As soon as possible. I've been meaning to do this for awhile so I just have to double check my table materials prep. Otherwise I can start as soon as there is a fullish table.

Well, I've been meaning to get into Starfinder Society. Guess this is as good a time as any, I suppose! Now to decide what I want to start playing as! ;)
Quick question - here on the Paizo forms, what is considered Good Form as far as where you house your player information. Here on Paizo, or on another online sheet repository, etc?

chibiamy - When I GM I find having the character information on Paizo, as part of your alias profile, easiest to work with (if you have all your info there - Click my profile picture for an example). Other places are fine too, but it becomes a multi-step process to get what I'm after.

Agreed. I don't always fill out a full sheet for every character I have, but I always fill it out for pbp. I have a few links to some excellent form posts about good ways to format your sheet and you posts that I would be happy to share with you chibimay.

I have done a very little Play by Post in the past, and that all PFS1 but with staying home, I thought I would give it another try. I am adding my character sheet to the character's profile page. I would not mind seeing those links also.
I hope you don't mind another relative novice to PbP.
ps: apologies for the leet-speak name, I couldn't resist it.

Quick question: I know this might be hard to plan, but do you expect the game to finish before PaizoCon? (May 26th)
That will depend on the speed of posting. With so many people spending so much time to home it might go faster than usual.

This is a character that I played in a pbp once. It doesn't completely follow all the guidelines since I tend to play pbp in fits and starts mostly focusing on pbp cons, but you can see the general idea in play.Dooain Rocsun

I've been meaning to get in on SFS too. I might need just the teeniest bit of hand-holding...Yeah, same here! Except maybe lots of hand-holding on the Faction Reputation and stuff.
Yeah the most confusing part about that is filling in the sheet. Basically at character creation you get the basic faction champion boon for one faction. You may use fame earned to buy the basic boon to represent other factions as your character continues to adventure. You only represent one faction in any given scenario but can be part of many different factions.
As you gain reputation within a faction you are able to get better resources from them. Some of these are free boons you qualify for by just reaching the reputation tier, some need to be bought with fame.
Additionally, some scenarios give you the chance to earn reputation with factions in addition to the reputation you earn normally. You do not usually need to be a member of the faction or representing them at the time to earn this bonus reputation. It simply represents faction leaders remembering the times you did things that aligned with their interests.
That's the gist of how factions and reputation work.

also, um you asked for starship role when there is none in 1-1, unless of course you plan to DM several scenarios for the same group.
No i just made something generic I can reuse as far as a sign up sheet goes.
Which means we have a full table of 6. I know some of you are new and some are in the middle of other things. Would Monday be to early to start?
I've messaged our last two to make sure they are ready to start. I might have a seventh sign up as well. Would the group prefer a big table or for me to split the table into two? I can do either the prep is already done.
