Here's hoping I get a round after Nyd's heal.
Veratash saw Nyd pointing the wand at him and the magic fading from it. "Thanks", he tried to say, but a only a dry "Zeee" came out. He rolled over and got up, trying to focus on what to do. Finally, he got an idea.
First, he attacked the two dolgaunts.

After that, he projected his body over Sorashana. As he fell over her, he screamed "AAAAA", and tried to pin her down.
Not sure what to roll here, so I'll just roll a d20. I teleported above Sorashana and am using surprise to make her fall to the ground, and pin her there.

Artur awoke to find the abomination that was grappling him dead. He stood and took stock of the situation: it was going pretty okay for the moment: he did not, however, see Veratash's friend. He then watched Veratash move over...and disappear, reappearing in the sky.
"Someone needs to explain to that boy what 'not draw attention to yourself' means." chuckled Artur before turning his attention to the Dolgaunt that was savaging Liti.
Artur raised his pistol and then both his pistol AND his shoulder cannon fired at the creature.

After sputtered for a few precious seconds, Artur finally found his voice and said "Dragons have breath weapons, we need to spread out some!" Artur then backed up a bit....not cause he was intimidated, but because he was following his own advice. Nope, not scared of that mean ole' dragon at all! No sir!

Nyd flinches backwards. Dragon's were powerful beyond what he was equipped, mentally and physically, to handle.
"So much for the conversation of resources!" Nyd chuckles in a way that felt quite fatalistic. "I suppose it is time to go 'all-in' as some people say!"

I know Liti is dying, but there's a mix of both Briar can't fix that (no magic or medicine) and in the back of her mind, this is what Liti is bred for. As a player I'd be gutted if the little furball met her end ut Briar is otherwise focused at the moment :s

Aware that the dragon was attacking the more vulnerable of the group, something finally snapped in Briar's mind and she hissed in challenge, which quickly became a roar as she pounced on the dragon. With a bound of her powerful legs she arced upwards, dragging her glaive across the underside of the dragon's neck, she then stabbed it downwards near the giant eye, before finally seizing the edge of a scale and smashing her head in to the dragon's face.

Zdravko had nothing to reach that range, but decided to try and distract the dragon away from her fallen companions. Channeling her silent shadow arts, she made the appearance of a glistening Khyber dragonshard, as if fallen from one of our backpacks in the fight, some 30 ft to the southwest. She then tried to make herself wholly unseen...if it took the bait, perhaps she could triage Artur next round.

As the dragon flexed its wings and launched away, Briar screamed, a primal noise of escaping prey, a hunter thwarted. She spun around, acid saliva flecked across her maw, hey eyes fixed on Sorashana.
With two strides of her digitigrade legs she bounded across the ground, leaping in to the air...
So the jumping rules say: as long as you move at least 10 ft, you can jump 3' + STR mod, and hold your arms above your head for 1.5 times your height in reach, so that's 12.5 feet plus the 10 ft reach of her glaive, which makes Sorashana a viable target...
...at the apex of her leap towards Sorashana, Briar unleashed a swift double stab, before twisting in the air to smash the haft of her glaive against the woman's legs even as she fell back to earth and landed in a crouch, hatred in her eyes.

Finally shaking off the dragon's aura of fear, Nyd rapidly moved to the south-east next to Veratash so he could support the team with his short-ranged heal spell. And not be adjacent to the dragon, lol.
Nyd says as quietly as he can on the battlefield and still be heard."Vertash, I am still not really equipped for non-lethal takedowns. I can change targets if you believe it would be beneficial however."
Nyd once again gestures with his standby spell, this time adding the extra gestures required to use his largest spell slot. The bolts of force appear and race towards the dragon, while preparing to counter either the dragon's breath weapon, or the next spell that Veratash's companion used.
