I will also try to move the crowd.

Well you post twice during my night and bot me, not fair... and we're waiting much longer...

GM Cwethan |

Sorry Styfis, that's just how the timezones and initiative lined up. I did post 6 times in that 24-hour period, so I'm trying not to keep people waiting excessively long for GM responses, but I know that doesn't make it more fun to get botted. Still - you got your guy :-)
If there are abilities or target priorities you'd like me to use in the future, please go ahead and set up a botting spoiler in your profile. If you'd prefer I just delay you, that's fine as well, just let me know.

Well it remains not fair. We waited sometimes on others you didn't bot. And all others GM wait 24 hours before to bot.

GM Cwethan |

In general, I do wait 24 hours to bot. However, in timed specials like this, if at least 12 hours have passed and I know I will be unavailable for several hours (like if I'm going to sleep), then I will bot or delay people to make certain that the table doesn't fall behind. I hope that my reasoning is clear. As per your new botting spoiler, I'll delay you in the future if necessary, but I'm hopeful that that will be a very rare occurrence.

![]() |

Styfis, timed specials are timed. And the time is Not Very Long. If you cannot post, the GM will and must bot you. If you want to be botted better, create a spoiler in your profile that has instructions for combat, role-playing, etc, but fair or not, the GM MUST keep the action going. Or else this special is going to be Very Not Fun for all of us.

![]() |

![]() |

El G, I know this. But all the others GM wait 24 hours before bot. And I notice that once somebody here hasn't post since more than 24 hours and we were waiting for.

![]() |

Sorry, I haven't noticed the same issue. I do know from much experience that waiting on anyone in a Special is a bad idea, since it moves so very quickly and the level of reward directly depends on how many encounters we get through. Plus it's more fun to experience more in this scenario. This is one of my favorites and I definitely want to see us get as much out of it as we can.
Edit: I think this is just an issue of time zones, now that I think on it. It happens sometimes that a player lives or works during a time when the GM is asleep or inactive. It's not personal and it's not intentional, but it is what it is. In the future you can ask everyone what timezone they're in and choose players/GMs based on that synchronicity. It may alleviate the issue you're seeing.

![]() |

I've played and I'm currently playing with others people from other time zones. That's a good thing that allows the PbP. I don't want to check the time zone before mustering. And it goes. I was never bot until now, as I can post at least during 4 hours a day. I think it's not a problem of time zone. Now close with this.

GM Cwethan |

I don't recall the 24-hour plus period without me moving things forward, but I do apologize for not moving us along at that point. I'm applying the same criteria for botting to everyone's characters, so that must have been the result of some unexpected unavailability on my part. If you (or anyone else) have any other questions about my botting/delaying policy, I'd appreciate it if you could move them to Discussion or PM so we can keep Gameplay a little cleaner. Thanks!
So only one action, but she'd get a free chance to escape.
