I was reading your AC at 24. I was looking to see if it was higher, but was not clear. I suspected they would have missed

Rising to the surface of the pool, you find yourself in a chamber bathed in red and blue flickering light. Above you, on a pedestal well above the water, is a enormous statue of an armor-clad knight cast in stone. Each of its outstretched arms ends in a massive stone gauntlet. The gauntlet on the right hand radiates a flickering red flame, while a nimbus of blue frost surrounds the gauntlet on the left hand. It is 10 feet tall and made entirely out of stone.
Menas notices that there is a seam around the waist of the statue and the arms look like they might pivot.

Taking a few moments, Jeras is able to realize that the statute was just spin and smash/slice everyone in the room. Fortunately he is skillful enough to disable the statue from doing its damage.

Opening the door, you are assaulted by the sound of howling wind. This chamber is cut in half by a gigantic pit, with only a thin ledge making up the far side. There are two exits from this chamber: one on your side and one on the other. Although you can feel a stiff breeze, the loud sound of rushing air seems to be coming from the gap.

Menas kicks a rock into the gap to see what happens. If there is no rock, he suggests someone tosses a copper instead, but he doesn't carry money, or really anything for that matter.

As they make their way past the room with the statue, Thoriel pauses a moment to boost her own courage, expecting that there may be more dangerous threats still to come.

"Jumping across an option, I wonder? Falling down the pit may not be the problem here, but rather getting blown up at force up onto the ceiling?" The elf then pulls out a copper and moves towards the pit, throwing it across the gap towards the far wall to see what happens to the small object.

Tull uses the wand of CLW for Jeras and anyone else who needs it. Cure spells are on my spell list, so no need to make UMD checks out of combat. Go ahead and make the rolls yourself but assume that you've handed the wand to me to use and then I give it back afterwards.
Then Tull moves into the room and casts Detect Magic.
He also tries to see if the wind coming from the pit is strong enough that it would blow a PC upwards.

Pulling back from attempting a similar jump that Menas just tried and failed to complete, Thoriel looks around the room for other options. "Tull, is that a door there behind you? Would you be a dear and try to open it for us. I'd...ah, do it myself but...er, how shall I put it? You're blocking the way!"
Smoked Goggles firmly placed on now, she then digs in her pack and retrieves a scroll just in case that other door isn't the answer.
