Let’s wait until the AoOs have been resolved?

"Rum-RUMPHHH?"
Not understanding how this mosquito is still moving, Lakadee tries something new. This time he tries to hit it on the left side instead of the right.
AoO Slam, MF, vs. prone giant mosquito: 1d20 + 10 + 1 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 10 + 1 + 4 = 31 for dmg: 2d6 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (4, 1) + 7 + 1 = 13

Lackadee squashes the bug, Linka's bombs destroy the corpse, ensuring that it can no longer heal.
Around you, the unearthly chanting abruptly stops as the worshippers collapse to the ground.
The mosquitos around them gather up in a cloud and scatter into the wilderness.
The sudden silence is momentarily shocking.
Congratulations! You saved the day!
We did a lot of RP already (which I really enjoyed) so let me know what you would like to do in Ravenmoor now. Ekanta has an invitation to breakfast but I don't believe the rest of you have made any plans.
I will get the chronicles out in the next few days, so you should be good to apply for Outpost games. This is 3xp and 4pp.

Sayuki, now that everything is fine, collapses onto all fours.
"Someone please heal me," she wheezes, "so I can vomit without dying." She raises a hand up to her middle and presses, hating the feeling of wet she-hopes-it's-flesh-but-maybe-it's-organs.

Oh, right. Here
Linka pulls out a wand and touches it to Sayuki.
Wand of Cure light wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
That should hold you together for a bit.

GM Elberion |

Oh, yes. Sayuki, would you make six fortitude saves, please?
Do not worry: you can’t die from hitting zero wisdom. It will just be up to the others to nurse you back to health :D

Perhaps I can't die directly from hitting zero Wisdom, but I can die from related causes. Last words: "Tanya, hold my sake!"

Sayuki spends her last two rounds of actions attacking the nearest person. She is slowed for about the next minute. Sayuki, take your attacks.

GM Elberion |

Sayuki bottoms out with a Wisdom score of 2!

![]() |

And to think, just a liiiiiittle more HP damage and I wouldn’t be conscious enough to attack!
Sayuki, as her wits begin to drain, lets out a childish giggle and lashes out at the ever-helpful Linka!
Stab: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

Before she regathers a few wits, Sayuki also stabs Linka!

Vina is about to command Lakadee to subdue Sayuki, but she thankfully regains her wits before the tree gets to fall upon her... literally...

"Heehee! Yeah~" sings Sayuki, stumbling back, flailing her kunai another time, and falling onto her behind.
Right in a pile of her own vomit.
"My booty's weettttttttt," she giggles.
2 Wis? Oh we're gonna have fun :D
"I don't feeeeel so goooooood"

What's that? The duplicitous one is now easily duped?
Linka frowns at her fresh cut.
It's probably better if you get everything wet so it matches.

GM Elberion |

Tanya and Linka, I have questions in the discussion thread for you.
Still delirious and seeming dazed, the locals begin to gather up their clothes and disappear into the corn maze.
On the altar, Fendren begins to stir.
A distant raven caws.

Vina inspects Fendren for wounds, diseases, poisons...

Vina begins to heal the poor young man. (He's young right?)
Wand of Cure Light Wounds, GM please tell me if one or two charges is enough; I can roll more if he's not at full after 3 charges...: 3d8 + 3 ⇒ (8, 3, 3) + 3 = 17

GM Elberion |

He is young. And one charge healed him fully.
Fendren blinks awake and looks around, startled, then he reaches up to his head, "Ow!" As he sits up, he sees the human-sized insect and gutted mayor and blanches. He steadies himself on the altar, "Did that, oh, you saved me."
He glances over at Kriegler, "And the mayor fought beside you as well?" The young man's hand covers his mouth for a moment, "He died saving me!"

After your group take some time to recover, you leave behind a traumatised town getting to grips with the traitors in their midst and the lies that underpinned so much of their daily routines.
Upon your return to Magnimar, the cloak of secrecy is thrown back so that both you and the society can bask in the glow of your celebration as heroes.
Jeminda is left to mourn her brother-in-law and the church of Desna sends a mission to Ravenmoor to make right what was so spoiled by the corruption of one of their own.
The society finds a place for several of the artefacts you discovered amongst their Varisian folk-art collections and you are roundly praised for your handling of the crisis.
Ekanta's breakfast with Lucille is, of course, a private matter.

He smiles and shakes your hand, "They remember you, you know. They're grateful, for the most part." gesturing to a seat, the cleric takes a stool for himself, "The temple has been rebuilt, pretty much, and they tore down the Chenowitz Place: buried the bodies, cleared the ground. That whole maze, yard, house, all of it, it's being planted up as an orchard."
There is a mischievous glint in the priest's eye, "Oh, but I'm holding back on the big news. They still have a feast every month - too much fun - but now it's called the Heroes' Feast. Someone's carved rough, wooden statues of you all, put them under a tree to take the place of Vina's companion. At the festival, they throw these big hoops, like the ones round the belly of a barrel, and try to land them over one of the heroes."
Clearly concerned that he might have been a bit too giddy, he becomes more earnest, "It's a wonder, really. A few of the cultists left - the ferryman, for one - but other stayed. The Lupescus still run the store; a good smith is a valuable asset. They keep their heads down though. Most importantly, the air has cleared. Without all of this worship of decay, and with clerics to heal and remove diseases, the town has done well. Crops are proving hardier, more reliable, and there are less stirges, midges and mosquitoes about the place. You should visit some time, if you can."
He rises to leave, "Oh, nearly forgot..." He takes a small parcel from his pack and hands it to Ekanta.
Ekanta and nosy people
The bag contains a finely tooled leather belt, carefully decorated with a scene of heroic figure protecting a maiden from a monster. Looking carefully, it seems as though the hero might have hooves. And are the hero and maiden lashed together at the ankle?

He hesitates a moment (considering if perhaps it would be better locked in a false-bottomed chest somewhere) before putting it on.
Once a refugee from suffering under an alien tyrant, now a savior from same; it has proved a long journey from old Wanshou, indeed....
