Hamaria is obviously stunned from the news that you bear that she nearly forgets to retrieve the the items from you.
"They are alive and now heading the Onyx Alliance. I....I...never thought that such a thing was possible..."
She turns to each of you and with a serious tone, after regaining her bearings.
"I would ask that you keep this news to only yourselves and to your leaders and relay that this is my request."
Once done, she dismisses you all. It is clear she has no wish to either discuss or explain this matter at all.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------
Nigel is at the entrance awaiting all of you.
"I will take over the items that you have brought back and you ahve my heartfelt thanks for your aid in this matter. Pathfinders of your skills are always welcome within the museum."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------
Venture-Captain Ambrus Valsin awaits your report, and does not interrupt at all except to ask at the end it.
"Your thoughts on this? It seems the conflict between the two might grow bigger. Does the Society get involved or should we recluse ourselves?"
Khellek the historian
|
"She seemed to think the Society is already invovled. Without knowing the history of the situation.." A thought that seems to cause the academic almost physical pain.. "how can we make a recommendation about the future? It is unclear what she wants, whether she has fair claim on it, and what the implications of her getting it would be... But that she didn't immediately attack us is probably a good sign. Perhaps the society could broker some type of meeting between them?"
Numair Salmalin
|
Numair frowns thoughtfully.
"The Society has had a fruitful relationship with the Blakros Museum for many years, strengthened at times by direct employment, or even marriage. Yes, there are some stains on the character of the Blakros Family, but the same is true of the Society. I would not advocate an all-out pre-emptive war, but the Blakros are our allies, and they deserve to be treated as such."
His frown then deepens, as he continues.
"Moreover, the Blakros Family is a known quantity, but the Alliance are not - I feel it would be foolish to stand aside, and let them simply take over (no doubt causing a reasonable amount of mayhem in the process); I am loathe to let an organisation that is literally based in the shadow-copy of Absalom increase its power on this plane..."
Lasaraleen
|
I would totally agree with Numair. The Blakros Family, although a bit strange, have been friends or at least associates of the Society.
I cannot imagine this Onyx Alliance provide us with anything but grief. Sounds too much like the Shadows and the dark deeds found within. Lasaraleen shakes her head at the thought of dealing with them again.

Venture-Captain Ambrus Valsin sits as he takes in each and everyone's opinions.
"We do have a long history of cooperation with the Blakros Family. I will however bring up your individual recommendations so that we may make plans going forward." he pauses as he smiles at all of you.
"You have had a long day agents. Submit your reports and have a long good rest."
