About Ammensura Ibn Jad
Ammensura Ibn Jad, Ammen to his friends, grew up in the Lodge is Sothis. His mother is an Ulfen Pathfinder, his father she would never talk about. He was raised by whichever Pathfinders happened to be staying in the Lodge while he mother continued her field work and was always fascinated by the stories of their amazing journeys but never expected he would have any such adventures. In time he joined the Lodge as a junior researcher, archivist and librarian and would have been happy to potter about in the Libraries of Sothis amongst his beloved books.
All that changed when a group of Pathfinders returned an old, battered wayfinder to the Lodge. As he handled the object the spirit of the Pathfinder within contacted him. It was faint at first but it sparked something in Ammen. He wanted to find out who this Pathfinder was, how he or she had died, and record their name on the Wall of Names. That very day he petitioned Venture Captain Balentiir to send him to Absalom for his Confirmation and since then he has committed himself to ensuring no Pathfinder suffers the same fate as the one whose Wayfinder started him on his path.
