Quick Looting
You can loot creatures faster than most.
Benefit: You can loot a creature as an immediate action instead of as a long task that can take up minutes. As soon as the last opponent is defeated you can loot that one of everything but the underwear before they hit the ground.
Normal: Without this feat, you need a move action to pick up an item and the times given for removing armor in the armor chapter.

Ohrmizd and his scimitar wear each other for protection.
He misses his magical scimitar though, he did not have the opportunity to ever sleep with her. She sure regrets the missed opportunity to lay in bed with such a steezy pal too.

Oh, yes, Ohrmizd explanations were based mainly in your quest log, the help is invaluable to track where are we and what's left through the days and weeks!
@Foxy Quickpaws : What's the check to know that Harpy song is a sonic effect, or is that considered general knowledge (as the party has been exposed to it)?
The old party for sure would know that the song had that effect. That Muffling her would help is a good guess, but to know for sure, Know(Arcana), and a pretty good roll for that.
For the others the Harpy is DC14 Knowledge(Nature)
You've taken your time reading the book, so here is the content summary:
Manuun:
Any character who spends more than a day studying the book learns the names of all five of the Templars of the Five Winds, their associated weapons, and the aspect of wind with which they are associated. The book also contains a brief entry on Jhavhul, who is listed as a shamed member of the efreet nobility of the City of Brass, a famed location on the Plane of Fire. The entry suggests that he ventured to the Material Plane in search of an army and a legacy to raise his standing, during which time he and his armies warred against the Templars of the Five Winds, but that he was never seen in the City of Brass again.
Davashuum
Wields a powerful quarterstaff.
He represents the fury of winds from all directions
Kardswann
Wields an elaborate greataxe.
He represents the south wind, the most well-traveled and worldly of the winds.
Pazhvann
Wields a tremendous burning flail.
He represents the east wind, upon which the whispers of the gods and the advice of elders is carried.
Vardishal
Wields an ice spitting pepperbox.
He represents the north wind, a wind said to carry the battle cries of all armies.
Zayifid.
Wields a delicate but razor-sharp scimitar.
He represents the west wind, upon which secrets thought hidden were carried.
I don't think my plan would bother Erastil. He is not against killing animals for a purpose. He's a god of small communities, farmers, and hunters/trappers. If it tortured the goat, he probably would be, but ground glass in your food won't cause you pain - your intestines don't have the same nerves as your skin - but you die from internal bleeding from a bunch of miniature cuts to the many blood vessels there.

Come on Omari... Be honest man... You think poisoning or force feeding ground glass to an animal is something Erastil would be ok with, depending on the purpose?
With nothing found, some probably far to strong suggestions:
Groundglass (ingested)
DC15 Fort Save.
Onset 1min
Frequency 1/10min for 1hour
1Con Dmg
Cure 2 consecutive saves.
And that is not taking into account, that the beast might notice, that the food is spiked. All in all, that will be an underwhelming result.

Real world, yeah. He's a god of farmers and hunters in a "Medieval" setting. There are implications to that.
What I've described is pretty much how hunting crocodiles is done before guns. People have been baiting predators with staked goats for a long time. Look at the slaughters of buffalo jumps or beater and drum hunts... It's gotten better with modern technology and the science of ecology, but humans put a lot of pressure on the local wildlife.
Farmers take care of their animals, but they still do harsh harsh things man. Every year they slaughter herd down in the fall. They castrate steers by knotting a rubber band around their balls (this used to be wire before rubber bands...). They don't feed cats, ever, because it keeps them on their toes WRT mouse catching. They do everything they can to kill pests - poisons, traps, whatever.

I am not aware of any rulebook entry for ground glass. Real world it will kill you stone dead - over several days - but real world poisons tend to be a lot more effective than in PF...
Another thing, as it comes up every second day in gameplay: In a real world it would totally make sense, that Garavel and the crew support you.
BUT: “Howl of the Carrion King” is a Pathfinder Adventure Path scenario designed for four 1st-level characters.
As always, for a first level adventure, the NPCs could do the job without you and they could do it better. So please do me a favor and treat Father Zastoran as a merchant for low level magical stuff, that you have to pay for and Garavel simply as your quest giver.

So, summing up a bit:
we got wax
trying to get some silver
we got some groundglass (might be not as effective as expected)
Things decided:
we assume the peryton is gone and go strike next the harpy
defeating Undrella without negotiation is decided
we move to western side and defeat any patrol, trying to intercept food for the goatman
we use poisoned bait to weaken the goatman
Ongoing discussions:
we use the groundglass on one of our goats (1) or we try to intercept one gnoll feeding patrol and put in that food the groundglass or poison (2)? (1) Omari, (2) Ohrmizd and Roryx (@) Manuun thinks the goatman is not being fed (#) Heshan any opinion?
we depart immediately to gain time (1) or we wait for Heshan to rest and recover full magic (2)? (1) Omari, Ohrmizd, (2) Manuun, (#) Heshan, Roryx any opinion?
obtaining a scroll of silence from Father Zastoran at 75 gp (1) or just using the wax (2)? (1) Manuun, Roryx, (2) Heshan, Ohrmizd, (#) Omari any opinion?
Opinions? If I left something or someone changed opinion just point it out.
In the discussion about the goat manuun is for option 2.
The other options are stated correctly.
Financially we would be able to afford the scroll and a light silver weapon.
If there is no silver weapon available or we decide against the scroll, Manuun would like to buy Sorayas Shortbow and arrows from the remaining money. (34 gp)

@ Foxy, is this okay?
Soraya would for sure lend you the bow for free, until you find one of your own.
I'm fine with option 2 (the food the gnolls are bringing) for the ground glass maneuver. It's not like Omari has ever done it himself before - he was kidnapped as a 13 year old acolyte, not a experienced crocodile hunter.
Also, if we rest, I can do some healing on top of what Father Z's stuff so we will be at full (up to 4 CLW, and 3d6 channelling). I can also throw around mending (cantrip) to fix broken equipment if there is any. Also, I can use Heal to provide long term care, for example, to speed healing of ability damage (Orhmzid are you still down con?).
Note that I have the deadeye bowman trait, so I ignore 1 person's worth of soft cover penalties.
This is something else than the penalty for firing into melee, correct?
How does this work? Ic ould not find a rule concerning this. For instance in the current situation Undrella is not part of any melee, but would I still incur any penalties for the fact that Ohrmizd and now a gnoll are in the way.
Creatures, even your enemies, can provide you with cover against ranged attacks, giving you a +4 bonus to AC. However, such soft cover provides no bonus on Reflex saves, nor does soft cover allow you to make a Stealth check.
Male Human Keleshite Inquisitor of Sarenrae 13 | GMW 12h, MV 12h
Yes, it even applies to reach weapons.
It requires Improved Precise Shot to ignore this penalty, but followers of Erastil has access to the Deadeye trait to ignore 1 creature soft cover, like Omari already explained.

Guys I am unable to log into Paizo on my PC... it seems only the phone session which is already running works. But phone posting is horrible, so... I will wait until the Paizo site is working properly.
