Ranalus begins his summons, while Priscilla and Kitajo wait for new threats to emerge, and Narong climbs down the massive bookshelf. Two small mephits pour from the northwestern room. They fly up above you 20 feet in the air. They fly near and then suddenly boiling rain falls from the sky overall but Narong. Normally, you would expect to be badly burned by such a thing, but thanks to Ranalus's resist energy you just get wet.

The Satyr begins using Sleep as a SLA on the mephits, though this is a 1-round casting time.
Ranalus flies up 20' and forward 20' (as a move action, ascending at half speed accounts for the diagonal), and casts Spiritual Weapon.
A shadowy rapier appears and strikes at a mephit.

Ranalus' calls upon a fellow fey, the satyr begins to play a somnolent tune on his panpipes. Ranalus rises into the air and lands an attack with a his spiritual weapon on a mephit.
Priscilla thinks the mephits are likely servants, not slaves, so probably marginally loyal to the efreetis, but are not likely to fight to the death. She also knows that you need magical weapons to damage them (DR 5/magic), and no real special defenses, but there wounds tend to heal quickly. She then demoralize's the redish mephit who is clearly shaken.
Kitajo's rope dart attack misses, as Narong joins the battle.
The (yellow) mephit flies right for Ranalus and attempts to claw him. The claw lands but can't pierce the feyskin. While the other mephit fills the room with an obscuring mist, which extends from just feet above the floor into the air.

Kitajo flurries with his rope dart, flinging it airborne into the mist. The first is aimed well, but just misses. The second one is both on target and finds the mark. While the last is off target.

Question on Obscuring Mist: "A moderate wind (11+ mph), such as from a gust of wind spell, disperses the fog in 4 rounds. A strong wind (21+ mph) disperses the fog in 1 round." Priscilla has the ability to channel the breezes that surround her into a gust powerful enough to make a Bull Rush or Trip attempt. How strong is this wind?
Ranalus flies straight up. If he can see the mephits, he will direct the Spiritual Weapon to continue attacking Yellow. (I imagine it will automatically pursue Yellow as long as Ranalus can see the target, but I don't really know for sure.)
If he cannot see them, he will fly back down.
Would prefer to stay in initiative because the Satyr is a 9-round summon and it could be useful in some way.
Chaosorbit
|
@Ranalus -- interesting, so Breeze Kissed trait. Obviously there is nothing that says exactly how strong the wind is, it is described as a personal wind that surrounds her and once a day she can channel it into a straight line gust that can topple someone. That's pretty strong, but it very directed. So I would say it would work like Gust of Wind, a moderate wind that would full disperse it in 4 rounds.
Ranalus flies up and sees the two mephits have flown to a closed door, the spiritual weapon pursues as well.
Ranalus can attack with the spiritual weapon, and everyone is up.
