The party heads back towards Fort Hailcourse, but as they pass near some woods, a shambling twisted corpse lumbers out of the woods, its eyes glowing with red malevolence and its claws outstretched. "Kilarra," it growls, "I've finally found you...vengeance is mine, at last."

Hanako sees how little damage Garrosh’s arrow does, which means the bow in her hand is the correct one: the bow that plays the viol!

“This situation calls for a song,” she says as she begins a rather mysterious tune, playing the lowest octave her instrument can reach. She’d love to make this a dig and add, ‘a song that makes other people do the fighting for me,’ but that doesn’t rhyme. So she completes her intro: “A magical song that bolsters the strong!”

She sings in a sultry whisper,

Who can imagine
The lurker’s thinking?
Feet up, a smirk
A champagne glass clinking
He got his big wish
And caught his big fish
Revenge is a dish
Served sliced

The bloodlust is clouding

He hones on his target
Ignoring defenses
Too slow to attack

Let’s hack him ’til he’s
Dead twice

She then takes out some salt from her pouch and sprinkles it over the body before the party reburies the creature.

Kilarra only:

Kilarra starts putting more rocks on the grave, she has a flash of memory of her pummeling a vagrant, that looked somewhat like the creature she slew earlier. In that memory, she was yelling at the vagrant, ”I’ll teach you to steal from Count Lowl’s kitchen, you filthy thief!” As the vagrant collapsed on the ground, a thin young man with dark sunken eyes in a dark blue robe was encouraging her, ”Yes, these commoners need to be shown their place. And our master should not be slighted, thus.” In response to being egged on, she kicked the downed man a few more times with her hooves.

The party returns to Fort Hailcourse without further incident.”Garrosh, you were saying you didn’t have a magical bow?” Winter casts magic weapon on Garrosh’s bow.

Garrosh identifies the creature the ghost of Clymes Prett, a occult bookshop owner that was rumored to have an affair with Count Lowl's mother - but he disappeared about 20 years ago - just a year before Count Lowl's mother died in her sleep. Ghosts are incorporeal.

An incorporeal creature has no physical body. It can be harmed only by other incorporeal creatures, magic weapons or creatures that strike as magic weapons, and spells, spell-like abilities, or supernatural abilities. It is immune to all nonmagical attack forms. Even when hit by spells or magic weapons, it takes only half damage from a corporeal source (except for channel energy). Although it is not a magical attack, holy water can affect incorporeal undead. Corporeal spells and effects that do not cause damage only have a 50% chance of affecting an incorporeal creature. Force spells and effects, such as from a magic missile, affect an incorporeal creature normally.

An incorporeal creature has no natural armor bonus but has a deflection bonus equal to its Charisma bonus (always at least +1, even if the creature’s Charisma score does not normally provide a bonus).

An incorporeal creature can enter or pass through solid objects, but must remain adjacent to the object’s exterior, and so cannot pass entirely through an object whose space is larger than its own. It can sense the presence of creatures or objects within a square adjacent to its current location, but enemies have total concealment (50% miss chance) from an incorporeal creature that is inside an object. In order to see beyond the object it is in and attack normally, the incorporeal creature must emerge. An incorporeal creature inside an object has total cover, but when it attacks a creature outside the object it only has cover, so a creature outside with a readied action could strike at it as it attacks. An incorporeal creature cannot pass through a force effect.

An incorporeal creature’s attacks pass through (ignore) natural armor, armor, and shields, although deflection bonuses and force effects (such as mage armor) work normally against it. Incorporeal creatures pass through and operate in water as easily as they do in air. Incorporeal creatures cannot fall or take falling damage. Incorporeal creatures cannot make trip or grapple attacks, nor can they be tripped or grappled. In fact, they cannot take any physical action that would move or manipulate an opponent or its equipment, nor are they subject to such actions. Incorporeal creatures have no weight and do not set off traps that are triggered by weight.

An incorporeal creature moves silently and cannot be heard with Perception checks if it doesn’t wish to be. It has no Strength score, so its Dexterity modifier applies to its melee attacks, ranged attacks, and CMB. Nonvisual senses, such as scent and blindsight, are either ineffective or only partly effective with regard to incorporeal creatures. Incorporeal creatures have an innate sense of direction and can move at full speed even when they cannot see.

Garrosh also knows that ghosts have telekinesis, and can throw at the party if they so choose.

The ghost can use telekinesis as a standard action once every 1d4 rounds (caster level 12th or equal to the ghost’s HD, whichever is higher).

Hanako soon accompanies the fairy’s performance on viol…

Then she sings,
I’ve been thinking
’Bout you all night
And the girl you hurt
She’s a friend of mine

You wanted her back
Well, now she’s here
But be careful what
You wish for, dear

Kilarra's recollection is not subtle. She starts screaming at the rock pile while pummeling it with the stone in her hands.
"I’ll teach you to steal from Count Lowl’s kitchen, you filthy thief!" She bellows before jumping on the pile and scattering the stones. Then the rage subsides, and she heaves while grasping her head. In a much smaller voice, she says
"What the f!@@?"
I'll expend a round of rage for that one

Now with the ghost, Kilarra moves to the front, and points her greatsword at the ghost, causing the sword to erupt in holy flames.

Garrosh stares as Kilarra goes on her tirade, then approaches slowly - "Klarra? Are you ok? What happened?"

Kilarra I think we are on slide 13?

"Thank you Winter - that will be a great help"

Does Baldhart actually occupy a square? If not, then I want to move to that spot.

Garrosh steps forward behind Piotr, and unleashes an arrow at the terrifying creature.

Longbow, Magical: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (14) + 12 = 26
Damage if it hits: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

Sorry slide 13. My bad, I'm stuck on phone posting ><

Earlier

"Kilarra! Get a hold of yourself!" Winter scolds Kilarra for her disrespectful behaviour to the dead. As Kilarra starts heaving and grasping her head, Winter looks at her disapprovingly, "What, may I ask, were you doing jumping up and down on a grave?"

Garrosh's arrow sticks into the ghosts torso. 3 dmg done

Kilarra gives Winter a stink eye. "I was busy killing him for stealing from Count Lowl's kitchen. The blue robed guy approved of it."

Just Piotr and Ann now, right?
