Bythos Aeon |

The violation of the eternal Codex Tempus (Laws of Time) does not sit well with the immortal bythos aeons of the Plane of Concordant Opposition. They cannot allow mortals to abuse the Black Pyramid by traveling backwards in Time, to the Past, a thing which is forbidden by Yahweh and other lawful deities...
One of their number has gone in search of the offenders, tracking their locations in the TimeSpace continuum of the Prime Material Plane with an innate instinct possessed only by the Time Aeons...
Having located The Rabbi and the Black Pyramid, the bythos aeon summons a second of its kind, and the two quickly incapacitate the Rabbi with temporal stasis attacks, wrest control of the Black Pyramid, and pilot it (along with the time-stopped Rabbi) into the heart of the sun!
The Pyramid and its mortal passengers are destroyed (the aeons evacuate prior to collision with the sun)! A chunk of the artifact flies away from the sun... toward Earth... becoming the meteor that lands on January 9th at 9 AM in the Sea of Japan...
The bythos aeons then turn to the others who have violated the Codex Tempus... They were not as guilty as the pilot, but they were still in violation of the divine laws of the Multiverse, which no being can be suffered to break!
They find these others on Honshu Island, cremating their fallen friend Zagathoth on a hastily cobbled funeral pyre, since they cannot grant at this time a proper Christian burial for the baptized orc...
Six bythos aeons arrive, one for each of the violators! Over the next two week's time, each bythos slams one of the six adventurers out of the Timestream, over and over again, keeping the adventurers in temporal stasis for the next fifteen days and nights!
The blows are nonlethal, fortunately, but they are enough to keep the Champions out of the Timestream for over two weeks, finally freeing them to come to and reenter the Timestream on the morning of Wednesday, 23rd January, at nine o' clock...
Apologies for this heavy handed railroad, everyone, but I feel it needs to happen for story purposes...
