Trying to get to or from work in the city through, by or around parade routes is REDICULOUS!
Still had to buy a ladder, put a wooden seat on top of it, and take the kids to as many parades as we could though. ;P
Have Fun PAt!
Just be sure NOT to get caught out in the French Quarter at midnight on Mardi Gras Day! They DO roll down the street in fire trucks, hosing everyone off the streets (and believe me, the streets need the bath!) while the police cars blare "MARDI GRAS IS OVER! GO HOME!" on their speakers! ;D
Safe travels, have fun, catch beads, enjoy 'Hurricanes' (the drinks, not the storms!) and bring us back crazy stories of what you saw! :)

Ugh, finally about to dig out of catching up with moving and work. I will be posting up this weekend.

You and Rags should meet up in Baton Rouge! According to my buddy, that's an equal distance for you both to drive.
Keep your standards high and your morals low Pat and have fun!

Ragadolf |

Yep, tis the season for beads and debauchery!
(Not necessarily in that order!) ;P
And parades. Lots of parades.
And parade goers who have NO concept of "how NOT to get run over by a float", and other general safety concerns.
And some folks are just far too obsessed over claiming their plastic beads. Even if you grabbed it first.
It's an adventure alright Pat! ;P
Hold your Hurricane high, your beads tight, and "Lassez Bon Temps Rouler"!
Which translates (very, VERY loosely) as, "Let it all hang out and have fun!" ;P
(Actually, it's "Let the Good Times Roll", so I was close!) ;P
PS- you are correct Shadow, Baton Rouge is halfway between where I live (Lafayette) and New Orleans.
BR is one hour away, NO is 2hrs. :)

Yeah, I had a couple of people fight me over the beads. However, I let them go because, they are FNCKING BEADS! Amirite? Life is too short to get twisted up about some cheap plastic beads. I mean we got all this without much effort.

As a conscientious DM, I feel like I should warn you are in danger of committing one of the classic blunders :
“Never split the party when in hostile territory!”

I KNEW that was gonna be the clip!
(LUV that movie) :)Yeah, Taishe might want to wait a sec and make sure someone (ANYone) is following him to back him up. ;P

Oh I thought that too, but you know Minotaurs, very hot headed!

Also, Tragon, you are under fire a ways down from the corridor. There is a large very crocodilly on the loose in that area now. We are in combat, so we will have to unspool all of these things once I have time to sit down
My bad. Somehow I knew, but then forgot, that we were in initiative.

Ok. So my week is still going crazy. However I have partially updated the combat. Hopefully it clears up a bit of the confusion. Currently Jakun has removed himself from your melee, and is trying to flank the crossbowmen (I think). I’ll need some actions from the higher scorers so I can get down to the mob’s turn.
