So these count as unimproved sunder attempts using Radagast's CMB (rather than his BAB, iterative attack penalties count).

Radagast catches cuts one of the tough umbilici and shears it off one of those attached to her hip with two strikes of his claws. Then he scratches another with his foreclaw. Brackish pus leaks from the torn ends of the severed flesh tube.

it looks like her token is out of the tentacles?

@GM can I retcon and grab a rope as a free action and throw it into her square? (from where I am} Otherwise, I'd have to double move into the tentacles.

He doesn't believe in 'game balance'. Gandalf always lets him pass. As a feat, he has Exotic Weapon Proficiency (beard). The city guard often question him, just because they find him so interesting. His dice bag is woven from tarrasque leather. His TPKs end game lines. His blood cures moderate wounds. He once punched a flumph. Yes, you heard me. Sure. we can call rope a "weapon-like" object (assuming it is not at the bottom of Grog's backpack, or secured to the top of the hole that leads down here), Erinyes do it all the time.

To get clear, all that is required is movement through difficult terrain.

Really? I thought I was tethered to the ground? In that case, Zora keeps moving forward (10' is 1/2 movement).

Zora pulls herself free of the field of tentacles.

Grog tugs on the rope.

Yabatha can try to make a CMB v the tentacles (DC 13) with a +2 bonus for Grog's aid. If she succeeds Grog can haul her out. If not he probably just dislocates her arm, or something. Make a wish!

Stormy's reptilian companion flails at the woman but can't seem to connect, so she calls upon her more reliable feline friend who with the aid of magic, claw and fang finally puts down the Blakros scion.

VICTORY!

The space beneath the archway continues to flash images of some other place not below ground. It is a dark place of red sands and strange stars overhead. Voices can be heard on the other side speaking in a language no one in the party understands, and they all feel as if they are being watched.

Note: the black tentacles are still in play.

The woman, if it still a woman,is still alive. The magic I infused Shade's claws and teeth with causes nonlethal cold damage and fatigue. She should be, well not fine, but alive and awake in a few hours at the most. Can anyone close this gate thing? I'd rather nothing else come wandering through.
