Sorry Valex, would have required a roll to recall anti-zombie lord tactics, so no bonus this time :s
Polo think you missed the stunning fist's effect, please make a Fort save DC 15 or be fatigued until you next rest...
Euron's polearm flashes through the air, but Tsuto ducks away in a smooth movement, dancing across the roof and putting him in front of Polo, before he lunges with two swift blows that shove the gnome backwards over the edge of the roof...
Bull rush pushing back 5 ft, Polo make a Reflex save DC 14 to grab the edge of the roof or else fall 20 feet, take the appropriate damage and be prone in the zombie-covered courtyard below...
Tsuto laughs maniacally, twisting and turning, lashing out to connect a kick to Azmerai's head doing 10 bludgeoning damage

Quite right, Fiendish I had missed that. Looking at Tsutos actions he took actions against me and Azmerai, I assume as a full attack. Did he manage to beat my ac of 25? If so, then :(
Reflex: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Fail. But I will wait for you to confirm he hit my AC

Is there a map? Is the roof difficult terrain? And where Lilith is what can she see? Oh, and not would be a good time to find out that Lilith's ring lets her Cast Feather Fall at will. :)

GM Fiendish |

Polo, was vs your CMD not AC, so yup Tsuto bullrushed you and due to your failed reflex save, you fall 20 ft and take 7 bludgeoning, and are now prone. You are in the midst of several zombies, but due to Lilith's still-in-effect spell, they are not making much progress moving towards you. Yet...
Roof is gently sloped and made primarily out of timber and tar, not dangerous terrain, but fire might be inadvisable as would likely catch swiftly. Lenneth is just inside the window following her casting of web.
Lilith, nice try with the ring but it's the standard 'wearer benefits from constant feather fall effect' version, so no use to Polo sat on your finger ;)
Players all still up!

Lilith clambers out onto the room, but only as far as she need to be to see the zombie lord. She gestures arcanely and enchants words of power creating flames that arc across the space between her and her enemy.
Scorching Ray: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 194d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 1, 2) = 13
After her attack she dimensionally shifts back inside the house.

Valex |

Valex maneuvers onto the roof, then casts Disrupt Undead, flinging a tiny orb of golden light at Tsuto.
ranged touch: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
1d6 ⇒ 6

"POLO!" Lenneth cries in alarm as the gnome goes tumbling off the roof. "You b******!" she snarls in rage. Fixing her gaze on Azmerai, she calls upon the powers that be to grant the half-orc a small dose of luck. "Show him what we're made of, Azmerai!"
Fortune hex on Azmerai; on your next round you can reroll any ability check, attack roll, saving throw, or skill check, and take the better result.

Euron Velren |

It would seem my post didn't go through so..
Euron grunts as he see's Polo fall from the roof, but knows he needs to focus and kill them monster.
Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
damage: 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (5, 5) + 9 = 19
Although its altogether useless!

Azmerai |

Attacking with vigor Azmerai tries to at least hurt that.. thing.
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 141d8 + 14 ⇒ (5) + 14 = 19

Confluck Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 101d8 + 14 ⇒ (6) + 14 = 20

GM Fiendish |

Snarling as he watches Polonius simply scamper back up the farmhouse wall like a monkey, Tsuto reels under the sudden concerted assault. Lilith's ray of fire scorches across his back as he dodges away from Euron, where Valex's golden orb slams in to his side, wreathing him in bright sparks of energy that blind him to Azmerai's blow until it is too late.
Gone is his laugh, in its place an eerie silence as you see how severely damaged he seems to be. There is a moment of calm, he freezes completely in place as you whirl around him, and in the blink of an eye the stillness is gone. He is suffused with a black, pulsing, viscous aura that seems to ooze from his wounds.
Turning to face the half-orc he snarls
...MY turn...
Lashing out with three blows in quick succession, his fist strikes Azmerai's temple in a hammerblow before a raised knee turns in to a side kick smashing in to the half-orc's stomach, before finally he drops down with an elbow to the back of the now hunched over barbarian's head.
Azmerai, 8, 6 then 11 damage for a total of 25

Too sensible to be ashamed of her tactic, Lilith does it again. This time she gains the room with her move, fires Magic Missiles, and then dimensionally steps again back inside.
Magic Missiles: 3d4 + 3 ⇒ (4, 3, 2) + 3 = 12

Valex |

Valex moves along the roof, charging his sword with arcane energy. He considers moving to flank the abomination, but, remembering Polo's drop, decides not to work from the edge of the roof.
Move, swift action to activate Arcane Strike, swing

Euron Velren |

With Tsuto dodgy and weaving his attacks Euron can't do anything else but keep up the attack as he again stabs at him.
Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Damage: 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (6, 2) + 9 = 17
"AHHH!" He shouts out in frustration, his shouts sounding almost devilish as the frustration begins to show.
The dice really hate me

GM Fiendish |

Valex...I literally winced then when I saw your roll :s
Lilith's missles flash across the rooftop, unerringly darting through the air to slam in to Tsuto's side. He grunts as he absorbs the impact.
Tali appears from the other side of the roof where she appears to have climbed up from, before rushing down the slope of the roof and slashing at Tsuto with a pair of vicious looking serrated knives. One catches him off guard, ripping a chunk of robe and flesh from his back, however he darts away from the second strike.
Surrounded on all sides and badly injured, his anger appears to be getting the better of him as he continues to fight instead of retreating. Charging straight at Azmerai, he leaps upwards and delivers a strong kick to the half-orc's chest, as he lands he pivots and his other leg whips around catching the barbarian on the side of the head. 8 then 7 damage (before DR) He then lashes out backwards at Tali, catching her in the face with a clenched fist that sends her reeling.
He stands then, expectant...

He watches with grim satisfaction as the bomb explodes directly on Tsutos chest, creating a conflagration of flame and a noise like a thiundercrack.
Boom!!
Excluding Valex, Azmerai and Tali. Euron is using a reach weapon so will be out of splash range

Euron Velren |

Stepping up to flank
Euron steps forward to get a better advantage on his attack hoping to out flank Tsuto, and drop this creature for once.
Attack: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 7 + 2 = 11

He again shouts out in frustration, as the monk dodges his attacks and continues to attack his friends.
This game has cursed me! maybe i'm just pretending to miss...

GM Fiendish |

As Polonius' bomb unerringly zeroes in on Tsuto, looking to land directly on target, at the last moment his hand lashes out, batting the vial away and up in to the sky, where it explodes and fire rains down around the undead menace leaving him unharmed by the blast, the bomb splash still thankfully also missing Polonius' companions as he had intended.
I am so sorry Polo, even with Tsuto's deflect arrows feat previously demonstrated I feel awful for robbing you of a double 20 roll :(

UsiAzmerai strikes again. But not good enough to land a critical hit,but still doing massiv damage. Yelling in triumph seeing his blade biting deeply in undead flesh.

I'd love to Polo, but it's a once per 24 hours thing and I already used it on Euron during the bear fight :(
Taking the chance that her friends will be able to put Tsuto down for good before he might turn his sights on her, Lenneth climbs through the window and onto the roof. She moves to the wounded half-orc and places a hand on his shoulder.

GM Fiendish |

Truly expecting the half-orc to have dropped by now from his savage assault, Tsuto is unprepared for the barbarian's return strike, the sword blade chopping deeply in to his shoulder and nearly severing the arm.
Valex steps in and strikes a blow that catches the undead monk across his head, knocking his mask away to reveal blackened and rotted flesh curled up in a rictus of pain and surprise.
His glowing blue eyes focus on Lilith as she steps in to view again, watching as the twin bolts of force burst from her outstretched hand towards him. He raises his remaining good arm towards the elven wizard, reaching out one last time as his existence teeters on the edge.
I just wanted...
his last words are eclipsed as the arcane missles hammer in to his chest and face, spinning him around and dropping him to the rooftop. His last view is of Lilith fading away as she ports back inside the building. The glowing blue light in his eyes fades away to nothing, and the undead stalker that has followed you across the land for weeks becomes nothing more than a pile of rags and dead flesh.
It starts to rain, cold and wretched, as the moans of the zombies surrounding the farmhouse bring you back to the present.

Valex |

Valex looks down at the thing that was once Tsuto, his face spasming through disgust, vicious satisfaction, and mournful hopelessness, finally settling into a tight, grim mask.
"This isn't the last of these we'll face. The workings of the Whispering Way...the Harvest...There will be others like him,[b]" he grates, then shakes himself and looks around.
"[b]Who is hurt? I can provide some healing..."
Have the groaners made their way into the house yet?

When Tsuto drops to the room Lilith chooses not to retreat again, and instead casts Detect Magic to quickly scan Tsuto's possessions. He was a dangerous foe. Someone make sure he remained dead. For all we know he regenerates. As she studies the creature and its possessions she adds Lenneht's web will block the stairs for near 40 minutes, though some of the stronger walkers might push their way through one or two at a time. Let us take care not to burn those strands and we can snipe at the undead from the rooftop while we formulate a plan.
After her Detect Magic is complete Lilith will move to the edge of the room and begin to use Disrupt undead to kill the zombies, targeting those injured with the stone rain first.
In the 39 minutes the web will last Lilith can fire 390 Disrupt Undead cantrips from the safety of the roof. Targeting a touch AC of 10 she will hit about 75% of the time. Average damage is 3.5 points but some will be wasted going past what is needed to kill - Conservatively She will do well over 800 points of damage in that time. How many zombies are there?

Azmerai |

Seeing the undead fall Azmerai shakingly comes out of his rage. Retching and spitting a dark glob of spittle at the slain foe he adresses the others. "Am hurt, but mainly bruises, ARg,no that rib broken is, maybe two. As long as roof we safe, and now groaners stupid. Good idea with spells but not for long!"

Euron Velren |

Seeing Tsuto finally stop, Euron starts to take deep breaths to charm himself down. "We spent too much time talking to that thing i'm glad its finally dead. We should stand and clear the undead it will take time but its better than having this swarm loose."
As the rain begins to hammer them and the roof Euron looks down at the undead, then back at Valex. "You're right... we haven't even meant a true member of the way yet. They come with a true blackness of the heart." He then looks back into the house. "I didn't get hurt. I had trouble even hitting him, but that is done we clear the undead. I recommend we stay here tonight also we have a lot to talk about but now i'll go hold the stairs."

Lenneth Barlow |
Lenneth tremblingly backs away from the fallen Tsuto and simply sits down on the rooftop, gazing at the throngs of groaners roaming down below. Despite the revulsion she felt for the husk of a man and the relief that he would trouble them no longer, she couldn't help but feel oddly saddened by his last words...
What did you want? To live again? That wasn't in our power to give...
She also can't help but ponder the meaning of the words whispered to her by the ones that always watch.
Things we thought lost...not Meiko, not Kaiya...then what?

GM Fiendish |

Valex, Lilith's spell has worn off so all zombies in the surrounding area appear to have entered the downstairs of the farmhouse, where they are either stuck in the web or else jostling each other to try and get through. Either way you can't see from where you are and would have to drop down to get a better idea of things.
Lilith, as per the above, you'd have to get to ground level to see the zombies and target them with a spell directly. Lenneth's web provides total cover for any zombies on the ground floor as you can't see down the stairs to any
Lilith's senses feel a moderate pulse of transmutation energy from Tsuto's porcelain mask, but the only other item Polonius finds on him is a small leather satchel. It contains a couple of pinecones, some herbs, some edible tree roots and a small, crudely woven doll made of long and twisted dried grass. It smells faintly of lavender.
Lenneth's spell is keeping the zombies from advancing any further, but it also prevents you from assaulting them unless you're willing to get on their level to do so
Could everyone please make a perception check on their next post, and also give me a status post with their current hp, spells left etc. Thanks!

Still on the roof, a slight breeze ruffles Polo's long, unkempt hair. For the first time in.... he can't even remember, he smells death on the breeze.
In the early days the smell was everywhere, overpowering, all-encompassing. Even in the wilderness he would catch that sweet, acrid stench of decomposition. In truth his keen sense of smell had probably saved him more than once because when he caught that scent, he knew to run the other way.
He supposed the smell was always there but that, like so many other terrible things in this world now, he had simply become used to it. It was just another one of those things.
Like preparing explosive mixtures.
Or repairing torn clothes.
Or losing friends and loved ones.
He watches as the others gather themselves and he moves back among them, readying himself to fight their way out.

Lenneth Barlow |
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Suddenly feeling nauseous, Lenneth fights to keep the contents of her stomach from escaping onto the roof. "Indigo...it's okay for the moment. The roof is safer than inside."
And you could climb down from here and flee into the darkness if it came to that...
Looking at the items in the satchel once more, Lenneth raises puzzled eyes to the rest of the group. "Food...and a doll?" she whispers. "Why would he need either? Was he lying about Kaiya...or is it something else?" Looking towards the barn where the groaners had initially been lying in wait, she wonders what might be inside...or inside any of the other buildings, for that matter.
