I believe there were reports that Slave Mountain was also being attacked?
Ammen will also see if the woman has anything of value and heal himself with his wand as they head over, renew heightened awaresss and recover and recast shield of faith as they get close. .

Deno'thar easily recognizes the insects as giant mosquitos. They are known, of course, for their ability to drain a human body of blood with shocking speed (Con damage) and the transmission of malaria on their bites (Con and Wis damage).
The relatively smaller giants are hill giants, dull witted brutes known for their skill at throwing and catching rocks. The lead giant is an ash giant, leprous versions that are notorious carriers for disease thanks to their immunity to such afflictions. (Con damage, Cha drain)

The mosquito gets Flynned and drops to the sand with a squish! The hill giant doesn't seem to notice the arrow pierce his flesh, his eyes bugging out of his skull.

Aericus cleaves the giant head from the hill giants shoulders, sending blood everywhere. Ammen summons aid, smashing the lead giant to the ground, then the remaining hill giant, before thumping the ash giant again! Rather than get up, the ash giant lashes out with the club from where it lays. It stares dumbfounded at the ally's invulnerability to its massive damage.

You make your way across the tapestry bridge to Round Mountain. The tremors have subsided, but you find the chasm room mostly unchanged. Aram Zey’s voice projects into the caverns via magical sending. “A force of drow is descending upon our ratfolk allies. Don’t let your guard down—I can’t shake the sense that there’s more to these drow than it seems.” While you do not encounter drow, the massive spider creeping towards you from the opposite side of the cavern seems very straightforward.Knowledge Nature to ID.
