A voice comes down to the Dragon.
"Tell me Wormwood are you starting to feel fear yet? We have brought such delights to for your flesh and soul."

| Wormwood of Mercury |
The Fox is not quick enough, and the terrible flames cover him--but the ward from Flamel's potion holds true the entire gout!
Like Johann, 2 points left in my protection from fire. The Fox drinks his potion of haste (provoking an attack of opportunity, assuming I'm within Wormwood's natural reach) and then speedily assumes a new position to flank the terrible dragon (probably provoking another AoO for that movement--my AC against that will be 34 instead of 30 because of Mobility).
With haste, my speed is 90 feet, so I should be able to get to whatever spot would be hardest for others to reach to set up flanking. MJ, maybe you can let us know who among us should get flanking bonuses from positioning now?
AoO on Ogon Fox as he quickly quaffs his potion of haste... Bite 1d20 + 35 ⇒ (3) + 35 = 38 deals 4d6 + 21 ⇒ (6, 3, 5, 6) + 21 = 41 damage! Wormwood snaps his monstrous jaws down on Ogon Fox, piercing the kitsune's left shoulder with dagger-like fangs!
Wormwood's evil gaze follows Ogon Fox as he swiftly darts behind the dragon's left haunch, but the nimble kitsune is too fast for the wyrm to land another attack of opportunity...
Fortunately for the party, Wormwood does not have the Combat Reflexes feat, as his Dex is nothing to write home about...

Bluff
Speaking of fear, unless you are immune to fear effects or within 10 feet of Sir Alphonse, the dragon has a frightful presence out to 300 feet, Will DC 27 or frightened...
Wormwood flares up at Lord Perpireen, his keen dragon senses perceiving even invisible sprites... Sense Motive 1d20 + 33 ⇒ (5) + 33 = 38 fails to detect Lord Perpireen's bluff! Still, the dragon puts on a show of bravado:
IT IS YOU THAT SHOULD BE AFRAID, LORD OF SPRITES!! I WILL MAKE A RIGHT BLOODY GOOD MEAL OF YOUR FRIENDS, AND FINISH WITH YOU FOR DESSERT!!

Johann turns into a bat and starts right after it!
He will move 60 ft. If this is a chase scene, are you going to track our relative distances MJ?
Yes, a chase scene sounds fun. I have Wormwood at 60 feet altitude, actually, with a single fly move, as he is hampered (half speed) AND ascending straight up (half again), instead of 250 ft up. So Johann catches up to him in ROUND 2...
BTW, Johann, can you shift as a swift or quick action? Otherwise, remember that ascending straight up flying is at half speed, so if your normal fly speed is 60 ft., you can fly 30 ft. straight up as a single move.

Breath weapon deals 20d10 fire damage to Johann, Ihrin, and Ogon Fox, Reflex DC 30 for half...
I forgot to mention that an ancient red dragon's breath weapon usually melts stone, turning it into magma. Not wanting to melt his treasure hoard, Wormwood has had a special modified contingency that casts a special modified protection from fire spell on his treasure hoard as soon as it would otherwise take fire damage...

As the Mighty Ones raise their magic weapons (or open giant bat jaws wide) to deliver simultaneous coups de gracé to the helpless Dragon of Revelation, a colossal, sulfurous black cloud belches ominously from the moat of lava encircling them, and conceals the gargantuan red dragon in its billowy vapors!
The Mighty Ones' attacks strike the empty blackness as cruel, inhuman laughter, more akin to mocking croaks from Hell than laughter, echoes throughout the bowels of the volcano!
In the blinking of their dismayed eyes, the Mighty Ones behold the swift dissipation of the black cloud...
