The next day will bring nothing interesting on ship, so you will all have two night actions and a day action to do as well as two more rum rations

diplomacy: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

Who are these other crew members? All we have is a list of names and we know 4 tried to fight us. If we are expected to get to know them and hang out with them to influence them for whatever reason. It would be nice to know about them. Even a sentence or two about what race they are or how they are passing the time. I understand that I am influencing them by a meta game mechanic that involves my cha and a dice roll but it would also be nice to get a feel and flavor of who I am talking to how I am striking up the conversation and what I might be offing them as a reason to want to be my friend.

I apologize I have to take at least a week long hiatus from paizo entirely. I am dealling with a personal crisis and can't spare any time for gaming. I apologize for the inconvenience I know how much it sucks to have a game die. I will not be able to respond to anything until I return. Again I am sorry for the problems this will cause.

Male Kobold (reincarnated as) Human level 6 DungeonMaster/Level 2 Munchkin

During the night a vicious storm hits the ship. The ship rolls so roughly that all of you are thrown from your hammocks scattering roughly about the lower deck.

Male Dwarf Ranger (Freebooter) 1

"Blasted addle brained barnacles."
Jarkul is already swearing before he regains consciousness. "Any bilge rat knows ye steer into the waves when it gets like this."

Hastily, the dwarf scans the hold for signs of structural damage. Unless he find some, he then makes his way above decks.

Male Kobold (reincarnated as) Human level 6 DungeonMaster/Level 2 Munchkin

While damage and chaos is apparent it appears to have been caused by unsecured items flying about the hold. To head above or below decks or to travel about the deck requires a climb at dc 15

Male Dwarf Ranger (Freebooter) 1

Climb: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

HP 10/10; AC 14/12/12 F+2,R+2,W+2; Init.+2, Perc+1; Darkvision

No'bu knew exactly what to do in such a situation...lash himself to something study. He looks for some rope, using a spare hammock if necessary. "Tie yerself down, lads! The seas is trying to claim this whole barge!"

Male Male Catfolk Slayer 1 | HP 12 | AC 16, FF 10, Touch 13 | F +5, R +6, W -1 | Init +3 | P +3

Lux picks himself up from the deck and tries to regain his footing. "No'bu you'll want that loose cargo tied, it might tip the ship."

Lux looks to his friends and suggests "Not sure how this ship operates but my guess is swabs should address the cargo and riggers will be expected on deck. Better to be told to get back to hammock than get flogged for failing to look to the ship."

Human Medium 8 | HP 4(12)/51(60) +9(Bear) | AC18 (21) /T14/FF16 | +10 Longspear, 1d8+4 x3Crit | Perception +9

Akadi scrambles to her feet with a manic grin on her face. "per'aps sometin could happen to the good captain. would be unfortunate if he be lost in the storm."

Akadi tries to find her way above decks. Climb: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11

Male Male Catfolk Slayer 1 | HP 12 | AC 16, FF 10, Touch 13 | F +5, R +6, W -1 | Init +3 | P +3

Lux heads above deck.

climb: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18

Male Kobold (reincarnated as) Human level 6 DungeonMaster/Level 2 Munchkin

As Akadi stumbles somewhat unable to reach to the stairs, Jarkul and Terz both manage to reach the main deck. The storm is a riot of chaos and wind.
Mr. Plugg appears to be shouting something but he cannot be heard over the roar of the wind. He gestures violently towards the rigging which is being torn to shreds in the storm.

"Have ye fools gone completely barmy!?" Jarkul's comment is similarly consumed by the noise of the storm. He simply cannot fathom what kind of fools wouldn't have trimmed sail at the first sign of a storm. He throws his hands up in exasperated incredulity. "Come on pussycat," he shouts "If we canna cut the sail down, this tub's liable te flip!"

Jarkul first grabs a long rope and uses it to connect himself to the mast. with enough trailing line to reach what remains of the sail. He then looks about for a sharp implement, or really anything that could be used to cut rope. If he can't find such a tool, he'll approach Mr. Plugg.

HP 10/10; AC 14/12/12 F+2,R+2,W+2; Init.+2, Perc+1; Darkvision

No'bu looks around exasperatedly, and sees he was the only one still in the lower areas. He sighed, and sliced teh rope he had just tied off. "Watch out for me, Besmara, sweetie, I'm coming up!"

Climb 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Male Male Catfolk Slayer 1 | HP 12 | AC 16, FF 10, Touch 13 | F +5, R +6, W -1 | Init +3 | P +3

Lux nods to Jarkul's suggestion and makes for the rigging. He climbs swiftly and begins to deal with the issue of the sails.

Assuming he hears no detailed orders, if there are any other riggers he acts in concert with them assuming they have orders. Otherwise he will be cutting the sail free per Jarkul's suggestion.

Male Kobold (reincarnated as) Human level 6 DungeonMaster/Level 2 Munchkin

Jarkul and Lux move to cut loose the sails Mr.Plugg throwing and sinking a pair of knives into the mast for cutting the lines. The rigging is a lashing hell of uncontrolled lines. Jarkul is unable to secure himself to the mast but is able to attach a long line between himself and Lux.

A heavy roll of the ship leaves it falling precariously for a few terrifying moments as No'bu attempts to free himself and flies headlong into Akadi tangling both in the ropes he had just cut.

The others are nowhere to be seen in the chaos.

Lux:
As you climb the rigging you can see all the regular crew that should have been on duty tangled about the crow's nest, each with a slit throat long since drained.

The roar of the wind and waves makes verbal communication impossible above decks.

Male Dwarf Ranger (Freebooter) 1

Once the sails are cut, Jarkul grips the line cutting knife in his teeth. On the rigging, he turns toward Lux, careful to keep his back toward the taskmaster on deck. The dwarf jerks his right hand over his left shoulder, pointing it at Mr. Plugg behind him. He then slowly traces the tip of his thumb across his own neck, hoping the catfolk will get the jist. He then waits for some kind of acknowledgement or protest from Lux.

Male Male Catfolk Slayer 1 | HP 12 | AC 16, FF 10, Touch 13 | F +5, R +6, W -1 | Init +3 | P +3

Is Plugg the only officer on deck? Just need some info to evaluate the wisdom of Jarkul's plan.

HP 10/10; AC 14/12/12 F+2,R+2,W+2; Init.+2, Perc+1; Darkvision

No'bu again tries to get loose and climb to meet with the others. "Lookout Akadi," he yells! not sure whether he can be heard over the loud sounds of the storm.

Climb: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19

Yeah I was parsing the possible difference between THE others meaning the party or ANY others meaning a dozen NPC frantically working and possible additional officers.

Human Medium 8 | HP 4(12)/51(60) +9(Bear) | AC18 (21) /T14/FF16 | +10 Longspear, 1d8+4 x3Crit | Perception +9

Akadi shakes her head a moment to clear it, and tries to head back for the stairs.
Climb: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Male Kobold (reincarnated as) Human level 6 DungeonMaster/Level 2 Munchkin

Good question Lux, both are correct, while the other in the party who have not posted are nowhere to be seen there are also no other officers on deck. There are several non-officer crew trying frantically to fight the storm however.

Akadi and No'Bu find themselves flung above decks and over board. The surf and the winds spinning them wildly as they struggle to grip onto the barrels that were dragged with them overboard. Rosie Cusswell has the fortune of riding along a small raft of barrels, supplies and, lumber lashed together haphazardly with rope. She manages to reel in the two along with their tangle of flotsam before all three disappear into the storm.

Jarkul and Lux along with Sandara Quinn find that cutting the sails was wise plan until some fool had knotted several lines in the wrong places, causing what should have been a simple tactic to fight the storm into something that ripped part of the mast from the deck and dragged all three along with a handful of other hapless souls off of the deck and into the gale of the storm.

Male Kobold (reincarnated as) Human level 6 DungeonMaster/Level 2 Munchkin

Akadi and No'bu awake on the shores of a sandy beach with Rosie Cusswell perched over them eating a red and orange fruit while drinking a bottle of rum. "Good to see you two love birds are awake." At which point the two realize they are wrapped in each others arms. The Sun shines and the weather is clear.

Jarkul awakes to discover his peg lodged in a tree and himself as well as Sandara Quinn and Lux tangled and hanging from the lines and rigging at least a hundred feet from the ground. The trees appear tropical and dense. From the looks of it only Jarkul, Lux, Sandara and, two other crewmen are breathing.

HP 10/10; AC 14/12/12 F+2,R+2,W+2; Init.+2, Perc+1; Darkvision

"Good morning, sunshine," No'bu smiles at Akadi. "Was it good for you, too?".

The Orc quickly pulls himself up before she strikes out at him. "Rosie, all I remember is you saving us! I appreciate that, and I'll see you repaid. You have my gratitude. Now where in the bloody Hell's has Besmara dropped us?"

Male Dwarf Ranger (Freebooter) 1

"Boot auntie, I dinna want ne more porridge." Jarkul mumbles in a sleepy daze. As he fades into consciousness, he peeks an eye open and spots a grey and black striped pillow. As it looks a little lumpy, he decides to try and fluff it a bit, only to be startled as the pillow reacts and moves. Mutual flailing of limbs sends the three of them swinging dangerously. "Sweet Torag's knotted beard! Don't scare a fellow like that!"

Now fully awake, the dwarf takes in the particulars of his predicament. "Now this be a dilly we've gotten ourselves inta. Still, it could be worse." He had to say it, didn't he?

Any chance Jarkul still has the knife?

Human Medium 8 | HP 4(12)/51(60) +9(Bear) | AC18 (21) /T14/FF16 | +10 Longspear, 1d8+4 x3Crit | Perception +9

Akadi grins at No'bu, "Aye, our entwined bodies crashed together like waves upon the beach".
She looks around the beach, "We should check what supplies are here and see if anyone else washed up."

Male Male Catfolk Slayer 1 | HP 12 | AC 16, FF 10, Touch 13 | F +5, R +6, W -1 | Init +3 | P +3

Lux looks around wondering if he remembers the island. "Wow, I did not see that coming. For the record Jarkul that would have been a fine time to jump the bugger."

Male Dwarf Ranger (Freebooter) 1

"Ye mean we didn't skewer the blighted rat biter afore it all went turvy? It's all a bit hazy I must confess." Jarkul shakes his head in regret. It is an unnatural looking gesture, seeing as he is suspended at a right angle at the moment. "Ne'er it mind, lets be seeing if we can't get untangled. Now if I twist this way, and ye pull that rope..."

Male Male Catfolk Slayer 1 | HP 12 | AC 16, FF 10, Touch 13 | F +5, R +6, W -1 | Init +3 | P +3

"Well blasted away by the wind means we don't need to figure out who murdered the riggers tied to the mast. Or face being framed for it."

He works himself free and climbs to the others to assist as needed.

HP 10/10; AC 14/12/12 F+2,R+2,W+2; Init.+2, Perc+1; Darkvision

"Yep. Let's scavenge anything we might be able to use. Hold on for a minute, though, if you don't mind. I've got a friend with good eyes...". No'bu closes his eyes and concentrates for several seconds as a vaguely crocodile shaped creature begins to materialize.

Once the creature appears, No'bu does the introductions. "Akadi, meet Bwenge. Bwenge, be nice and say hello to Akadi. If you can't tell, Besmara has played another joke on us. Could you help us search for anything useful?"

AC 13/11/12 | HP 6/6 | Perception +4 | Initiative +1 | Low light Vision |

"Greetings, pretty lady. Don't mind this weakling. The Pirate Queen sends me to help him out for some reason."

"Greetings Master Bwenge, good hunting." if Akadi is perturbed by the creature she doesn't show it.

Akadi searches for anything useful that's washed up, or anything that looks edible, useful from the nearby surroundings.

Jarkul notices both knives have managed to embed themselves in his peg scant inches away from his flesh. Lux and Jarkul manage to loosen the ropes slightly and drop ten feet before jerking to a halt again.

Rosie grins and throws Akadi and No'bu the gear they had had before it was confiscated. "I've got several of your friends things as well as a bit of a honey pot for myself, we've about three more bottles of rum and soon three empty bottles as well" as she takes another swig of rum "About 3 days worth of various food bits not including fruit, and a whole mess of rope and wood scraps. I'll guard the camp if you lot want to scavenge and hunt"

Bwenge is able to find several more fruit trees but little else. He notes that there appears to be a small mountain towards the center of the island and the jungle grows quite dense a few ship lengths beyond the shore.

Akadi finds a vital resource in the form of a fresh spring but otherwise finds nothing in the outer edges of the jungle.

HP 10/10; AC 14/12/12 F+2,R+2,W+2; Init.+2, Perc+1; Darkvision

"Like I said, Rosie, Darlin', you're number one with me. We'll gather some of this fruit for ya."

After Bwenge informs No'bu what he had noted, the Orc also mentioned that to the others. "We are going to have to head toward that mountain to get a real lay of the land. If we get that high, we can see everything here. It'll be hell cutting our way through there, though."

AC 13/11/12 | HP 6/6 | Perception +4 | Initiative +1 | Low light Vision |

"It's not that tough for some of us, you pansy. You can stay back here, and I'll walk with the pretty lady. Much rather hang out with her than you. You know what this is about. Besmara is making you prove yourself. She said she sees something in you. I don't, but who am I to question the Lady, I suppose. "

Male Male Catfolk Slayer 1 | HP 12 | AC 16, FF 10, Touch 13 | F +5, R +6, W -1 | Init +3 | P +3

Lux looks about the island hoping to see a distinguishing feature.

"We need a water source, renewable food, shelter and a big bonus if we know where we are."

Male Dwarf Ranger (Freebooter) 1

"Me thinks I've got it this time..." A couple more strategic unknottings and swings and Jarkul is once again on solid ground.

He plucks the blades out of his peg, stuffs one under his belt and tosses the other to Lux. "Aye. Let me sees if I can get me bearings here."

Knowledge: Geography: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Are there any sticks about suitable to use as a quarterstaff? If so, Jarkul grabs one.

Male Kobold (reincarnated as) Human level 6 DungeonMaster/Level 2 Munchkin

Jarkul and Lux are able to retrieve Sandara Quinn and the other two surviving crewmen; John and Smith. Jarkul and Sandara are able to quickly produce several quarterstaves for all. John and Smith ask Lux to help them take down the rigging remaining as well as the mostly intact sail. As Lux is in the trees he realizes that his group is at the base of a small mountain and roughly a days travel from the shore assuming the jungle is as dense as it appears. Although he could likely reach the shore in half that time if allowed to go on his own. There appear to be smaller hills or outcroppings to what seems to be the east and west of the mountain the shore curves smoothly around and there appears to be no natural bays or shelter for ships.

I was under the impression No'bu that Eidolons could not stray far from their summoners.

HP 10/10; AC 14/12/12 F+2,R+2,W+2; Init.+2, Perc+1; Darkvision

You are right, DM. I was just throwing that in for a bit of flavor since Bwenge doesn't necessarily want to be right beside No'bu all the time, lol.

Also, is our group together with the others that were hanging in the tree, or did we wash up on separate areas of the shore?

Human Medium 8 | HP 4(12)/51(60) +9(Bear) | AC18 (21) /T14/FF16 | +10 Longspear, 1d8+4 x3Crit | Perception +9

I was under the impression we were separate.

HP 10/10; AC 14/12/12 F+2,R+2,W+2; Init.+2, Perc+1; Darkvision

I am too, but I just wanted to be sure.

"Sometimes I wish you could go far away as well, Bwenge. But, The Pirate Queen has a sense of humor no doubt, so we are stuck together. Akadi, do you want Bwenge and I to lift you, so you can pick some of that fruit for the group? After that, I'm thinking of heading to that mountain over there to get my bearings..."

Human Medium 8 | HP 4(12)/51(60) +9(Bear) | AC18 (21) /T14/FF16 | +10 Longspear, 1d8+4 x3Crit | Perception +9

"I never leaned the trick of climbing trees, so a lift would be good."

Male Male Catfolk Slayer 1 | HP 12 | AC 16, FF 10, Touch 13 | F +5, R +6, W -1 | Init +3 | P +3

Lux looks at the castaways, "We are aways from shore by a day, perhaps at the top of this moutain we can get a full veiw of the land."

HP 10/10; AC 14/12/12 F+2,R+2,W+2; Init.+2, Perc+1; Darkvision

Bwenge and the half orc try to help Akadi to the branches of the trees, so she could pick enough of the fruit for a nice dinner.

Str check 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Bwenge Assist 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11

Male Dwarf Ranger (Freebooter) 1

"A bleedin day? We musta been quite the sight, flying through the air on a mast, har har." Jarkul chortles. "Lead on me hearty."

He coils the ropes they've managed to dislodge and aids with folding up the sail, knowing that the canvas will be valuable for both shelter and water collection.

Male Male Catfolk Slayer 1 | HP 12 | AC 16, FF 10, Touch 13 | F +5, R +6, W -1 | Init +3 | P +3

"Alright. The shore is likely to have fish."
