The lashunta draws his pistol fires against the purple one.
Ember Pistol, Truth-Sequence: 1d20+7
Damage: 1d6
Trick att. Survival: 1d20+9+4
Damage: 1d4
It doesn't matter in this case, since the shot missed, but you can't draw a weapon and trick attack in the same turn (Trick Attack is a full-round action).

If it makes you feel any better, your healing (and the mind thrust) on the jinsul had no effect on the hit-points of the demons, which are completely separate creatures.

Thank you for the information. I did not recall the attack opportunity for casting spell so I go with the first plan. I use my heal roll and do not use the drinking the serum roll.
Actually, let me clarify a bit, because I think I was misunderstanding what ability you were using. "Healing Touch" (pg. 84) is a once/day ability you use during a 10-minute rest. I think what you're using is "Healing Channel" (pg. 86), which is not actually a spell, but a supernatural ability (that's what the "Su" next to it means). It uses RP but not a spell slot, and it would not provoke an attack of opportunity. You could have remained next to the demon and used your move action to draw a serum of healing if you'd like (though I think moving away is smart). Drawing a serum is a move action (not swift), and then drinking it is a standard action, so you wouldn't have been able to do that and use Healing Channel in the same round.

O that is what Su means, lol supernatural ability. Yes it is "healing channel" sorry I did not pay attention. Thanks for letting me know drawing a serum is a move action. Still learning. But I think it was the best to move then heal.

Yeah, the book doesn't do a great job of explaining those abbreviations.
None of those use spell slots, and of them, only Sp provokes attacks of opportunity.

Yeah, the book doesn't do a great job of explaining those abbreviations.
Su = Supernatural ability
Sp = Spell-like ability
Ex = Extraordinary ability None of those use spell slots, and of them, only Sp provokes attacks of opportunity.
Thanks that is helpful. Yeah I had no idea lol

Round 4 missions are unlocked! The most important thing that means for you at this juncture, is that at any point you can decide to ditch this mission and proceed down to the ground. Feel free to discuss here and let me know if you want to do that.

Sorry for the slow response today, folks. Please weigh in here on which option you would like to pursue.

Alright folks, as we approach the end of the scenario here, let's take care of a little bookkeeping:
1) Do any of these characters have the Scoured Stars Veteran boon from the first special, SFS #1-99 The Scoured Stars Invasion? It seems unlikely, but it has an effect on your chronicle if so.
2) Boon rolls! Everyone, please roll a d20 and a d3. You win a boon on a 19 or 20, and if so, the d3 determines which boon.
Dennis Boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 16
Which?: 1d3 ⇒ 2
