Trying to keep the targeting focused through OP-1's turn, Kiv fires off another shot at Ratrod.

He has to have something up his sleeve!

OP-1 looks up from the remote controls to see how the other's are doing before focusing one more on steering the racer across the track.

Shoot KAC at Ratrod: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17

Zoey moves the onboard gun around, and takes a shot at Orsis, who is close-by. Not that that is any help to her.

Lemgem gets out of her racer, and tosses a wrench at the RaceBot that blabbers on about the race.

Nyizin fires her rear laser gun at Orsis, missing, and her forward shotgun at Nyzin, hitting!

Ratrod fires his laser at Laboni and hits, but nothing can hinder OP-1's near perfect piloting!

Kiv and Fritz shoot right back at Ratrod, both hitting him!
Zoey is so happy about the double hit, that she jumps in the air, and this throws her otherwise perfect shot off... and she ends up missing Orsis.
Fritz smiles at Kiv, and is about to high-five him - if Ysoki have five "fingers" - but Fritz's stomach suddenly rumbles and he looks a bit off.

Ratrod, hit four times, manages to move forward slowly. 275 ft. progress
Piloting: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (15) - 2 = 13

Velocity is hit, and thus is not able to move much. 200 ft. progress
Piloting: 1d20 ⇒ 12

Also hit, Nyizinis unable to move forward.! 0 feet gained

Still unscathed, Orsis zips forward, passing the half point. 550 ft.

OP-1's super racing skills have you keeping the lead. 650 ft. gained

The little Sportz Channel droid avoid's Lemgem's wrench and keeps on screaming: "Two racers are past the half point marker - which is brought to you by SpaceDepot and its twenty two types of markers - go Orsis, go Lab Coat Laboni!"

Seeing who the danger is now, Fritz shoots at Orsis and hits the racer right in front grav-wheel.

It is a ranged attack, so you can add your Dex' to your BAB. Not sure why Fritz rolled a +1 only last time - did not check the ones before.

The weapons we are using give a -3 to attack according to the stats you provided, that's why almost everyone is rolling with a +1 max

Encouraged by the progress he's making in steering the racer OP-1 tries to continue his lucky streak

After spending so much time focusing on Ratrod, Kiv has trouble retargeting to anyone else.

As the race moves to the second half, shots keep on ringing out left and right.

Nyizin fires her rear laser gun at Ratrod and her forward shotgun at Velocity, both hit, and Ratrod syphons the energy, boosting himself, while Velocity is hindered.

Zoey, so unhappy about having just missed Orsis, pouts and does not shoot.

Ratrod, hit four times, manages to balancing some of the hits with energy-booster, but is so battered he cannot move along... he squeals his rage! 0 ft. progress
Piloting: 1d20 - 8 ⇒ (13) - 8 = 5

Velocity is hit again, and is also unable to move.... 0 ft. progress
Piloting: 1d20 - 6 ⇒ (2) - 6 = -4

Though battered, Nyizin is able to edge forward... 250 feet gained
Piloting: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16

Hit, Orsis is not able to focus that well, and bounces off the side of the track, nearly hitting a family of that was enjoying the race and having a picnic. 225 ft.
Piloting: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

Though hit, OP-1's superior racing skills overcome this hindrance -4 makes it a 20 and you not only remain in the lead, you move ahead! 650 ft. gained

The little Sportz Channel droid starts bobbing around like mad: "Lab Coat Laboni is just seconds away from winning, but don't count Orsis out yet... Whereas poor Ratrod, he has not even passed the half-way marker. Marker that is brought to you by Space-Stabilo, comes in 101 cool and fluorescent colors!"

Free "1 round speed boost" mod' (doubles speed boost for 1 round, but 50% of blowing engine and permanently reducing base speed by half as of the following round (so minus 20 ft.).

I'm not certain how this works. Does it double or speed or just a bonus to speed? If we used the "free speed buff" this round, would we win (and wrap this up)?

Suddenly, Kiv hits a button, and OP-1 opens the throttle, jiggling the joystick.
Totally surprised, Laboni is thrown backward by the sudden increase in speed and nearly falls off the racer!

The Sportz Channel droid goes crazy: "WHAT?!

Nyzin lets out a whoop when she sees you use her booster.

The racer flies another 650 ft., whizzing right past the finishing line, surprising the sexy Kasatha male go go dancer, with four checkered flags in his hands. It takes him a second to wave your victory!

The little Sportz Channel droid starts bobbing around like mad: "Laboni is a winner, and.... NOOOOO......"

Laboni's racer comes around, making a full circle, and smashes into Lemgem's racer, still on the departure line.

The little Sportz Channel droid starts bobbing around like mad: "Victory for Laboni! And if you want to repair your vehicle, like Lemgem will, remember that KarPartz delivers 45 types of glue!"

As everybody screams and shouts, and the betters either cry or holler their joy, you all get an incoming message from Radaszam: "I just happened to see you won. Good."

Laboni is dancing around, and screaming to all: "I'm the best! I'm signing up for the next Akiton Racer Death Kontest, and I'll beat you on your home turf, Ratrod!"
You all cringe at the thought.

Some people from the Salvage Union approach you, and will open valuable with the Starfinder Society, thanks to you.

As things calm down, Laboni does however apologizes to Ratrod for her previous statements, and the ysoki, his pride still hurts, calms down. "Okay, let the bast rat win in Akiton!"

You win a set of graphite carbon skin armor, on behalf of the Salvage Union, and 400 credits from the race’s prize pool.
But you don't care much, because you have fulfilled your missions!

Zoey excitedly tries to high-five Fritz, but quickly pulls back when she meet his stare. Instead, she does the point dance to HI-VAX' stadium-busting hit I am the best

Torith cheers the loudest he's done so far, though he can't help but cringe when Laboni repeats the exact same kind of boasting that got them in this situation in the first place.
