I guess someone could do that, yes. We should send Professor Rokannon.
Bluffing and keeping a poker face: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
The redhead barely manages to keep a straight face, somehow.

miss Kendra Lorrimor |

Brows lowering as she casts a disparaging glance Vivian's way in response to her 'humor', Kendra adds her own thoughts. "Gibbs Hephenus shouldn't be such a fool as to leave bloody evidence of his own misdeeds where it leads directly to him." Visibly re-directing her attentions back to her original intent. "It's probably too late to talk to the caretaker today, but I can take you to her first thing in the morning tomorrow if you wish to properly attend to that," pointing to the bag with the pet crow's remains.
"If you do intend to watch Gibbs' house, you'll probably have to do so over several nights. Nothing happened at the monument last night you know. Of course, that could have been as a result of...
what else happened last night."

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 42 ⇒ (3) + 42 = 45
Despite Vivian's straight face, Zander raises an eyebrow at the idea of sending the Prof. "I did not know he had just leanred a spell to make him invisible or fly."

![]() |

Well, would we rather return this to its original location, or see the remains properly buried? asks Zander, feeling that with two Pharasmans, the choice isn’t really a choice. ”And do we spend many nights scouting out for a possible repeat performance, or visit the prison proper, and perhaps discover the reason these people have begun darker antics?

Davor Wolfriel |

"I meant return the war razor and bloody waterskin from Gibs' yard. If he notices it's gone, he'll just claim it as evidence we were responsible for the blood at the statue." Davor says. "The raven's going to be buried, obviously. Why would we put it back in the fountain after going to all that trouble to get it out?"

Tamarie Lialda |

"I have no idea what would be a good idea. I was with Zander that we should take it, but Davor has a good point.
At least we all know he did it, that's something right?" Tamarie says as she shruggs her shoulders.
My head wasn't made for this type of circle-thinking.

Vivian Deberth |

Yeah, I think i should try to put Gib's stuff back at his house, the sooner the better. Tam", I'll need your help, as you know precisely where you found it. And you're probably quite discreet too. Do you agree to a late night walkabout with me, my girl?

miss Kendra Lorrimor |

Nodding in acknowledgement (if not necessarily total agreement) of the decision made, Kendra adds. "What else did you intend with the afternoon? Was there anything I might help with?"
I apologize for a lack of posts. If no one has more they want to do 'today', I will post again tonight moving matters on to at least this evening when Vivian & Tamarie can 'make their move'...

miss Kendra Lorrimor |

Nodding in acknowledgement of your request, Kendra leads you out the door & across the road, to the North at the second house you see Lireia outside, helping her mother in some domestic efforts.
"Lireia, Mistress Dugas; I'm sure you recall my guests from yesterday & previous. They had some news regarding Eronel."
At mention of the bird, Lireia's face becomes both hopeful & wary while her mother's shows little expression save a stoic observation.

Vivian Deberth |

As no one utters anything, and the situation becomes more awkward by the second, Vivian sighs.
*Once again, I'm the one who have to break the bad news... WHY? And to a young girl too... There is no good age to learn about the death of someone you loved, cared for and cherished, be it a pet or anyone*
Vivian kneels to bring her face at the same level than the girl's
I am sorry, Lireia. I have sad news to tell you. We found Eronel, but he was no longer alive. There was nothing we could do do save him, unfortunatly, it was way too late. We were planning to bury him in the pet cemetary tomorrow, but he was your pet, your friend, so you have the final word on it. Even now, Eronel needs all the love you can give him for his final travel.
take 10 on Diplomacy roll to break the news as gently as possible, make it 15

DMBleedsGreen |

Though Lireia's eyes grow liquid at Vivian's words, no tears fall.
"Thank you for that." Her mother replies as Lireia obviously searches for words. "We will be there in the morn." Though neither her words nor her tone are unfriendly, her demeanor makes it plain that Mistress Dugas considers this visit over.
Nodding in acknowledgement, Kendra leads the rest of you back to the house.
The remainder of the afternoon & evening continues with little in the way of note.
If anyone has something they wish to do during the night, please let me know, otherwise I will move us along to the next more ning with my next post.
So still nothing is really resolved, but right now, playing online here is pretty much the only thing I have keeping me from yelling & tearing my hair out. If you guys can put up with me, I'm gonna be here.

Vivian Deberth |

If time allow in the afternoon, Vivian will do two things: first to find a decent clothes shop to buy something for Kendra, as planned- a scarf, maybe, or a beautiful dress. Both in fact.^^ Spending up to 5 GP in total if something good looking can be found at this price, willing to spend a little more (up to 8GP)if needed. The second thing would be to scout out the way from Kendra's house to Gib's shack, trying to spot an easy and quick way to come and go when the night will be settled.

When the girls are out shopping, Zander will travel through the town offering his services as a cleric to the locals and trying to improve the morale of the town and the groups reputation within it.
Diplomacy?: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21

Davor Wolfriel |

Davor will return to the Lorrimor house for the afternoon and review the information the group has uncovered to this point and inspect his possessions for any damage.

Vivian Deberth |

Sorry, but i was planning, with Tamarie, to go back to Gibs Hephenus house during the night and to put back the war razor they found there.(if my memory serves well!)

Prof. Faradir Rokannon |

Professor Rokannon comes to the breakfast table a little pale.
When pressed, he shakes his head and massasges his temples.
"Sorry, sorry, had a... very vivid nightmare. Could I get some coffee? I don't feel like sleeping for the next few weeks. Years."

Ellix |
Haha I'm kinda waiting for the group to decide what to do with the day there isn't any direction really to be given to them today. I could move the story forwards but since not even everyone checked in yet after I reopened the campaign I was hesitant to do so.

Prof. Faradir Rokannon |

His voice haunted, he spoke of his vivid dream.
"Like I was trapped in a coffin, then dropped into a grave with a number of dark figures looming over me, speaking... words and phrases I could not make a connection with..."
He shudders for a moment then waves his hand. He takes out his pipe and lights it, puffing on it as he thinks.
"As curious as I am to find out what this Gibs is up to, I cannot think but that was, all of these mysterious happenings in Ravengro are some kind of distraction, taking our attention away from something else."
He leans back in his chair, staring at the ceiling.
"What if these 'hauntings', these fits of madness, are symptoms of something greater? The disfiguring of the Harrowstone fire memorial, the 'accidental' death of Professor Lorrimor on his last visit..."
He leaned forward again, looking at his companions seriously.
"I think it is Harrowstone that ties all these things together somehow. That is what we must look into next."
He waves his hand; the smoke he exhales roils and forms the image of the Harrowstone ruins as seen from the tallest point in Ravengro.
His eyes fix on the image.
"We have the cache Professor Lorrimor left us. I think we pay a little visit to the old prison now."

Davor Wolfriel |

"It can't be a coincidence that we all had the same dream, can it?"
"Maybe we should tell the sheriff or Father Grimburrow we're planning to investigate the prison today before we leave, and suggest the sheriff poke around at Gibs' house for some evidence from bloody V at the statue.

Prof. Faradir Rokannon |

Professor Rokannon is astounded.
"You had the same dream as I?"
He looks around at the rest.
"Did you all as well? The same dream? The... trapped in a coffin, dropped in a grave, dark figures looming, random insane mutterings one?"

Ellix |
You hear the door to the house, and in walks Kendra to the dining room after a brief moment.
Her face is slightly pale and her eyes blood shot,
"Oh good you're all up, had a bit of a lie in? Listen - you all didn't -" but she stops, I can see that you did.
"You're not alone, the whole town was in a panic this morning down at the square. This combined with everything else going on, they're calling something of an emergency town meeting this evening. I've been asked by the mayor to invite you to attend on his behalf."

Vivian Deberth |

You know, Tam", it's only the morning. The meeting is this evening. Even if you walk very slowly, you'll be there in time.
Vivian winks, but she's not her usual self
Should we try to find the false crypt first?

Ellix |
Kendra responds to the professor,
"I can't confess to know; but you should have seen the fear on everyone's faces this morning. I think the town is about at its breaking point."
"Still, the day is young - and I'd like the forget about it for the moment. I'll go and cook up something for you all, any requests?"
-Posted with Wayfinder

Davor Wolfriel |

"I'm not too particular about my breakfast. Whatever's easiest, thanks."
"We might want to try to find out what all the fuss is about here in town before we go wandering off to Harrowstone," Davor suggests. "I suppose they'll probably blame us for whatever it is. Maybe the sheriff will be able to give us some information before this town meeting."
