Claw / claw / bite ranger

Advice

We have a player who is trying to make a claw/claw/bite werewolf hunting ranger.
She wants to take the shapeshifter archetype and is using half orc as a base race (using toothy/razor tusk) but it looks like she will need to be 5-7th level before she can claw/claw/bite?

In order to have the claws and the way the feats line up etc. IF she takes razor tusk as her 1st level feat, then 2nd level takes natural weapon fighting style (but cant GET natural weapons until 3rd with the aspect of the beast feat) she'll just be using a weapon like normal for the first few levels and won't be very good at it until 5th-7th.

Seems like this doesn't work right, Got to be looking at this wrong, anybody?

Why arent they taking the aspect feat at level 2? Its on the combat styles list starting at 2, and even if they wait till 3 the bite does one and half times str damage and is B/P/S which dosent stink for the first couple of levels.

Yeah you're looking at it wrong.
She can start with the bite right away and at 2nd when she gets the combat style it gives her a free feat (any of the options for aspect but realistically the claws).
Natural weapons don't use the iterative attack rules and she'll always get those 3 attacks when she does a full attack. (Great at low levels but crappy when everyone else starts getting 4-5 attacks around)

yea duh, I knew i had to be looking at it wrong. Something about bouncing back and forth between Core and APG was messing with me.

We haven't done a base class archetype out of APG except Zen archer yet.
So bite at level one, Aspect (claws) at level two, what should she do for her level three feat?

And question: if she has improved shield bash, can she claw bite shield bash?

Edit: Ah I remembered, as half orc she wants keen sense and smell fear (maybe) and can she take more than one aspect of the best feat? (like take aspect of the beast again at lvl 3 to get another ability?)

Any attack with a manufactured weapon makes all her natural attacks become secondary attacks with a -5 penalty (-2 when she gets multiattack feat) but yes she can use the shield bash.

She wont qualify for any of the other aspect feats until she hits 6th level (the requirements for that feat are only waved when using the combat style bonus feat).
And third level feat should probably be something to improve her survivability. Light armor, no shields and high damage output makes her the #1 target for bad guys.

Power attack will make you a glass cannon at level 3 if you wanted to go that route and really powerufl at third level with 18 strength d4+6 3 times is a lot. Even more when you get an amulet of mighty fists. I would recommend a good con.
