That's a cool avatar--not sure if it matches your concept, but cool nonetheless.
I'm leveled up and ready to go!
Level 3:
Class Taken: Barbarian
Class Feature Gained: rage power
Hit points Gained: 1d12, +2 Con
Skill Points (3 + 2 background): acrobatics (1), intimidate (1), knowledge (engineering)(1), knowledge (history)(1), perception (1)
Favored Class Bonus add +⅓ to the bonus from the superstition rage power
Feat: to the last

Coral of Lastwall |

To The Last normally requires that you worship Gorum. I would hope that we don't have too many fights when Vlad is below 0 HP, and Coral is going to help there with Bodyguard for +4 AC. Maybe consider Furious Focus? Or Weapon Focus?
Coral:
Class taken: Fighter (Weapon Master) - do not have to select the weapon until I hit Rog2/Ftr3, but thinking of Short Sword in hopes of one day getting a Sun Blade.
General feat: Combat Reflexes
Fighter feat: Bodyguard

Saves: Fort +2
Skills: +1 Perception, +1 Disable Device, +1 Knowledge (Religion)
Background: +1 Linguistics (Draconic), +1 Appraise
FCB: +1 CMD vs Trip and Grapple

Hmm--this really fits the concept of what I'd like to do, though it's perhaps not as powerful as other things I could pick.
Vlad's deity choice may, perhaps, evolve. :)
It says he must worship a god of battle. Hopefully, I'm close enough.

Coral of Lastwall |

The feat comes from Inner Sea Gods where it says "Gorum." You must be using the d20pfsrd.
Here it is on Archives of Nethys, a site which includes all the lore-related parts of the various game options.
The choice of deity does influence a lot of other game mechanic options like traits, Prestige classes, and Deific Obediences. Personality-wise I would say Vlad is a very good fit for Vildeis, but Gorum could work too.
Obviously the GM can choose to alter any of those requirements.

Okay, I'm going to go ahead and switch out To the Last, even though I think it's pretty thematic and fits where I was trying to take Vlad.
But I'm going to take Extra Rage Power and take Reckless Abandon, which also fits pretty nicely.

If Arazni has a big part in this AP then Coral might do well to stick with the rapier.
Or as an Iomedae follower she could pick up the longsword (and put a point into Str rather than Dex at level 4).
Short Sword would give her the option for TWF.
Decisions, decisions.
Also: Coral now has shield proficiency. Shields impose their ACP on Weapon Finesse attacks, but if she had a MW buckler or light shield (or a mithral heavy shield) she could have a better AC. That is on her wish list for the future. She doesn't have a shield of any sort at the moment.

Coral of Lastwall |

I like the puzzle. I have it, but can't draw the answer.
On my phone, at Disney World, sleeping kid in one arm, waiting for my wife and older kid to get out of the Smugglers Run ride.
There's some ride-swap thing so I can go right to the front of the line and my wife takes the little guy.

Marya Ilyinichna Belova |

Have fun!
Since the action can't move forward for a few days anyways, any of y'all want to just RP a scene or something? Either at the present moment or a bit of a flashback idc. I just like character interaction and building party rapport :D

Hey all, sorry for the slow posting. I'm in pre-Christmas crazy mode, and am going on a family trip the week after Christmas. I will likely be very slow between now and New Year's.
Please bot as necessary, and everyone enjoy your Christmas!

Coral of Lastwall |

Why can't Lola counter the confusing sound of the wings?
She has Countersong and an applicable Perform skill.

Feena |

There, that should take care of adjusting for the failed save vs the gaze.
I failed the initial gaze when I moved into range in round 2, I then made the the confusion save on round 3 but did NOT make the gaze save that round (see last post) so I fled this round would have been my last of shaken and the frightened wore off.

Coral of Lastwall |

I forgot that Vlad's rage had ended. His AC would actually be 17 with Fatigued, plus 4 for Bodyguard is 21, so only 2 attacks would hit him, for 6 damage after DR. Assuming no AOO, he would be at 4 HP.
Vlad was pretty clear in the post where he was standing up that he was doing so because it had 5' stepped away.

Lola Aguilar-Vargas |

Yep, he stood up farther away. It wouldn’t have provoked. Just is weird because the token got moved when it shouldn’t have.
And drawing a weapon doesn’t provoke, but picking one up does, for reference (what Coral said).

Marya Ilyinichna Belova |

Yeah when I took my turn to heal Vlad, you had already moved the sakhil away, so Vlad was not adjacent and wouldn’t have provoked

![]() |

Hey all, I forgot to mention I'm on a quick vacation for President's Day weekend. Posting will be spotty, so feel free to bot me.

Damian Catus |

This week is extremely busy for me and next week I will be on holiday until March 11th, so please bot me if needed.

Feena |

Talk about a lucky nat 20. too bad the thing can just repeat next round even worse it could kill me on a lucky damage roll now.
It's crazy how many things want to rip her clothes off too. I don't think they'll manage much longer with the kind of damage she has been taken.

Feena |

Oh I figured as much, just think three bandied on a row is funny. A pattern has started.

Feena |

Heh, if Vlad runs her through with his javelin does that mean he's now a vampire?

Coral of Lastwall |

@Marya, sorry if I sounded pushy with the suggestion. I am frustrated at not being able to do anything myself and was looking for a potential way to turn this combat around. You have been really on top of using that trait in the past and didn't need a reminder.

Marya Ilyinichna Belova |

No worries! I appreciate it. I have any easy time remembering it now thanks to Vlad’s memorable usage of it. Damian is just too optimistic to feel the effects, I suppose haha

![]() |

You've saved me many a time with that, my friend!
I feel like this group is perfectly set to overcome my character's weaknesses. Coral defends me, Marya saves my butt again and again, plus her Inspiring Sword.
I even have some fire resistance coming on soon, which will protect me from Feena's flames. Great group!

Coral of Lastwall |

Any items possibly of use not yet added to the Loot sheet?
2nd-level of Power?
Three Feather Tokens?
Looks like the sheet hasn't been updated since sometime in the Tooth Fairy Palace. Not it!

Damian Catus |

I updated the loot sheet with items found in Kishokish's mansion. Note that I did not include the valuable holy symbols, as I didn't think that any of us would have taken them.
Also added the remaining loot from the tooth fairy palace, quite a few items there that we haven't identified yet, or are missing a value (like the gems from the puppets' eyes).
Can someone else tally up the loot we found so far in our current location?

Damian Catus |

Added the rest of the items, so the loot sheet should be up to date.
Do we know what kind of feather tokens we got? Or do we still need some identification there?

Lola Aguilar-Vargas |

That's very nice of you! I'll roll some spellcrafts here, as I'm not sure if Lola ever tried.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
If you're the loot master, could you add a silvery line for your favorite bard? :)

Feena |

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
There, since I don't think I tried either there are my rolls as well. Maybe between the two of us we can ID them all.

Marya Ilyinichna Belova |

So, looks like we got a +2 con belt! Which lucky person is getting it? I’d say it’s best to prioritize a frontliner, especially one that could use the fort save bump in addition to the HP

![]() |

Typically, I’d put twelfths forward in that, and I would benefit from it since I can fight to my negative Con plus more.
That said, I took that Mithral breastplate, which is worth a fortune. If someone else wants it, go for it.

Coral of Lastwall |

I think Coral would benefit, as she normally stays adjacent to Vlad so is also on the front lines, and has far fewer HP.
Then again if we later find a Dex-belt I'd prefer that, and give the Con belt to Vlad.
But Feena's 10 Con is worrying low. We can't count on enemies always respecting the fact that we have a front line. Maybe it should go to her.
