The Ogon Fox
Do not trouble yourself, my darling! Oh! No! Please, do not...
Driven by her own fearful curiosity, perhaps, jorogumo makes no move to stop Fox San from peeking out the window...
"It cannot be...is that Johann?! And the others, how did they get here?!"
Frantically, the Fox tries to get the window open so he can shout to his friend, the Bear.
I don't know if it's easily opened...or perhaps I should roll my first unarmed strike?

The lanterns crash into the underworld imperial dragon's temples, knocking it senseless! Its long, serpentine body flops about and it snores loudly...
ZZZZZZZZ ZZZZZZZZ ZZZZZZZZZ!!
Signor Pusinboots
PusInBoots winks at Lord Perpireen.
Jolly good show, Lord Perpireen! Excellent timing, as always!
Turning to Johann, and skipping jauntily down the scaley coils of the unconscious dragon to clap his big friend on the haunches...
My drinking companion, Johann! In full bear form and fury, I see! I'm glad this dragon did not singe off all of your fur... That bare streak down your back looks, um... stylish! Si, very chic!
Looking around for Ogon Fox, he inquires: Where's our friend the Fox at? I do not see him here... But wait! Look there! Up, at the highest window there in the castle! Is that not Monsieur Fox!?
Jorogumo of the Palace Gardens
Up in the jorogumo's mating chamber, the jorogumo grows agitated as her intended mate continues to ignore her to look out the window at the battle unfolding below...
She puts down her harp and casts suggestion on the kitsune...
Will DC 20 resists...
Silly boy! Why don't you just come over here and make love to me!
She removes her kimono, revealing the curvy, womanly body of a Japanese woman in her twenties...

Johann turns back into his normal self. "My good friend Signor Pusinboots! Your timing. Quite impeccable, chum! Quite nice! Your blade is always welcome here. Quickly, let me introduce you to the others."
Johann happily introduces all to Pusinboots, but then wants to push forward. "The Fox is still waiting for us, still needs us! Forward friends! Uh...after maybe a quick healing spell or five?"

PusInBoots spies the young Japanese man approaching the Flower Palace (Abe no Toshiro).
Now, who's this chap? He's got a determined look upon his mug, he does!
To Abe no Toshiro: Kon'nichiwa! Nani ga anata o shiro e to fumidashite genwaku sa semasu ka?
Abe no Toshiro
Toshiro looks faintly surprised to see a whole group of foreigners standing around the unconscious body of a dragon.
"Watashi wa kami ni eraba reta Abe no Toshirōda! Shōgun no oikoshi no yōna kōhai o kikkake ni shite, shōgun no dokusai-teki shihai wa watashitachi no min o appaku suru ni wa ikisugite ita. "But this is known among my people. It may be more important to ask why a bunch of foreigners has shown up so unexpectedly, and laid hands on a dragon, yes?"
Algoral
Algoral flies over to Johann and begins to tap on him with a wand in a rather complicated rhythm.

guards the gate. We must quickly hop on the wagon!
Lord Perpireen McGibel
Lord P waves a hand as he flys around he sleeping Dragon.
"You are wounder full, I know my king will be more than happy to find a place for you in the land of myths. Now lets me get this spell right."
HE works a complicated spell that opens a door to the Bright ways.
"Algoral, give me a hand we need to let him sink in"
The door comes into being under the dragon and slowly he sinks from view.
Michael Johnson 66
The entrance hall seems to have been this large underworld imperial dragon's lair. Accessed by a short flight of wooden steps that ascend the mortared stone foundation of the castle to an open square doorway in the wood-and-ricepaper first story.
The interior is lit by paper lanterns hung from the rafters some 20 feet above the wooden plank floor.
To the north, another flight of wooden stairs ascends to the first floor proper. Marked B on the Ghost Tower Adventure Map, ascending to a hall marked C on the map...
Heaped up behind the stairs to the first floor proper is the underworld imperial dragon's hoard!
Underworld Imperial Dragon's Hoard:
406 platinum tael
3,018 gold yen
5 fire opals worth 1,000 gp each
3 black pearls worth 500 gp each
9 white pearls worth 100 gp each
Silver and carnelian necklace worth 1,350 gp
Fukushū, +1 keen katana

slaps her hands together to get the dust off.
"Thank you Algoral, another safely tucked away. So what next? and who is that girl?"
Mwikali
"I must inquire later where all your pets go Lord P"She says tossing the sword to Ihrin."Learn to use that" she said a bit with a b*&$+y tone as she then turned to walk into the tower proper.
"Come the Fox awaits"
Ihrin Ardlean Dracul
Ihrin was shaken to the core her body still felt the goosebumps from the dragons presence. She walked back in to help put away the goods from the dragon being whisked magically away. As she does Mwikali thrusts a sword at her and told her to use it!
"Uh..sure" she stumbles still reeling from the dragon fear. After a bit she regains her self and scowls, hating the fact she was so shaken in battle.

Once introductions have been made, and Abe no Toshiro has joined the party to overthrow the evil Ashikaga Yoshinori Shogun:
Ascending the stairs into the castle entrance hall, the adventurers spot the underworld imperial dragon's hoard piled up behind another short flight of wooden stairs ascending to a hall on the ground floor proper. Oriental coins of platinum and gold, with pearls interspersed, and an ornate katana sword in a jeweled ebony scabbard...
See the list of treasure posted above...
After collecting all the treasure in a bag of holding and Rumplestilskin's Rucksack, the adventurers ascend the stairs up to the hall on the ground floor. (Marked C on the Ghost Tower Adventure Map.)
Mwikali
"Abe was it, we come to rescue a friend. If that means we must topple this diamyo or what not then so be it." she says looking over the youth. Oddly she wants to reach out and touch the boys face it's strange how was fascinating. As were manus here. More importantly something about this boy intrigued her.
Her hand gets up and almost to his face before she pulls it back,"You seem touched...I mean concerned about your peoples plight. I admire that my people too are subjugated, Granted it is not our goal, but if it helps us rid Fox of his bounty then by all means we shall aid you" she says in Japanese turning away and conversing with Kiku.

Weakened by the jorogumo's poison and under the sway of her enchantments, Toshio gives way to his bodily passion and acquiesces, moving swiftly into her embrace.| Abe no Toshiro |
Abe frowns as the gaijin begin speaking languages he does not know. He speaks calmly into the air.
"Dō ka watashi no mimi o karera no kotoba ni, karera no kotoba o watashi no mono ni magete kudasai."
When next he speaks, the words come out in your own languages, perfectly accented, though stiff and formal.
Casting Tongues.
He frowns further at what he then hears.
"Girl? Excuse me? Why do you come to my land to insult me?" he shakes his head.
"Let us continue with a minimum of rudeness, please. We must dispatch the shogun before he does more harm to my people."
Mwikali
I have been speaking in Japanese, just was on the phone which made it hard to do the translation back and forth
"Sore ga watashi ga itte iru kotodesu..." She says looking at the boy her face leaning in to look at his face before leaning back."Sumimasen, watashitachiha yūjin o sukuu koto o kakujitsu ni suru hitsuyō ga arimasu, kare wa fokkusumandesu. Giggling in back ground.
"But we are spirits of another sort, I with the morning's love have oft made sport"
Comes a voice from the air.

After introductions are made beteeen young Abe no Toshiro and the others, and after looting the dragon's hoard, the adventurers proceed up the second short flight of wooden steps (from area A, to B, to the long hallway at C)...
This hallway is lit by paper lanterns hung from hooks in the wooden rafters (20 feet overhead)...
Fearsome, demonic masks are hung on the walls, six on each side, twelve in all...
As soon as Johann leads the way into the hallway, the twelve demonic "masks" begin to fly off the walls and cackle hideously!
The dozen "masks" are actually spirit oni!

Young Toshiro knows that ogre mages are native outsider oni spirits that are indigenous to the Asian lands. He knows they are shapeshifters that delight in usurping positions of power in mortal communities and imposing their tyranny on their hapless subjects, whom they consider slaves and chattel. He knows they can use a variety of spell-like powers, including (obviously from this encounter) fly, invisibility, disguise self, and cone of cold...
