Zaraith walks up towards the two who were injured by the metal plate, pulling out the healing potion he was carrying from earlier. Glancing at the two of them, he holds it out for Barlespin.
"Aaaaa! That hurts! Can someone heal me or do I have to spend my healing potion?"
Barlespin lies on the ground, unconscious. As he is fed the potion, his large yellow eyes flutter open.
"That was unfortunate," he says as he stands back up.
Morgan drinks his potion.
"Who will go first now?"
"I'll take the lead." Zaraith will move to the front of the group, advancing slowly down the corridors while keeping an eye out for any more traps.
Morgan follows Zaraith.
Several different passageways converge on a narrow ledge overlooking a rubble-filled cavern. The far wall is made of a smooth, dark gray metal. A single circular door, tightly closed, sits on the metal wall just above the upper level of the rubble.
On top of the rubble a gremlin sits, sharpening a spear with a piece of metal.

Barlespin raises his hand, his eyes flickering briefly from yellow to a metallic grey. A spark of electricity flashes from his hand toward the creature.
Morgan aims a little and shoots in the gremlin.Then he reloads.
The room is just cluttered with junk. You cannot see anything that is of any real value.
Sinna goes to investigate the doors, seeing if she can determine a means of opening them...
The doors are large and made of shiny metal. You cannot see any locking mechanism this side of the door, so it must be on the other side.
"Let's go back to report your success!"
As Morgan pronounces success Watanabe looks down the short corridor that he missed hoping there would be no surprises.
Watanabe looks into the room down the short corridor and does not see any threats.
Morgan returns to the place where Sef is. "There are no more gremlins! You are safe now!"
Sef smiles and is pleased. My thanks or you assistance. Now to honour my end of the bargain. Here, this pouch contains token scavenged around the area and these were found recently among some rubble. I do not know what they are or what they do, but the purple haired lady asked us for something like this when she passed through. That must mean they have value if someone is asking for them. We did not have them at the time, but now we do or now you do.
"Purple haired lady? When did this person pass through? Which direction did she head in?"
Watanabe casts detect magic and takes 8 of the silverdisks. He examines the cards closely in any case.
Meyanda she said her name was. Her and her group headed to the east, deeper into the caves. It was 8 days ago.
Watanabe finds nothing magical about these strange items.
Barlespin nods. "I saw a body in the chamber to the southwest, with the brown dust in there. Any idea who that is?"
The skulk just shakes her head. There have been several expeditions come through. You are the sixth.
"Do you know what killed the person in that chamber?"
At the mention of the purple haired lady, Sinna asks, "Did the purple-haired lady look like me , perhaps?" hold out and arm for the skulk's inspection.
She had strange glowing lines on her skin and I have not seen hair that colour on anyone but a gnome.
"Perhaps we should investigate the body." Watanabe asks, "With your blessing of course."
Barlespin nods to Watanabe. "This seems wise."
Sinna nods and ponders the possibility that another of her kind had passed this same way, then nods again at the idea of investigating the body, "I agree, we may find a clue..."
The group moves back to the room with the body slumped against the wall.
Barlespin approaches, then looks at the dust. "I am concerned this might be some sort of spore, though I am not familiar enough to identify such things."
If no one else can identify it, or suggests an alternative, he will begin cautiously moving toward the body.
Ohitekan casts detect magic on the dust
Ohitekan studies the dust, using a spell to assist and highlight any magical origins. This dust does not show up as magical.
If he doesn't know anything about it already he'll take a page out of Morgan's book and toss a rock in. If the dust doesn't react then Watanabe will enter but activate Iron Skin before doing so.
"I have rope! If someone has a grappling hook we can try to grapple the body and pull it here!"
Watanabe tosses a rock into the dust. It sits there unmoving and unaffected.
Casting a spell on himself Watanabe wades in. The dust springs up and covers him.
Watanabe falls to the floor, unconscious.

"I have one..." Sinna says , beginning to rummage through her pack. When she looks up and sees Watanabe lying on the ground, "Perhaps we should retrieve Wan first..." she says, offering Morgan the rope and hook.
Morgan hooks Watanabe and starts pulling him.
Morgan pulls Watanabe back to the group and out of the mold.
"Who can heal him!?"
Then he tries to hook the dead body.
Morgan hooks the body and pulls it out also.
Sinna nods to Morgan in congratulations on his 'fishin' expertise.
She approaches Watanabe, intending to heal him, wary of any mold that still persists on his body...
The mold seems to fall away as the body is pulled out of the patch. The body still wears a masterwork chain shirt. It also still carries a set of masterwork thieves’ tools, a masterwork hand crossbow with 5 bolts and several empty vials. 75 gp tinkles out of the belt pouch when you move it.
"We need to wait here until Watanabe regains consciousness."
