They are still there they just look to Urias like a translucent digital wire-frame now.
From cover, Gwen recovers the container from her haversack, slides it under the orb and pushes down on its foot pedal.
"Don't look directly into the trap!"
Gwen drops her concentration on the illusion (it is still active for 2 rounds--this one and the next).

Ironshanks makes a couple of swings but his new pace upsets his aim something awful, and he is closer to hurting the party than the creature.
Urias has no such problems, cleaving his axe through the creature. As he does so, he realises the curtains are but a figment.
Meanwhile Argenta does her best to keep Ironshanks in the fight.
Grog takes a mighty swing... but the creature twists away in a reality defying manner.
Gwen nudges the sphere into her bag. Sadly this seems to have to effect on the creature itself.

I am assuming that is to heal, but does Tatiana have Selective Channel?
Gwendolyn the Strange -CORE-

No worries. Just my Awful Neutral tendencies coming out. On average, channeling that way is still between four to six hundred percent more hp for the group as a whole than any individual monster. And it's a burst so you can sometimes screen out foes with terrain. I have clerics for whom I may never take the feat. Updated.
GM Aerondor

Tatiana heals the group of some small wounds.
Is there an FAQ that explicitly states if outsiders are affected by non-alignment channel? With that feat existing, it kind of implies that normal channel doesn't affect them. I'll go with that interpretation for the moment, but if anyone knows of a definitive reference that would be helpful.
The tornado of books, papers and bits of desk continues, moving over toward Tatiana who has the arrogance to try and undo the mental damage inflicted upon the group.
I did the wrong against Ironshanks.

Gwen draws a wand and stands ready. This turns out to be a very wise move. The creature continuing to edge toward the door, lashes out at her, Ironshanks, Grog and Yrias with its tentacles. This thing is ridiculous! Seems all my characters lately are getting owned by grappling. Some questions before I accidentally screw myself. Can you draw and drink a potion while grappled? Does it provoke an AOO from the creature grappling you? If this is safe to do so Ironshanks would drop his war axe and draw his cure serious wounds potion and consume it. He's only got 4hp left. If not he'll just have to struggle to break free I guess.
Argenta Ibn Jad

Drawing and drinking would normally both provoke unless it is in a handy haversack however you cannot take OA's while grappling so you should be fine. You might want to see if the rest of us manage to take it down. You could still full attack if you are using the axe one handed.

Its touch AC should be 2 lower if it is grappling. Your note says it is not grappled but that would normally require it to take a -20 on its grab attempt wouldn't it?.

That said, the creature itself is not grappled. I have called that out in the status bar to try and make it clear. It certainly can take AOOs even as it has Ironshanks in one of its tentacles.
@Argenta And yes, that does mean -20, and that is fine. It is why all those other grapples it has tried have failed. It has some.. special abilities.
@ironshanks, you can still attack with a one handed weapon from within a grapple, albeit at -2
Argenta fires a couple of rays into the creature. It narrows avoids the first, but with a frantic twist, Ironshanks directs it right into the the path of the second. Unlike cold, against fire this monstrosity apparently has no immunity... Nor is it dead yet. Surely it can't last much longer.
