Lavanor winces in pain from the sword attack catching him in his side. Distracted, he doesn't notice the spell being cast on him and feels weaker than usual but exceptionally quick.

Cutting the dog in two, he turns his attention to Nualia, hoping to answer her attack with one of his own.

He then steps over the dog to give Zandril room to join the fight.

The dog goes down without even a whimper. Then Zandril comes hustling down the hall to join the other two. He thrusts and catches Nualia in the side. She glows suddenly and the blood from her wounds slows. Then with a shriek of intense rage she lays into Zandril scoring a nasty cut across his chest (19 dmg).

Runt blanches at the damage Nualia just did with her bare hands. She peeks around the corner again and casts a DC 15 daze spell at her, hoping to slow her down. Inside she is relieved that there is no room for her to get into melee with the insane fanatic.

Her eagle continues its rampage, hopping, clawing, and biting...

The snowball goes wide, just barely. Then Lyrie steps away from the combatants, draws a wand and waves it at Camil. A force missile flies forth and strikes him in the chest (dmg 3).

Nualia, you really should have listened to your friend, this isn't going to end well for you... Camil says, stepping forward, and slinging his scarf about his head, his arms distend unnaturally, and his scarf shoots out, wrapping about Lyrie's ankle

If that fails, Camil will drop the bladed scarf rather than be tripped himself.

Not wanting to expose himself to an attack from Nualia while trying to attack Lyrie, Lavanor begins to circle around the woman before attacking her.

"You are surrounded, Nualia. Surrender if you want to live," he says, ready to attack her if she doesn't.

Got ahead of myself. I saw Zherxikas take his action and moved on.

Lyrie goes down, tripped by Camil. As for Nualia, she seems to have given over to an insane rage and shows no signs of surrender. Lavanor gashes Nualia horribly drawing her attention but not enough for Zandril to bypass her armor. Then Nualia shifts into a stance Lavanor and Zandril recognize as the lion sweeps the field (cleave) and attacks. She starts with Lavanor and hits him (dmg 14) with a sweeping strike and then using her momentum from the swing she cleaves into Zandril (dmg 20).

My damage last round should have been 1 less due to weakness I forgot to include. Also, looks like Zandril is at 2 hp after that last attack.

Isabella can't keep up with Nualia's damage output, but does what she can to keep people on their feet.

Amazing Isabella! It was looking a little bleak until you did that.

casts a force missile against Nulia, its an auto hit.

Zherxikas' missile hits Nualia. She is obviously significantly injured but shows no signs of giving up. As a matter of fact she has an insane smile on her face.

Runt moves over and casts another Daze spell, this time at the opponent in the corner of the room (Lyrie?).

I did not, I missed that, I will make her save twice. If by some odd chance she fails both it will roll over into her next round as well. Just checked, it does not affect her, more than four levels.

The eagle tears into Nualia (7pts dmg). Lyrie shakes her head as if clearing it and then stares menacingly at Runt. Lyrie stands (AOO from Camil) and then casts defensively. Immediately, two copies of Lyrie appear around where she stands. They all seem to intermingle and move so that it is hard to tell which one is the real wizardess.

As Lyrie stands, Camil snaps his bladed scarf out, attempting to strike her.

Seeing the spellcaster double, he again snaps his weapon toward her, trying to figure out which one is the real enemy and which is an illusion.

Zandril lunges at Nualia and stabs her in the side. "Aha!" he cries.

Hoping to end Nualia's persistent attacks, Lavanor focuses on her.

"The mother's children will feast on your bones!" Nualia screams and moves int lion sweeps the field again. This time she just misses Zandril which keeps her from setting up the follow on attack against Lavanor.

Once again, the Roll20 map is just hanging for me and I can't load in.

Isabella, You are directly behind Zandril on the map, and Nualia is due north of him, she is flanked by Camil and Lavanor, and a summoned eagle is at her back. Runt is on her southeast diagonal, and she threatens all of us it looks like. The other spellcaster is in the corner with empty squares all around her... does that help?

Runt's attack gets past Nualia's defenses and she goes down in a heap. Zherxikas hears movement coming from the stairwell from hence you came.

"Im hearing things coming from the stairwell.

"Probably the Goblins. I was hoping they did not know about the secret door. No matter. We came here to kill goblins anyway."

Nualia has dropped and Zherxikas hears others approaching from the stairwell to the west. Lyrie is still up.

Still in initiative order. Zherxikas may still take his turn and once Isabella goes we will move onto Lyrie. She of course is far outnumbered now.

The eagle moves in as does Runt to drop the final opponent. Normally she would just let the summoned creature do the work, largely for fear of getting some nasty goblin bite disease, but since this time it is a wimpy human mage, she joins in on the mage bashing.

Back from the vacation time!

With Nualia down, Isabella moves to engage the enemy magician.

Assuming I can get into a melee position.

Isabella strikes the mage causing her to cry out. Then she says between sobs, "Stop, stop, I surrender."

I'll move into the room, now that the Nualia is down again warning that there is something moving up the stairs.

I'll ready to cast a Force Missile on anything coming up the passageway.

@Zherxikas: Even though you said you were moving into the room, I see you have your token at the end of the small hall. I assume it is where you wish to be so that you have an actual good view toward the stairwell.

For her part, Lyrie says to no one in particular, "I'm going to bleed out here. Someone heal me, please. I'm going to get a potion from my belt pouch and drink it, is that ok?"

Easy there miss. Why don't you sit down before pulling anything from anywhere.... Camil suspiciously keeps an eye on the evil sorceress, and checks Nualia to see if the Teifling still has a pulse...

"I won't let you bleed out," says Isabella. She slowly lowers her falchion, then pulls out her oilcloth to wipe down the blade before slinging it back over her shoulders.

Is she taking bleed damage, or just being hyperbolic?

Lyrie appears to be exaggerating by far. As for Nualia, she has a faint pulse but you do not think she will last long.

Zandril moves down to stand with Zherxikas to see what is coming.

"No more movement. You're not dying. If you unstopper the potion I'll have no choice but to strike you unconscious," says Isabella, reluctantly drawing her falchion again.

Isabella, can you stabilize Nualia? She's fading fast, and I don't want my ham-fisted hands trying to keep her alive... Camil looks to the cleric, hoping she can do something helpful...

She says no, if you pull a potion I'll be forced to end you there lady... he glares at Lyrie, holding his bladed scarf ready for violence...

"You cover the magician, I'll take care of Nualia," says Isabella, glad for the opportunity to switch places. Once Camil takes up a guard position over the mage, Isabella moves to Nualia, drops her falchion with a loud clang, and touches her with a simple stabilize cantrip.

"She's a mess... but she'll live," says Isabella. "Though I'm at a loss for what to do about her."

Well, I couldn't move the character.. but guess I didn't press send on that note. Wanted to move up near Lavanor in the room

Zherxikas has been given control of his token and I moved him up near Lavanor.

Speaking of Lavanor, I will bot him tomorrow if no actions this evening. Probably enjoying a good extended holiday.

Seeing Zherxikas enter the room, Lavanor moves over to the doorway. "What's across the hall?" he asks turning to look at Lyrie. He waits for a response before turning his attention back to the hallway, trying to figure out a plan to deal with what he presumed were the goblins follwing them.

"It's a strange "L" shaped room." Lyrie says to Lavanor. "Beyond that is a crypt but it's haunted so we have not pushed through there yet."

"We have several goblins and at least one human who have come down the steps into the room with the columns." Zandril says to the group at large.
