Hello everyone and welcome to The Confirmation. I have a few requests of you before we get started.
Please make sure you status bar is updated with your basic details: HP, AC, Saves, Init bonus, Perc bonus, and any active effects I should know about.
Please make sure your profile is up to date with your latest character sheet. I would appreciate any botting instructions there as well, should the need arise.
Please navigate to the Character Details spreadsheet in the header. The yellow fields are for you to fill out. This will make chronicles easier to build and generate some rolling blocks for me.
I expect a post per day and one over the weekend. If you have real-life stuff happens that keeps you from committing to this cadence, please let me know via Discussion or PM.
In this discussion thread please describe any mechanic or tactic I should know about: i.e. reach, immunity to X, mounts, familiars, etc. Also give me your day job roll here and drop the gold into the Character Details sheet up top.
We will begin shortly.

Player GM PDK
Character Princess Mindy
PFS # 4456-17
Faction Sovereign Court
Day Job N/A
=======================================================
TACTICS
(all under alias - reproduced here as per your request)
=======================================================
Each morning Princess Mindy empowers her implements as per the following: (total 6 points of mental focus)
-Conjuration implement: 4 points (resonant power irrelevant)
-Evocation implement: 2 points (resonant power: + 1 dmg for damaging evocation spells that have an instantaneous duration or focus powers with an instantaneous duration)
Upon encountering opposition, she casts summon monster I as a standard action using 1 of the 4 points stored in her conjuration implement. This spell lasts 1 minute instead of the usual 1 round/level.
If enemies are packed together, she will cast burning hands on them, adding + 1 dmg and spending 1 or 2 points stored in her evocation implement to use her Shape Mastery focus power to exclude 1 or 2 allies from the blast, as required.
Other than that, she will either help the party with a wand of cure light wounds or shoot her crossbow:

Oops, botting directions, botting directions.... **snap!** Just watch all 15 seasons of Pokémon and pay special attention to everything Ash does--it is the most comprehensive botting guide this side of my other character, Physician Huh's botting guide (which is all 36 current seasons of Doctor Who).

Quick roll call, folks. Want to see how many are dotted in and potentially ready to begin. Please let me know your availability to get started. 10/1 is a perfectly acceptable answer.

dotted... ready now (sorry for the american ninja dot; i.e. only did step 1 of 2 of ninja dot... and forgot to remove the dot... Chris McFarlane style God rest his soul)

"Present, professor!"
But don't rush on my account.

Anthelea, if you haven't already, please fill out the character details table in the first discussion post, please.

Looks like your status bar is part of a Hero Lab export. Although it has the pertinent info, you may want to trim that down a bit.
I'd like for you to fill out this sheet with your character info also, please.

Sorry for the lack of updates..it seems that I turned off the notifications for this thread some how. It should be working again since I posted.

Hi folks,
Just want to make sure you have all the facts laid out before we proceed here.
So far I have the following engaging in the minotaur now:
Jimmothy
Mindy
Damiel
Nennette and Anthelea are in the cave unless either retcon their action.
I would like each player to confirm their action to enter the cave or engage the minotaur before proceeding. Caution that the encounter is very dangerous.

![]() |

Jim's in all the way, we all go home or nobody does sort of honor thing. Besides the fight does not get significantly easier at the end when we are low on spells and consumables.

![]() |

Mindy will join the kid to protect him, but GM PDK is glaring at the Great Green God for forcing this most... irregular Confirmation choice on fellow Pathfinders... ;)

![]() |

alright then. I'll wait to hear back from Anthelea before staging the encounter but your intentions are understood.

Mindy will join the kid to protect him, but GM PDK is glaring at the Great Green God for forcing this most... irregular Confirmation choice on fellow Pathfinders... ;)
It is a weird encounter. How many other encounters are almost purposefully built to force the party to turn away from a fight that after one turn of the evergreen wheel you know you are going to have to fight eventually, that is unless everyone just runs past Janira when you find her again. There's a puff of smoke, the sound of conga drums and someone yells: "Seeya back at the Lodge, chief!"
For his part Jimmothy is stubborn though he might have come around to the cave plan had he understood that Janira was older and much more experienced than him and perhaps been given a bit more of an argument (from anyone) or perhaps a solid thwack over the head and some dragging.
I appreciate and say thank you to those who follow Jimmothy back into the fight, and Jimmothy will even more so to all the survivors should he be vertical by the end.
Well lets get this death match started then...
We'll soften him up for you to one punch him from range later. ;)

Damiel - Alchemist Iconic |

I have played the confirmation several times ... first time I am not going into the cave. ;-) I am a little excited to see what happens!

![]() |

I have played and GM'd this a few times. I have seen the minotaur either get wrecked or get a TPK.
It can be a pretty tough fight at first, but it can go any way.

From the PFS Guide:
Death: Death is a constant threat for characters who
undertake dangerous missions such as those given out by
the Pathfinder Society. Unfortunately, death can happen
in Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild play just like any
regular Pathfinder RPG session. The basic rule for the Roleplaying Guild is that if a
character dies during the course of an adventure:
• He can be raised by a character of appropriate class and
level seated at his table by paying all costs associated with
the resurrection.
• He can be raised by an NPC in an appropriately sized
settlement by purchasing spellcasting services.
• He can be raised by his faction by spending the requisite
Prestige Points. If the player can’t or chooses not to use any of these
options, the character is permanently dead. That character’s
player receives a Chronicle sheet for the adventure with no
XP, Prestige Points, gold, and boons. The GM reports that
character as dead on the Reporting Sheet provided with
the adventure and on the character’s Chronicle sheet. The
player will need to make a new 1st-level character or play
a different character to continue playing in the Pathfinder
Society Roleplaying Guild.
Expendables: Any wealth spent or resources expended
during the course of an adventure must be tracked and
recorded on either the Chronicle Sheet or Inventory
Tracking Sheet as applicable.

At this low of level..nothing really.
If you are just unconscious and stable, and the party brings you body back, after a couple of days you come around.
But if you dead, dead. The character is marked as unplayable. Unless you have enough prestige or gold to bring you back. But at level 1 or 2, you don't.

As a GM, I have killed a few players and as a player have seen this minotaur kill a few too many, especially if it isnt being hit by touch attacks.

![]() |

Smiles.
I almost sort of hope the away team does die, just so I can watch a two man dungeon delve with one of the men, the leshy, pushing the war priest out ahead of them into the darkness. ;) Good luck guys!
To the GM!
"Ave, Imperator, morituri te salutant!"
To the Away Team!
"Let's go do our best everyone!" ~Any given anime with plucky kids in it.
That and we got the backpack and the bard! Woohoo!

![]() |

Jimmothy is too busy sulking. That and he's not really the most skillful pathfinder. His report will probably end up being a bunch of bad line drawings of him playing with his summons.

![]() |

This past Saturday my right right started giving me some issues. I thought it would be getting better but today I went to the Urgent Care and the Doctor has made an emergency appointment for tomorrow afternoon at NM Eye Associates. The Urgent Care doctor thinks that my retina may be detached but wants the specialists to take a look at it.
I will keep you apprised of the situation.
