Morcrug, please join the Discussion thread, and do reference this post, please.
Dotting.
I'll finish the character creation shortly.| Morcrug Axehome |
Shaping some ideas, so I've got a few questions:
· What region does everyone hail from at the beginning of their backstory?
· How does your character perceive their Path/Sphere? As it is outside of the typical fighter/caster training, what's their mental concept of what they do? What does it feel like when they're using their abilities?
· Roll a d4, please. That number is how many years they have been at the school since they arrived.
Years at School: 1d4 ⇒ 4

Trancelike, Hyper-attentive to what they're focusing on. Like they're outlining the air around their target/goal. Hot-Blooded.

Morcrug's initial post up. Other post got eaten.
I'll set you all forward tomorrow. I'm kicking myself for not copying the post.

Yeah I make a habit of using word to write big post until I don't :( Sometimes I forget and then get sidetracked or pulled away while writing said post then it gets eaten. Sucks.
The first time I created a character profile I was copying stats over and writing/thinking their story/motivations up into the text box. Did most of the abilities/number crunching and finished like 4 paragraphs then hit preview and died inside.

GM the above is a bit vague and a really sandboxy style of post. Again something I have found will kill games as most players do not want such and why AP's are good as they have just enough railroading to keep you going while still presenting some choice. I'm fine with it and will not be going anywhere as long as the other 2 are interested in that style of play as well. It would help if you requested survival or perception rolls or made them on our behalf. Just an observation :)
I'll be reflexively rolling for the things that your characters would react to without having to wait for you to come in and post a roll, but thus far,
- You have just set out, and turning around can be done if you wish.- None of you have the ride skill, so I inferred that attempting to acquire a mount would not be something that you would likely do
- I am giving all of you time to say what you're doing (and how)
- What you choose to roll actively can be made with your post.
I don't know how much (or little) color each of you wishes to inject into the game, so I'm giving you the time to do so. Once I understand how much (or little) you want to contribute to descriptions, personalities, et cetera, things will smooth out, but you have a goal, you have a McGuffin, you have an impetus, and you have some information. Until you post something, I only have what has been contributed prior, and what I can see on your sheets.

No worries. I expect with the coming holidays and the general pacing of this game, it'll be slow going.
| Kakita Atsuko |
Yes indeed. I leave Tuesday after work and will be on a boat to mexico cruising, back on the 23rd then staying in south Florida working remotely for the week of christmas. So from Tuesday to Monday next week I will not be posting then limited posting the following week.

With the coming of the new year and the going of the holidays, some absences have occurred. So, as the majority of you were from the initial recruitment, I want to offer you the option to (re?)join the other table, running the Tyrant's Grasp AP.
If you choose to join, you would awaken in one of the coffins pictured on the map of the link in the Campaign tab.

As of yet, Gharol has not responded in the game, and their last post was on the third of December. Similar potential role, perhaps-- the two of you are already different.
I'll send them a message, but their return does not exclude all of you joining. If everyone transits, presume that the markings on the stones, made them unstable and the red light growing brighter was the last you saw.

Atsuko, you are incorrect in your assumption of actions. If you wish to alter your actions, you can, but in attacking, you will be placing yourself into the swarm.

You lot also have the option of being part of the entourage that arrived in the town before things started, if you like. If that is the case, read up on the Rampart so that you can blend better.
With the majority shifting games, I'll mark this game as inactive in a week, or once I have confirmation of everyone transitioning.
