Seren Minion - Skeleton
Yep, You're right, was just looking at the soldier's behind the barricade action from the last round... Will adjust skeleton action.
The skeletons run after the fleeing guards, attempting to overwhelm them as they run.
Samuel: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Samual: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 2) + 6 = 13
Donnigan: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 7
DM Aku
Hound attacked two times, but it was not enough to hit his enemies.
While Seren, once again command her enemy to attack it’s bother. Will: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
While her minnions rush past the soldiers and attack the fleeing one.
Mysty, you have room to move now. Waiting for Nahia and Rose actions to continue.
Mysty
|
Mysty moves after the soldiers singing out we're coming to get you!
Her shadowy form dancing around.
double move
Lady Rose
"Shut yer trap!" the frightened looking soldier yells back.
The black knight stepped forward and put her foot on top of the sleeping man's forehead to hold it in place, then carefully swung the axe blade on the back of her hammer down and across, like it was a club in that noble's leisure sport involving knocking small white balls into holes in the ground.
She aimed for his jaw and blasted through the entire lower half of his face, expertly missing his throat.
If he died it would be long and painful. If he lived, he would never speak again.
As the soldier awoke in agony from the Witch's Slumber, the black knight's disguise flickered out long enough for the dark mirrored faceplate to show him the bloody ruin his face had just become.
"You first." she said sweetly.
Coup de Grace w/ power attack: 3d8 + 15 + 12 ⇒ (7, 2, 6) + 15 + 12 = 42
I'm going for permanent disfigurement/crippling or long slow death, rather than just killing him outright. The rules don't cover that. Your call if it works.
Nahia
--Nahia Round 3 (part 1)--
Nahia frowns and whispers "It's difficult to take live prisoners when they are missing the tops of their heads. But to each their own."
We'd better get a move on and either take captives or try to rush faster than they expected. Otherwise, we'll have both the Lord and the Magister on our tails.
Nahia watches the situation closely, waiting for the right time to strike...
I can't reach anyone with a hex, so delaying until after Hound moves.
Lady Rose
"I didn't like his mouth." Rose shrugged.
He might still be alive. We'll say what Aku says.
Hound
I believe that live prisoners are useless at this point. If we take hostages, we just delay the inevitable as soldiers pile up again. In anye vent, which way?
DM Aku
I’ve lost this combat completely. I’ll handwave it’s ending. Feel free to add anything you might have done.
Seren skeletons move forward, butchering everything in their way.
While the compelled soldier moves out to strike at his allies, but is brought down by a massive and powerful attack from the largebarian!
Rose in all her evil glory, cripple the soldier that refused her invitations, for a moment, pain, horror, fear, despair, hate filled his eyes, before he loses consciousness or die.
Nahia Keep taunting her enemies, and Seren keeps laughing maniacally as her minions wreak havoc in the fleeing solders.
It does not take much more than that, a few heartbeat later, the corridor is clear, all enemies put down in a merciless way, butchered.
Intentions? You have about two more minutes before anything happens.
Lady Rose
"Alright, we need to split their attention. Mysty, how are you doing for fire-starting supplies? Seren, can you raise any more skeletons?"
Seren Little
Seren tries to focus on creating more skeletons but the spell fizzles in her mind before she can grasp the correct words.
"Grrr... It's not coming to me." Seren grumbles, frustration apparent on her face.
I'm out of second level spells
Lady Rose
"Then we make due with these ones. I want to send them on an arson spree while we blend in and try to find our targets."
Rose's disguise rippled again to clear away the blood spatter and take on a soldier's uniform again. She still wore the guise of a stocky man. She would have fit right in among the corpses on the ground.
Nahia
Nahia looks over the corpses of the guards on the ground, changing her outfit to better fit their own.
Looking amongst her companions, she whispers "The point of hostages was to keep the wiard from frying us with a blast of fire or lightning, not to ransom them. I still think they could be useful, but we don't have time to argue. We need to move."
...We can tear this place down... we MUST tear this place down...
Lady Rose
Rose nodded. "Pretty Boy here might not be dead. Check him for a pulse and slap him with the wand."
Rose has no ranks in heal, so it would take her a while to check.
Hound
Hound looks down at the mangled face and deadpanned. He looks pretty dead to me. Hound does shift his apperance to look more like one of the guards.
Mysty
|
I have plenty to burn with. Let's go. With that mysty takes on the form of a soldier and moves out. She'll open the door she is near and check it for foes, or supplies to burn.
Lady Rose
Rose nodded "Anyone in those rooms knows we're here. Everyone grab a door. If no one's in them, Mysty can fire the beds as we pass. Hound, you guard the end of the hall."
Rose moved to the door toward the end of the hall on the right and grid to open it.
The door leading to area 4.
Nahia
Once everyone is in position, Nahia grabs a door and throws it open.
Taking the door for room 3.
DM Aku
All the doors in the hallway are locked.
It takes Mysty a few attempts to unlock it all.
3 - This large room contains a bed, a wardrobe, a desk and a chair here as well as other typical furnishings. Nothing to stand attention, other than that.
4 - This room has some small furnitures, but in all, it seems reliably abandoned. As if it's owner did not used it in months.
5 - This room, as the others, has some basic furniture, that seems that never were even used.
6 - These handsomely appointed quarters is the most well furnitured room. The wardrobe is full of clothing more fitting a noble than a member of the Watch Wall. All of its finery in total weighs 20 pounds and is worth 500 gp Appraise DC 15. In addition to the finery, there is also concealed in the wardrobe (DC15 Perception skill check to find) a collection of explicit love letters exchanged between Zack and Kaitlyn Mott.
Lady Rose
"Captain's quarters." Rose says with a shrug. "They're all dead. Not important. Lets move."
She moves to the door and the end of the hall and listens at the door while everyone else gets set.
Mysty
|
Mysty moves up to the hallway door and listens.
Nahia
Nahia, with wand in hand, moves towards the door, staying in the back of the group.
Please bless us Dark Prince, as we do Your work, to further Your Glory, that we may succeed an further Your plans...
Lady Rose
I guess we're waiting on Mysty to relay the information through the Whisper link?
Seren Little
Seren ideally strokes the head of one of her skeletons, while they wait on Mysty to scout ahead. My tonight has been wonderful. Oh I can't wait to see what happens next.
Mysty
|
As noted above mysty listens at the hallway door.
three soldiers guarding. Others in the area, further away. Shall i open. It wouldn't be nice to leave them out.
Lady Rose
Rose nodded. "Me first, then undead. Like they're chasing me. I'm going to see if I can throw them off."
Rose waited for Mysty to throw the door open and then she staggered through.
My intent is to try to trick the soldiers into thinking I'm a survivor of the last group of soldiers who is currently trying to fend off the undead. Hopefully they will think i'm one of them and let me through their lines to "safety." I'm going defensive, against the undead and the soldiers.
Mysty
|
Mysty throws open the door, keeping concealed behind it, if poosible. She does assume the part of a wounded soldier before hand, just in case.
Nahia
Nahia takes a deep breath, summing forth her will as they prepare for the confrontation, muttering under her breath "Good luck everyone..."
Taking a moment to cast Guidance on myself as they get into position, and then waiting to see what happens... #edge_of_my_seat
DM Aku
Rose burst out of the door, the skeletons hot in pursuit!
The guards are startle by her sudden arrival, some seems just about to say something when they see the skeletons charging at her and attacking.
Samarul: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Min Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 2) + 6 = 10 = 8
Donagin: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
Min Damge: 1d8 ⇒ 1 = 1
Samaul skeleton, brings down his sword into the black knight, and for all her defense, it was not enough to avoid the blow, the dead captain troubling her even after his demise.
Since skeletons can't really bluff, I'm considering they are attacking Rose, abeit doing minimum damage.
Also, due to your clever dealings with the situation, I'll let you all have an surprise round over the guards.
I'm considering that two minutes passed in total, that way, Hound is still a Largebarian for the next 3 minutes.
What are you going going to do?
Hound
HP 60/62
AC 14 (AC 12 due to Enlarge)
Base BaB +5
Weapons in hand:Lucerne Hammer
Rage 3/15
Current effects:Enlarge 3 Minutes left
Since Hound is the next front liner, he squeezes through the door, being forced to crouch through the opening, if a foe is in range of his polearm, he strikes!
Lucerne Hammer: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 223d6 + 5 ⇒ (2, 3, 1) + 5 = 11
I might just prefer o using a polearm if I can keep myself supplyed with ways to grow into a giant.
Lady Rose
Well if that doesn't sell it, nothing will.
Rose keeps moving, trying to get through the lines of soldiers to "safety."
"Hold them off! Hold them!" she barks.
Does it look like they're buying it?
Mysty
|
Aku is it a five foot step for mysty to the nearest guard?
Nahia
--Nahia Surprise Round--
Nahia takes a step forward to gain sight of a guard. Grinning, she begins to coo "There's no point in running! Let your mind sink into the dark abyss... just like your pitiful Captain and Holy Father..."
5' step and using my slumber hex on the soldier near the door. Will save DC 15 or fall asleep for 5 rounds.
DM Aku
Soldier Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
In a brave display of self-control, the guard shrugs off Nahia curse.
We are still missing Seren and Mysty action, but let’s move.
Hound: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
Mysty: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Nahia: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
Rose: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
Seren: 1d20 ⇒ 6
Soldiers Init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
The guards that once were focusing in Rose and the skeleton, now are entirely paying attention only to the giant Watchtower guard and his strange comments, also for the other guard spiting lies about their leaders.

mysty advances and if she can, strikes.
rapier if she can: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26

Mysty

Round one (after surprise)
if the guard mysty attacks, falls she will move to flank with rose, attacking the poor guard
rapier: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 10 + 2 = 17
damage: 1d4 + 2d6 ⇒ (3) + (3, 5) = 11
If the guard did not fall she attacks him with both blades
rapier: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19
dagger: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
damage: 1d4 + 2d6 ⇒ (1) + (5, 4) = 10
damage: 1d3 + 2d6 ⇒ (1) + (2, 1) = 4
Then takes a five foot step forward.
DM Aku
Mysty darts between the bigger soldier legs, using her momentum to hit him with her rapier, coated in poison.
Fortitude: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
The soldier, pierced by the deadly weapon, falls to the ground, contorting, and his eyes bulging, clearly under effect of the poison in Misty weapon.
Her job done with one, she darts to the other, flaking with Rose, waving death into the battle field, as she hits another soldier, piercing and cutting the unaware guard. The poor soldier, looks ready to fall on his face at any moment.
Hound

Hound strikes at the soldier just north of Rose with his pole arm.
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 213d6 + 5 ⇒ (3, 5, 4) + 5 = 17
Nahia
--Nahia Round One--
Nahia takes another step forward, keeping Hound between herself and the soldiers. Her eyes taking an annoyed slant at the will of the guard, she continues to drone on "Even now we cleave through your ranks like a scythe through wheat! Stay still, lay down, and accept your fate, and be afforded some small comfort before oblivion!"
5' step and Slumber Hex on the guard near Rose against the wall. DC 15 will or sleep for 5 rounds.
Lady Rose
Staggering down the hall, Rose continued to play the role of a wounded lieutenant.
"Hold them, men! They killed Cap'n Sam! We have to hold the line!"
Move 20 feet down the hall.
DM Aku
Rose disengages from the battle and move further down in the corridor, while Hound bring down this hammer with unholy purpose on a wide eyed guard, crushing the poor man head, splashing blood and brains all over the place.
Seren orders her skeletons to chop down the nearest guards
Atk: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Dmg: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 6) + 6 = 18
Finishing the job Mysty started.
Nahia once again tries to put one more soldier to sleep.
Will: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15 and the guard, just barely stays awake.
DM Aku
The guards, panicking start to flee , one of them sounding his horn while he runs from their enemies giving Mysty and Hound ways to attack once more. Mysty, Hound you have an AoO, as does Rose, if she wants to attack.
”Fall back! Retreat! Run!” they yell.
