Well, at this point I was specifically referring to the wealth Horgus offered us, than changed his mind on regarding me.

I wondered if that would be split, too - as it was just coin and easy to split.

Worst case scenario is Ryu doesn't get as much money as the rest of the group. I'm hoping that's not the case, but we'll see what happens later, I guess.

Perhaps if Ryu makes apology or some kind of recompense to Gwerm, then maybe the nobleman will reconsider and put Ryu back on his payroll. (Oriana undertook such a thing earlier for the welfare of the group.) If diplomacy and charm isn't Ryu's way, maybe he can ask Garith to speak on his behalf? Just a suggestion. :)

I'd just toss all the cash into the pot in the loot list. If Ryu claims a magic item while Horgus gives us all coin, then we can spend the money as we see fit while Ryu can snag a couple costly items. So Ryu isn't given any cash, but his share still goes up like the rest of our shares do.

Gwyrm was going to give us a total amount of cash, divided among the party, and when he fired Ryu, we all got his share distributed.

or it's an RP penalty for telling off the guy paying him, and he's got a smaller share. (that'll not matter in a few levels anyway, cause it's only 250 or something.)

Variel - Zeriax was supposed to join us when we reached 2nd lvl. Does this mean we should be leveling up now, or should we wait a bit longer?

I was wondering when tht question was going to be asked. Once you get into Neathholm and finish with Millorn then you will level up.

If Oriana takes the magical morningstar and hands her ordinary morningstar to Maelchar as his backup weapon, will the group be okay with her claiming Sull's gift?

So, I think it's a good idea to have Maelchar use Millorn's crossbow and bolts (they are unclaimed as far as I can tell; if I am wrong, my apologies). His shortbow and arrows can be put into the hoard and used by someone else or sold/traded.

Regarding the magical morningstar, Oriana only has Detect Magic. I'm not sure if that is enough or it requires a Know. Arcana or Spellcraft check (Identify the properties of a magic item using detect magic) also?

Not that I have any say in it, but the loot distribution looks fine to me.

Is there any loot that can be cashed in? Perhaps some gear can be upgraded?

Zeriax - to answer your question about weapons; technically I'm one weapon style. I started the game with a scimitar because I thought it was a finesse weapon (it was not), but I luckily found a rapier which was.

However, as you may have noticed via in-game dynamic; my most potent weapons are my brain, and my tact ;)

Europe it is Maelchar, in Portugal, almost exactly across the world from Oriana ;)

Probably 5 or 6 hours ahead of the man with the brain and tact :D

Not yet, but Pakak can roll again tomorrow (in game) which will be after he's leveled. Also anyone that takes a rank in spellcraft too

Yes, Oriana claimed the morningstar in game. But we haven't figured out its magical properties because Pakak did not make the spellcraft roll -- and so we can make a new check in the morning.

And we're waiting on Variel to advise us when we can level up. He had said earlier that once we were done interrogating Millorn we could level.

Well, regarding the morningstar - if it's a +10 weapon with a bane against "Everything" - the thing is; Ry claimed the weapon, so it's up to her if she wants it, at least, as far as Ryu is concerned.

I mean, I'm just saying - if Ry doesn't want it, that's one thing. But you called dibs on it; that's good enough for Ryu.

I'm not disputing Oriana's claim to Chief Sull's morningstar gift. We just haven't determined the magical qualities/properties of it as yet. Once we have, I will know how to note it on my sheet.

When it comes to loot; Ryu's generally happy to make sure whoever wants it, gets it.

If he loses on a cut of loot from time to time, he's not too worried.

He wants to kill for the party; he won't need much to do that.

Also, if you're right about leveling, I'll roll, too.

FYI, your official level up will be in the morning after you sleep as there is one last thing to happen first.

As for hp I know most of you have rolled but I go with half hd +1 as base hp. Thus a cleric with 12 con would get 4+1+1.

Okay, so it seems Oriana has three current pet names in game: Mael calls her "Ori", Garith calls her "Ria" and Ryu has started calling her "Ry". Interesting. lol
