Hanako as well. But forums were a little buggy yesterday I had to submit post twice
Piotr Tataru
I thought they were not up yet? 'Hanako, Garrosh and Kilarra up, slide 14'
GM Mort
Earlier with Kilarra
"The last time I heard the punishment for stealing was a few lashes administered by the constables."Winter replies, peeved. "And the right way would be to haul the thief to a constable not beat him up yourself. That would fall under assault. And I have no idea what blue robed guy you're talking about."
Sorry for mixing up, too long post
The ghost, since Kilarra has so kindly offered herself right in front, decided to drain her instead, and Kilarra feels her vitality being sapped by this supernatural horror.
touch: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
dmg: 7d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 4, 4, 6, 5, 5) = 32
Kilarra Fort: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
"Mmmm," The ghost seems to gain strength from the stolen life force, "It seems you have secrets too, my dear."
32 dmg to Kilarra
Winter brandishes her holy symbol at the ghost as she commands, "In Pharasma's name, Begone!"
Channel energy: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 4) = 7
ghost will: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
winter's burst of grey energy seems to weaken the ghost slightly. 9 dmg done to the ghost, party up
Piotr Tataru
piotr attack, pa, ic: 1d20 + 10 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 10 - 2 + 2 = 16 magic longsword

ann slam: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 8 + 2 = 15
damage: 1d8 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 1 + 2 = 10
Piotr and his incorporeal sister slip past Kilarra to try and put the ghost to rest, violently. Or at least they try.
Garrosh Saurfang
I would have buffed before we engaged the big bad ghost. Next time I will retcon it... :P
Garrosh calls for Ragathiel's divine intervention to aid him in combat.
Casting Divine Favor.
Baldhart the Warrior-Fairy
Baldhart cannot help at either size. She senses Hanako’s desire for her to fly far from the ghost’s reach. But the fairy hovers.
Readied action: 60’ fly away if ghost tries to touch the fairy
華子: Hanako
Hanako can attack, but Kilarra is seriously hurt. If she is not worried about falling, she can do more damage than I.
I’m a lackluster ghostbuster
You are the muscle here
I’ll keep you standing – just
Finish him – hustle, dear!
CMW: 2d8 + 6 ⇒ (2, 3) + 6 = 11
Lackluster healing rolls.
Better than nothing?
GM Mort
The ghost dodges out of the way of Piotr's sword swings and Ann's spectral daggers.
Kilarra Dimir
Earlier
Kilarra doesn't bother with Winter and just marches off
----------------------
Kilarra takes the healing with a sigh of relief, then steps in to strike. "I'll smite you down, ghost!"
Greatsword: 1d20 + 8 + 4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 8 + 4 + 2 + 1 = 18
Pwr, smite, inspire, divine bond
Dmg: 2d6 + 12 + 10 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3, 3) + 12 + 10 + 2 + 1 = 31

Smite doesn't double dmg on second strike, so just 5
AC (and touch AC) currently 23AC/15TAC
GM Mort
Kilarra's golden blade shears into the ghost's insubtantial form, but the ghost dodges out of the way of her 2nd strike. Sorry but smite is still half damage to incorporeals, 24 damage done
The ghost continues draining Kilarra's lifeforce. "Oooh you're a tough lady...just like someone I knew..."
touch: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
dmg: 7d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 3, 1, 3, 5, 2) = 19
Kilarra fort: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
19 more damage to Kilarra
Winter, seeing the party unable to hit the ghost properly, casts bless on the entire party.
Party up
華子: Hanako
Hanako again ignores her active attack spell. I will unlearn Biting Words at Lv.8.
She sings the healing song, inspiring her allies with the sound of her viol!
+2 IC
Your enemy’s
Lost in his memories
How dare he compare you
As he tries to impair you
Let’s put him to rest
This vindictive pest
My song’ll guide your blade
As you run it through this shade!
CMW: 2d8 + 6 ⇒ (7, 7) + 6 = 20
Undid the damage—a net gain of 1 HP!
Baldhart the Warrior-Fairy
Baldhart sings and dances in the air. She hopes harmonizing will help the giants stop missing!
Piotr Tataru
The sibling continue to try to work together to put the ghost to rest. With only marginal success.

Kilarra Dimir
Smite doesn't do anything against incorporeal. It's actually my divine bond that's creating the magical effect. But yes still half damage.
Kilarra was trying to keep it together, but between the ongoing yoyo of damage and healing, and the ghost's constant yammering, she gets ticked off and rages. "Just f%!$ing die, b!$@&!" She bellows

My TAC against the ghost is now 12
GM Mort
Piotr's longsword misses by.. Quite a lot, but Ann's spectral daggers stab into the ghosts insubstantial form. Kilarra rages as she cuts into the ghost the first time, with the ghost dodging the back swing. The ghost seems rather wispy now, as all the party's attacks take their toll.
52 damage done to ghost
Inspire courage is +2, so will add to Ann's damage
Piotr Tataru
copy and paste error, sorry Mort!
Garrosh Saurfang
Garrosh lets fly two arrows in quick succession.
#1 Composite Longbow +1: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32
Damage if it hits: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
Can this guy even be critted?: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (14) + 12 = 26
Additional damage if he can: 2d8 + 8 + 8 ⇒ (5, 4) + 8 + 8 = 25
#2 Composite Longbow +1: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29
Damage if it hits: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
GM Mort
You can't crit incorps. Unless you're incorporeal yourself or you have ghost touch weapons.
Garrosh sends two arrows through the translucent figure as it gives a rasping sigh, "Nemira, may we meet on the other side..."
Searchibg the area, Garrosh realizes a portion of the wall looks sealed up with stone blocks and plastered over long ago. It is possible to break through the plaster.
Baldhart the Warrior-Fairy
Baldhart grows and flies at the wall shoulder-first!
“GGGGG-G-R-R-RMMM!!”
STR: Break Wall!: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21
GM Mort
Baldhart manages to ram through the plastered portion of the wall! But her shoulder is looking bruised.
Huddled in the middle of the floor, next to a bench lies a dessicated corpse is dressed only in a ragged loincloth having undergone a process of natural mummification. The most recognizable features of the corpse are several large tattoos on the torso and thighs, mostly depicting abstract, swirling monstrosities with too many eyes and too many mouths.
Garrosh Saurfang
"Poor soul" - Garrosh steps inside, looking around the room - "Why was he walled in here?"
Perception to calmly search the area for clues (Take 20)?: 20 + 11 = 31
Kilarra Dimir
Reminds me of immurement, being walled up alive to die of starvation.
Kilarra waits as she recovers from fatigue
Piotr Tataru
Ann looks on grimly, feeling suddenly glad to be tied to her brother's mind instead of being trapped behind a wall. Piotr waits to see what Garrosh finds before starting the process of moving the body for burial.
GM Mort
Garrosh has a hunch that Kilarra is right and as he searches the prison cell, he finds a scarlet and blue sphere that is magical.
Piotr spellcraft: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24
Sorry Piotr was the only one who could have made the check and the roll wasn't good enough.
"We'll need to perform the last rites and bury the body so that his ghost doesn't come back."Winter states. "We can bring the body back to New Chapel, or bury him here."
Piotr Tataru
"Seems like this place might be a source of pain for him. So I'd suggest New Chapel." Piotr will get busy preparing the body for transfer to where ever Winter points him to.
Garrosh Saurfang
Could I perhaps aid the Spellcraft Mort?: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
"Agreed with Piotr. This is a place of suffering, we need to take him away from it"
Kilarra Dimir
Kilarra relaxes as her wounds mend. "We don't have anymore business here, I don't think, so might as well haul em to the chapel."
華子: Hanako
Hanako is rubbing Baldhart’s shoulder. “Yes, I did think you looked dashing. But knocking a wall with a sledgehammer down not result in a purple shoulder.
“Well, your shoulder. Both of mine would be purple from swinging such a heavy, clumsy thing.”
Baldhart the Warrior-Fairy
When it’s time to move, Baldhart will offer to help move the body.
“G-r-r-g-gg.”
Piotr Tataru
"I got it, Baldhart, but thank ya for the offer" Piotr declines politely.
Baldhart the Warrior-Fairy
Baldhart nods. Then she turns to Hanako with that ‘carry-me’ look a small child might give.
GM Mort
With Garrosh's aid and Winter's guidance, Piotr identifies the stone as a scarlet and blue sphere. +2 int, the skill keyed to it is fly
The party returns to New Chapel with the body wrapped up in the bag of holding. Winter directs the party to dig a new grave at cemetery at the back of New Chapel and to place the body in.
Winter goes to the body utters an invocation , "Your time in Golarion is up. As a Priestess of Pharasma, I abjure thy presence on Golarion, command thy soul to face Pharasma's judgement and bother the living no longer. " She then takes out some salt from her pouch and sprinkles it over the body before the party throws the earth on. In addition, she takes out an oyster shell, puts a small bundle of sage on it, then lights it. After the sage has been burned to ashes, she pours the ashes on the grave.
"It is done."She says with finality once the ritual is over.
Baldhart the Warrior-Fairy
Baldhart remains big when she realizes she gets to use a shovel!
Burying the dead giant is sad, but his ghost was very dangerous. She thinks Winter is doing the right thing, and she thinks shoveling makes her dirty and sweaty and gross.
She shows Hanako how dirty and sweaty and gross she is. And the shovel is dirty too.
華子: Hanako
Hanako plays her viol. The melody is solemn, but just the same, her magic cleans everyone of the stenches of battle and manual labor.
She cleans the shovel too, because she can’t come up with a good reason not to.
Prestidigitation to clean all party members and Winter.
Kilarra Dimir
Kilarra watches the ritual take place, relatively unenthusiastic. When it's all wrapped up, she says "Right, so now we head to the... ... you know where. It's the place where the guy lived."
Kilarra Dimir
"You know who. The one who did some brainwipe thing to us. The guy who runs this place. I know who he is, but his name... it's on the tip of my tongue."
Piotr Tataru
"Lowl" Piotr says with a rumbling anger in his voice.
Kilarra Dimir
1 person marked this as a favorite.
"That's the b#$!@!" Kilarra exclaims. "Alright. We got enough time to go to the hill?"
I mentioned this a while back, but this is a thing, a character trait, that my dad does to no end. He can't remember names, places, or anything like that, unless he uses them very frequently. So he talks to me about the guy in the movie who did something. He'll talk about all the crazy things this guy did in the movie, but if I ask what the movie is called, or who the protagonist is, he has no idea. And that's if he doesn't start talking about a second movie without telling me!
Drives. Me. Up. The. Wall.
I figured if I was going to roleplay 7 Charisma, this was one of the ways to do it.
GM Mort
"Yes that was what Accuser Omari was investigating before her demise."Winter says darkly. "He has a lot to answer for."
Kilarra, thats fine, so your party can pick up on the memory of a goldfish thing.
The party heads toward Iris Hill going up the hill the party finds a massive hedge surrounding the grounds and a squat gatehouse standing as the only passage through it. Breaking the thick hedge that surrounds the estate, this squat building sports a pair of heavy wooden doors bearing a small sliding hatch.
Slide 14
What party wanna do?
Piotr Tataru
"We should knock... in case this place isn't infested with zombies. Baldhart, would you mind flying up and do a once over quickly and quietly from high up to see if anything is moving about up there?" Piotr suggests/asks.
Baldhart the Warrior-Fairy
Baldhart flashes a very, very subtle shade of green and whispers, “ding.”
She then flies up and peers over the wall to see if anyone or anything awaits on the other side.
Stealthy Flight: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (15) + 24 = 39
Perception from a Fairy’s Eye View: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30
She’ll continue along the perimeter, circling the entire estate if she sees nothing suspicious.
Kilarra Dimir
Do I understand correctly that the hedge can be hacked through?
GM Mort
If you so want to you can hack through the hedge.
The grounds are empty but Baldhart notices some moving bushes in the hedge.
Baldhart the Warrior-Fairy
Baldhart lands in Hanako’s open palms. She points to a shrubbery and tiptoes around Hanako’s hands with a sinister expression, holding an arrow like she wants to stab somebody with it.
華子: Hanako
Hanako nods.
She holds Baldhart as she whispers to Piotr, “Movement in the hedge. Not sure if it’s an enemy or an innocent or an animal. But I can get a closer look as a fox.”
