Lol, I would obviously pick today over the statue animating and squashing all of us into paste.

;) well feel free to pluck out the eyes and see what happens. Though you have only gone through half the ruin. And there are still secrets that remain hidden.

@atar, a reflavor of weapon is fine with me.

Although brightberry fully intends to, he is wise enough to wait until after everything else is done. He would totally pad the marshmallow test!

I am predicting that removing the gems in the statue's eyes will dispel the silence.

Once dispelled, the statue will be continually shouting out directions on how to avoid the cursed tomb and access the dragon hoard of treasure beneath it.

It will also occasionally pop in next week's winning lottery numbers and sing jaunty tunes, won't it?

Been sick this week, my apologies. I’ll try to get an update sometime during the weekend.

This is rather sad for me. I was excited about roleplaying this character and leveling him up. I've also enjoyed the other characters thus far. I understand missing due to sickness, but we go by days at a time without any progression. I check back multiple times a day (I also have other games I play) and continue to be disappointed with the lack of activity here. When there is a post that I can respond to, I need to go back and reread things, to see where we left off. What are our ideas here? Is everyone else okay with the pace this is taking? In the discussion page, it stated that a post a day should be expected, with exceptions. Should we make an effort to post more regularly, drop the campaign, or come to an agreement that one post is expected just every few days from each us?

I must say share some of your frustration, though for me it stems more from not being able to find a rhythm than the post frequency itself -- it may sound a bit silly, but I realised I am much better at posting when I know I need to post once/day, or every other day, or once a week, etc. I apologise for any part I might have played in your demotivation, btw.

In any case, I agree that it could be nice to discuss posting expectations that are more in line with everyone's available time.

My apologies for the inconsistency, neither of you are problems in posting schedule. I am open to switching to once a week, my posting ability has been suspect and it’s my fault. I’m going to update after getting a look at notes and what not.

If more people think once a week is a more appropriate then feel free to speak up. At the moment I’ll work to continue a post everyday at the moment.

Ill stick around and keep trying to keep things moving. Once a week posting will likely cause people to disappear.

I think that if we could all agree to post maybe every two days, that could keep things moving without undue stress. I'm with Bob on the 'once a week' thing. Interest would drop.

Ok then, let’s try for once every two days. With any quicker being simply a bonus.

Not that it would matter at level 2, but we don't have a rogue, do we?

Atar has the trap finder trait, which helps a fill the gap a little.

Can a swashbuckler wear chainmail without losing class features?

@GM Are you going to allow the goodberry to be fed to the unconscious Bob? Not quite the same thing as poring a potion down his throat.

No issues either way. I'm still thinking about a backup character. Will probably go either cleric or oracle.

I’m fine with him being force fed it. No need to make such a niche thing even more niche.

I agree on the healing wand. I would like for Redleaf to be our wand bearer, but it will be difficult for him to make his umd checks. Any ideas on how I can improve this skill with him?

Off the top of my head I can’t really think of any but I’ll do some reasearxh and look into it. Worst case scenario maybe we figure something out to help with it, since you guys are lacking in the magic department.

Druids can cast Cure Light Wounds, can't they?

Are you thinking of other wands we might get? Lesser Restoration or something?

Yeah, that might be an issue. Maybe I'll dip into Alchemist... I'll be a bomb throwing Dex-mutagenized Ranger. FEAR ME!

I can, and have been, casting cure (or cute) light wounds and could use the wand no problem. I would like my familiar to be able to use it instead, for better action economy though.

You could sip alchemist and have Bob start juicing, that’ll show them scary goblins!

Interesting... and having a high UMD yourself allows Brightberry to use the wand? Or am I misinterpreting what you are saying?

Anyways, High CHA and skill ranks. Skill Focus, a few other feats. I don't know of any other ways to boost UMD.

Yeah, he can use my ranks for umd with his stats. He would need umd in order to use a wand.

Sorry for the lack of update. After a pretty horrible week after a stressful last couple months and some evaluation I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m going to have to shutter the game. I’m just feeling very overwhelmed with life, and the added responsibility of guiding the game just is not something I can handle at the moment. Completely understandable, GM. Thank you for letting us know.

@Everyone, this was a good group of players that were assembled. The GM did a great job organizing us and picked an interesting adventure to guide us through.

It is unfortunate we didn't get any further, but I do hope to game with each of you in the future.
