Ekanta, I am confused. You can pass through an allies square, so you can get where you want to go without needing acrobatics. Was that for flavour?
Sayuki stares in fascination at the scarecrow, not noticing the hooked metal barbs that make up the constructs hands.
Ekanta proves more spritely, dashing around and soundly clubbing the construct.
Vina and Tanya are up.

For those who do not know, with a gaze you can close your eyes (with all of the attendant problems, including a 50% miss chance) or you can avert your gaze (+4 to save but 20% miss chance) or you can just look at it and try to make the save.
Averting Eyes: The opponent avoids looking at the creature’s face, instead looking at its body, watching its shadow, tracking it in a reflective surface, etc. Each round, the opponent has a 50% chance to avoid having to make a saving throw against the gaze attack. The creature with the gaze attack, however, gains concealment against that opponent.
Wearing a Blindfold: The foe cannot see the creature at all (also possible to achieve by turning one’s back on the creature or shutting one’s eyes). The creature with the gaze attack gains total concealment against the opponent.
Staying outside of the scarecrow's gaze range, Vina conjures a mudball and flings it at the scarecrow's eyes!
Casting Mudball
ranged touch: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
If the mudball hits, the target is blinded. Each round at the beginning of its turn, a creature blinded by this spell can attempt a Reflex DC 15 saving throw to shake off the mud, ending the effect. The mudball can also be wiped off by the creature affected by it or by a creature adjacent to the creature affected by it as a standard action.
NOTE TO GM: I believe in this particular situation mud in the scarecrow's eyes would cancel its Gaze attack yes?

Lakadee then moves in, taking a swipe at the thing with his flaying limbs. Immune to mind-affecting effects.

I figured I'd cut it close, so that if I made my Acrobatics check, no harm done, and if I failed, I'd drain it of its AoO - basically giving it a chance without taking too much risk to myself.
Casting Mudball
Last time I checked, race-exclusive spells (UNLIKE deity-exclusive spells), were truly exclusive to those races. :/

Tanya, standing outside the range of the Gaze effect, realizes she has no great position to shoot the scarecrow. She waits for the other Pathfinders to move into favorable positions before firing at the Scarecrow.

Sayuki, unless you have a special way to get a new save (like the amulet that lets you save every round against ongoing effects) then you are stuck.
Not that it matters because...

Scouting around to the rear of the building, Sayuki finds a fetid pond, some trailing plants and a half-collapsed building. What she does not find is an alternative way in to the Chenowitz Place.

Sayuki scoots scouts along the back, then comes back around the other side. Once they've all assembled-- assuming no further interruptions-- she shares with the party what, if anything, she's seen through the windows.
| GM Elberion |
The windows are boarded up and it is dark within. All except for the south-west corner where some flickering lights can be seen between the boards. Squinting through the boards, Sayuki makes out two candles on a shelf. By their light she makes out a broken chair, legs splayed in the air, and a worn-out mattress.

Uh...sure, I guess so; sorry for my hiatus. I'm not sure where it is, though, so please move me to wherever it is.

Sayuki completed her perimeter search; no other doors, windows are boarded, one has a faint light coming from inside. We’re now just going with good ol’ “get in there with weapons drawn.”
| GM Elberion |
Vina, I have revealved what Sayuki saw on the map, if that helps.
As you step up to the house, twisted and entwined vines of dead ivy
drape the rotting columns and broken boards of this rickety porch, creating a thick curtain of vegetation.
As Ekanta pushes through the vegetation, he finds a deformed human skeleton tangled in the vines.
The door feels brittle and creaks open, revealing a large interior space.
A cold hearth dominates this large room. Between the mostly collapsed internal walls and separate jumbles of crumbled furniture, it seems that this large room may have once been several smaller rooms. A rickety ladder leads to what looks like an upper loft above, visible through several large holes in the overhanging ceiling above. A large wooden cage sits in the southwest corner of the room.
