Nineteen days in the future, Sultan Murad II and Queen Semiramis are frustrated in their attempts to teleport aboard the Black Pyramid of Kronos and wrest control of it from the Rabbi, and sorely vexed when the massive artifact vanishes from the clearing north of Kiev... The Sultan commands his scouts to spread out and search for the Pyramid...

In Aramaic to Murad: It could be anywhere in time and space, my love... It is futile to seek it with the eyes of mortal scouts... Let us return to my sanctuary and seek it by other means! I shall commune with Dagon, and ask the demonlord of the Abyssal Seas where we might find the Black Pyramid!

The immortal dark elf Queen of the Assyrian Empire takes the Sultan's hand and casts teleport to whisk them away to her secret sanctuary in the ruins of ancient Babylon...

At the same time that the Sultan of the Ottoman Turks and the Queen of the long-gone Assyrian Empire are seeking the Black Pyramid by magical communion with the demonlord Dagon, Cardinal Lucius D'Borja is investigating the Church of Lucifer with a new band of stalwart servants of the Church.

Lucius' nephew, Rodrigo D'Borja, a young paladin of Saint Michael, has received his uncle's summons in Seville, and has departed aboard a Spanish caravel for Rome.

Although hunting down the Antichrist and any members of the Church of Lucifer that can be found is still the cardinal's primary objective, the spectre of the Black Pyramid of Kronos, and the obvious hold it has over his former companions, weighs heavily on him...

At the same moment the Champions are engaged in battle against the trio of oriental monsters, a meteor plummets through the firmament toward Earth, where it will fall into the Sea of Japan at 9:00 tomorrow morning, causing devastating tsunami and tidal waves to flood the coasts of Asia, and awakening Gojira, King of Kaiju, from centuries of hibernation on the seabed...

It is appropriate that post #666 be from me, Nero Antichrist, The Beast of Armageddon! MUAHAHAHAHA!!

In his secret stronghold under the Roman Catacombs, Nero communes with his evil father, the Fallen One, Lucifer, also known as Satan, and learns that the Black Pyramid of Kronos has had the very effect the Archdevil had hoped for... The Champions have been divided over the potent artifact!
