Susanne yawns again and thinks for a moment...at last she shrugs (1 success diplomacy) and says
Hanna will hate me for telling her little secret, but I know that she is meeting Piersson at night.
Once Geizhals is gone, Rangnir heads for his room, hinting at Herr Flechter and Fernis to follow him.
Franz lets himself be ushered out. When the group leaves Rangnir silently signals to stop and wait, observing Herr Otto's, monetary stay then departure. He follows at Rangnir's signal toward the rooms the dwarves have been assigned. If the group arrives there and Rangnir leads them into his room, with the door shut, Franz will comment. "I assume you have news to impart as do I, by all means lead off, Herr Rangnir." He awaits the news.

Besides, that disgusting librarian? He was awfully quick to hide whatever work he was doing when I entered. And as he was willing to keep his name to himself, I would think his endeavours might bring shame to his families name. If there is more to this forræderi then a few lazy ansats, a bibliotek that has one book bound in tha hide some poor ladd or lass might hold darker secrets even...
Speaking in Khallzid Fernis says, "The man seemed not at all concerned about the rot upon his body, Disgusting wretch has the stink of Chaos about him. I'd say he is a follower of Nurgle if I were to chance a guess. Came across some them cultist before. Horrid fiends. Diseased with all manner of sickness and liking every minute of it!"
Turning to Franz he motions to be quiet and gestures over to his rack. Lifting the blanket he places the cover over his head writing on a small tablet what he had just spoken to Rangnir.

Franz listens to Rangnir's rant. At the mention of the book's bindings Franz is speechless, at first, and is about to speak when interupted by Fernis. He struggles to read what was written, then writes badly, "A book bound in human skin? Blasphemy, grounds for burning alone." After fuming for a moment Franz continues, "Odd meeting with my relative. He seemed drugged or clueless." He looks at the dwarves soberly. "I believe the houndmaster is good. He told about a dwarf smith, thought he knew something, then the smith suffered a 'breakdown', and was taken to infirmary. You should see him. Kordren from Karak Azgaraz, no disrepect but I have no clan name." Franz folds his arms protectively as he wonders how the dwarven warriors will react.
Fernis shakes his head in agreement."It'll do a dawi good ta have some kinsmen about so far from home."
Giving Suzanne another hug, Mareike says "Thanks Suzanna....Peirsson? Yuk, he's gross. Making a face, Mareike then says "Let's find your gardener.

Rangnir would at least take a look into the book to see what content lies between these blasphemic covers. Once that is done he will be eager to see the poor dwarf (that sounds a bit strange...).

@ Fernis: The book is written in a very sophisticated handwriting. Only very few pieces of information are written in Reikspiel, the whole thing (it looks like a play) is written in Classic.
You guess the author's name is Manfred von Diehl and you have one of only 50 copies (32/50). There is a seal of a bookbinder on the first page - but you guess he has only made the binding, not the cover - Gerardus Müller, Schwarzweg, Nuln.

Mareike marks her list then looks back up at the Steward. "Only the dwarves left, have you seen them since I saw you with them in the hall?"

Watching Peirsson look at Susanne, Mareike thinks Hmm, a bit of history there maybe...
She then departs, entering the manor through the kitchen, into the hall then up the stairs, listening for the dwarves.

Mareike moves upstairs but as she isn't able to locate the dwarves she wanders down again and sees Fernis enter his room. Quickly she follows him and finds the rest of the party - except Zadlu - assembled.
Hmmpf, I cannot read most of it, but it seems to be some kind of skuespil. I do not doubt the subject of the skuespil is tasteless and even dangerous, but reading into it probably will not give us insight on the problem at hand right now.
Stopping for a moment in the doorway, Mareike studies the two dwarves and lordling. She then strides in after closing the door. "What's that yer lookin' at?"
Franz whispers quietly, "A dispicably bound book, in the possession of the very creeply libriarian. I'm sure he's up to no good, indeed the only people I'm sure of are in this room and the Houndmaster Olver Gand, and Zad, of course. Have you found out anything interesting?"
"Let's see...I found Suzanna asleep on the stairs, seems her,the Lord Riccard and most of the staff have suffered this strange fatigue since the beast men attacks started, except for one, Hanna whose tiredness is due to a dalliance with the Steward. She thinks Bertoldt Granhof is affected as well, but she's not sure. " pausing to take a breath as she peeks curiously at the book " The cook is a drunk, but I'm suspicious of her... oh and I need to know what you'll have for dinner, goose or venison."

She wears a large amulet of Sigmar around her neck and the garments of a Sigmarite Sister, an order of women who consecrate themselves to the treating of wounded (warriors). You are surprised to see that her eyes are milky white - the poor woman must be blind.

Franz replies to Marieke, "If you are suspicious of the cook, I'm not sure I want to eat anything prepared by her, I was thinking venison but now I'm not sure. Do you have an idea about the food?"
On to the infirmary.
"Blessing of Sigmar upon you, Sister, I'm Franz Flechter, the new huntsman and a relative of Lord Rikkard. I present the two master masons, who can properly introduce themselves, as I don't want to embaress myself with any mispronuncations of dwarven names. They are here to see Kordren, perhaps they can help."
@Franz "I'm not sure...I was hoping for a match on food and sickness but no, I don't think the food is the culprit... only the lord and the servants are affected...unless all those not affected are part of the plot..." Mareike shakes her head "I must return, but will try to mind out more....your choices sir Dwarfs?" she says turning to the two Dowi.

Mhm...he still has this feverish dreams and only about half an hour ago Dr. Schreiber told me that I shouldn't allow anyone to see him...which is a bit strange since Kordren never had any visitors until now.
I am Rangnir Gudrunson. May your ancestors smile upon you, good woman. I am sure Dr. Schreiber would agree that being with his kin could only help to console mind and spirit your patient.

Inside the hospice four men and women you haven't seen before, with more or less grave wounds lie on cots. They are all asleep, only from behind a stained curtain you can hear someone rambling in Khazalid.
Kordren is behind the curtain.
Rangnir follows Sister Sonja. He steps to the curtain and tries to make sense of the rambling even before he touches the cloth screening the dwarves bed.

Mareike watches the cook modify the dwarves' dinner choice, then shrugs and says "They seemed set on the goose, but you must have dealt with angry dwarves before...".
She then turns, grabs a kitchen knife and begins chopping potatoes.
"Thank ya.", Fernis says as he follows Sonja. "What of these dreams, lass? Has he been saying anything of these dreams that ya can remember?"
Franz follows along to see what is up with the smith's mysterious illness. "Thank you Sister, I'm sure that it will only bring benefits."
Angry dwarves? Hah...once tonight's over, I wouldn't care much about angry dwarves anymore if I were you, heh. the cook snickers.
