Wandering GM
Welcome to the big show everybody. A few notes:
1. Go ahead and finalize your aliases and let me know when I can check them.
2. We need to decide on a Story hook for everybody. The two that I'll make you choose from are a rescue mission and solving a mystery. I'd go into more detail but there are spoilers in the descriptions for them. We'll go by majority rule. I'll be the tiebreaker if needed.
3. A keen eye would notice I went with 6 players instead of 5 when the module is built for 4. Encounters will be boosted to compensate. You have been warned. That being said, character death happens but is not something I aim for.
4. I will need a little time to finish adjusting the module to the character hooks you guys provided. Between that and Thanksgiving in the US next week, we might have a bit of a slow start but should be cruising by week 2.
5. Maps will be run thru Google Slides. If you want another image besides the one in your alias for your token, please send me a link.
Post your vote on the story hook when you check in.
Savien Calla
Greetings everyone! I'll be the friendly pilot of the surly, sarcastic, Savien Calla.
Right now I have him set up as a reach Slayer, but I'm still more than willing to adjust his mechanics if there was a need.
I look forward to playing with you guys!
Edit: Definitely rescue mission for Savien. He's not too interested in mystery these days.
Vak'rogh the Lost
I am in favor of the "rescue mission" hook. Participating in that could help smooth over any doubts the townsfolk may have about Vak'rogh's presence, and may help him find a place to call "home" . . . for a time.
That may kinda fly in the face of his current alignment, but I think he's going to migrate toward CG as we go.
----------
I'm not at all opposed to the "murder mystery" angle, though, if that's of any help. Depending upon the tales he can glean of the deceased, he may find a stronger motivation to act.
Either way, I'm good to go!
----------
Side Note: I am only able to consistently participate on the boards via mobile device, and so I may frequently need to request a "token assist" when it comes to tactical movement. I am taking steps to remedy that, but being currently unemployed has pushed my priorities in other directions. I hope it is not an issue; if it is, I will do whatever I can to improve that difficulty.
Looking forward to it, gang! :)
EDIT: I am pretty sure that my alias is set to be checked. I will port Kazh's stats into Vak'rogh's profile presently.

I'm happy to assist when I am at home (every evening CST time zone). And occasionally at other times. I check these boards a lot(probably more often than I should lol), and I'm running a game of my own so I'll be active every day on my computer.
Vak'rogh the Lost
Too right. . . . . Maybe I've played in too many games where that was the intro hook. My apologies.
EDIT:
1) I appreciate that very much, Savien!
2) The mystery just might be better for Vak'rogh. It does little to change my answer, though. :)
EDIT II: Wandering, what conventions do you want to use for the use of the various languages? In another PbP I am in, we've used Google Translate to get the spoken text (Maori for Goblin, German for Infernal, etc.), and then spoilered the translation to English below the post text.
Vak'rogh the Lost
Our 'Community Reference Document' contains the specifics we established. I appreciate the fact that such a method accents the distinctions among the characters and NPCs in-game -- but, then, I'm a humanities student with a particular bent toward languages, anyway (I blame Tolkien, and my parents -- :D ). So far as "production value" goes, it's probably an 'acquired taste', but either way it goes, you still have to count on your players not to metagame it, since you'll have spoilered content either way.

Glad to see my last minute application made the cut (especially since her entire Background and start block was made in less than 2 hours)
My crunch is done and good, Although might be a little cluttered. Mostly I have it arranged in a way I'm familiar with.
I'll have a look at those hooks in a second so expect this post to be edited unless someone posted before it.
Edit: I like the idea for a mystery as well... Besides it would fit my Character better anyways ;P
This character Mechanically will rely on her Eidolon while she backs it up with occasional buffs and attacks of her own.
What I'm going for with the Eidolon is a crippler, using grapples and combat maneuvers to cripple enemies.
Savien Calla
Hey, Wandering GM. Do you think we should have trapfinding at level 1, or would it be safe to pick it up at level 2 with my Slayer Talent?
Edit: I tweaked Savien a bit in light of the fact that we have 6 other melee bodies (including companion/eidolon). He's a little lighter armored but he can serve as scout/trapfinder. He still carries around his old guard armor so if needed, he could throw it on with a shield to be more survivable. If trapfinding is imperative at level 1, it would be easy to switch him to a Trapper Ranger, though it flavors him a little more nature-y than I intended. Totally doable.
Julio
Julio wanders around town and hears rumors of a mystery that needs to be solved and that someone needs to be rescued. The two might be related.
Mysteries don't sound that profitable, but to rescue someone usually involves a reward.
About me: I am on at all times of the day. I am running one game and playing it two but they are all running slow. My work schedule has me opening some days and closing on others. I do check my phone 10 times a day to see what is happening on the boards. I live in Washington so I am on Pacific time.
Looking forward to working with all of you on this one.

Honestly my Eidolon early on is melee, but because he's an aberration I can take Evolutions to make him a semi-caster(with minor psychic magic) or a complete monster if I really wanted. Frankly he's kinda weak right now, with only 13 AC, I should probably give him some armor whenever he pops up... But then I'd have to spend his feats on that :/
Savien Calla
Alright. I feel better with Savien as a Slayer than as a Ranger so we'll just have to get creative if we find a magical trap at 1st level. I still have disable device, though not a very high modifier yet.
It'll serve the story somewhat if he springs a trap in his own face anyway.

This is Vak'rogh's player, btw.
I can see it now:
"So you led us here, but now you say you can't lead us out?"
"Well, . . . technically that's not entirely accurate . . . ."
"Not accurate??! You see the super-smashy crushy-blocks of doom, there, right? It's a good thing I advanced with my spear readied, or I would've been smashed to uselessness, instead! And let's not forget the 'passageway of rebounding blades' behind us! The one you triggered while most of us were were still walking through it! See how much shorter her hair is?? -- Sureliah barely made it through! So tell me again what's 'not entirely accurate' about it!"
"Well, . . . y'see . . . ."
"Yes?"
"I can get us out of here. In either direction. . . . . It's just that . . . How do I say this? . . . I need something sized just about like you to jam the mechanism here at whatever door we chose to use. . . . . And, obviously, you can't fit in there, so we'd have to . . . kinda . . . chop you into more manageable pieces to . . . . Ummmm, why's your dog trying to move behind me??"
Vak'rogh the Lost
. . . Am I gonna have to swap, just so we can have a dissenting opinion?? 'Cause I can "Tenth Man" with the best of 'em!!
Savien Calla
Failed my stealth dot and accidentally put my GM alias on the character page. Sorry!!
Will post in a few hours.
Edit: What are the names of the 2 kids? Savien should know, right?
Blitz Krieg
Rescue sounds like what everyone is up for so thats good
Savien Calla
I snuck a link in the first sentence in case anyone misses it.
I'll post again later tonight. I wanted to break up my post a little bit and also give the half-orcs a chance to get offended.
:P
Savien Calla
I'm just carrying a dagger. Savien doesn't come to the tavern in his hometown with much in the way of weapons or armor. Might be inconvenient if something unusual happens.
That said, I feel like people from out of town would just have all their stuff with them.
Sureliah Giladrian

Sureliah is armed only with her divine beauty and wit... And the inate ability to corrode things she touches as well as the ability to summon otherworldly beings.
Also she is constantly detecting magic.
Savien Calla
On a side note, I'm still relatively new to this format. I wasn't sure if I should've done my whole post as internal monologue with italics or was the way I did it ok?
I mainly wanted to convey that he's present but not paying attention as the others arrive, without putting up a boring two-line post.
Savien Calla
My post was a bit hasty this time but I didn't want to miss the fun! I had about 15 minutes to hammer it out. I won't be able to post for a few hours now.
Let's do this thing.
Savien Calla
I'm around! Just waiting for Hucrele to respond before I do anything else.
Might not be able to post until late today though.

You got your reply! :)
As for Vak's post on languages. I'm inclined to try it out. I think it gives me a little more work to do but it's not really a big deal. If there are any strong dissenting opinions, I'm willing to listen. If not, please follow the guidlines that I put together (based off Vak's recommendations) whenever posting in a specific language.
Wandering GM
One other thing, with the Thanksgiving holiday in the USA (speaking of which, any non-Americans here?) it may be slow posting over the next few days and then I am traveling for work next week. Except for tomorrow (Thursday) I will still be posting at my usual 1-2/day, the timing will just be a little different.
As for tomorrow - I will try to get 1 post out but no promises.
Wandering GM
House Rules are now posted including languages. I'll add stuff as we add stuff. Hopefully there won't be too many.
Syrus Terrigan
I used Belarusian for my first Orcish post. I will adjust to the other henceforth, if I can't edit that post.
We kinda ran it on a first-to-use, first-to-call-it basis. My cleric in that other game basically picked Celestial/Greek and Infernal/German because he's been the one to use them. I should have noted that more clearly; wouldn't have left my posterior flapping in the breeze, if I had.
