To Inikai, in Varisian:

"Yes, I wonder why it failed to imbue you with a sense of judgement. You see fit to be insolent to those of us who are capable of overcoming goblins whereas you dramatically failed to do so. Of course, I may be mistaken. Perhaps you tied and gagged yourself and the miscreants simply found you and took advantage of your state. If so, forgive me for my erroneous assumption."

"Yes, embarking on a completely new venture does prove taxing. But I must say your assessment of the goblin is breath-takingly insightful, oh thrall of Thrune."

"Yes, yes, delightfully cynical. Keep on trying. Eventually you'll get the hang of it. Now, I find these snake eyes strangely reminiscent of Lamashtu's get. Hmm..."

Turning back to her chatty companions with a low growl, Aliwolf again points her muzzle forward and pads ahead quietly, senses on the alert.
Stealth, Perception:1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 251d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17 +2 to smell & touch

Romon |

Romon nods "OK" to the rest of the party. He stashes his tools and draws his shortsword. Then he swings the door open.
No stealth this time. If the door pulls open he'll step away with it so it shields him from the room. If the door pushes open he'll go with it and to the side to get out of the heavy hitters' way.

Alisebett |

Aliwolf moves in front of the double doors and hunches down in an attack position, a low growl in her throat. She is ready to leap to the attack the moment the door is opened.

Romon |

Muchorak stands ready next to Wolfspirit, nods to Romon to check the door.
You want me to put Romon between a growling Ali and the door? No way. Only an idiot would stand there.
At Muchorak's nod, Romon steps forward to examine the door. "It's clean, " he whispers. "Something big, with claws on the other side."
Romon removes his pack and readies his sword. Then looks to make sure the others are ready.

When everyone's set, Romon opens the door. Usual drill door as shield if it pulls open. Go through and to the side if it pushes.

Stone fonts containing frothy dark water sit to the north and south of the eastern entrance to the room, and twin banks of stone pillars run the length of the long chamber. At the western end, shallow stairs rise to a platform about two feet off the ground. The walls surrounding this platform are lit by hanging braziers that emit glowing red smoke, givingthe place an unnerving crimson lighting that throws the bas-relief carvings of countless monsters feasting on fleeing humans into lurid display.
A black marble altar stone, its surface heaped with ashes and bone fragments, squats before a ten-foot-tall statue. The sculpture depicts a very pregnant but otherwise shapely naked woman who wields a kukri in each taloned hand and has a long reptilian tail, bird-like taloned feet, and the snarling head of a three-eyed jackal with a forked tongue. Its left kukri flickers with fiery orange light while the right one glows with a cold blue radiance.

The first hound lets out a long low mournful howl and a wave of fear washes over you..however all of you you withstand it, all off you that is except for Kalli who lets out a shriek her wand falling from nerveless fingers.

Romon |

Romon shivers from the howls. Flying dogs. I wish I'd readied my bow. Romon draws his (magic) throwing dagger and casts it at a swooping canine.
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 181d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
not sure if we in a surprise round or not, so I rolled the attack anyway. If he can't draw and throw this round, he'll throw as his first action next round.

Inikai |

Inikai spares a look at Kallie and the prisoner then turns to the hounds. As the initial burst of fear subsides he wonders if the they have condemned the bound woman to death by leaving her defenseless. He grimaces and clenches his around his morningstar as a bolt of lighting streaks down at one of the hounds.

Alisebett |

Aliwolf launches herself at the closest hound, her slavering jaws looking to sink into it's flesh.

Seeing Kalli stricken by the otherworldly howls of these monstrous hounds, Marak turns to take hold of the bindings on the prisoner's wrists, as Kalli is no longer able to keep an eye on her.
He's seen enough of the sometimes fearsome efficiency of his companions to not feel a pressing need to lend his flying morning star to the fray, at least, not until he is sure that the 'prisoner' can't take advantage of the confusion to slip away.

Inikai |

If it is round two:
Inikai takes aim at the flying hound and tries to time its movements. Then he pulls another stroke of lightning out of the air at it. He trusts that his companions will slay the sleeping mutt.

Ali doesnt need an acrobatics roll as the hound struck at her..

Romon |

Romon drops his sword and snatches the dagger as it returns. Handy this. He throws at the swooping dog. Then he shrugs his bow off his shoulder.

Wellard don't forget any range modifiers
Edit: crit confirm
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 121d4 ⇒ 2

Muchorak "Windstriker" |

Unless i'm mistaken Nathaniel has no one to coup de grace, I mean since the first round he put the hound to sleep. Unless he's going to attack the flying the one? Clarification Wellard, so it IS flying?? No means of wings or anything or did I just miss that?

If the flying hound is still active by the time he gets his bearings, Marak will command his morningstar to fly to the attack, while keeping his shield hand on the prisoner.
Hand of the Acolyte-powered morning star attack 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22 and damage 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
