I am confused...where are we going? Why back to that cesspool?
Did I get that wrong? I thought that is where we were headed.

You may very well be right, I am just forgetting. I need someone who recalls to clarify our plan.
Male Gnome Marshal/Champion 2-Cavalier (Emissary) 4/Bloodrager 2/Paladin 2
That was the plan -- the Lady suggested that we'd likely find clues as to the cause of all this there -- an we thought that made sense.

Harlynn will look at the bears and infrom them that she wants them to help her and her companions uncover the mystery here and allow safe travel for as long as it takes in exchange for not destroying them.

"Why we going Gillamour, Taedric? You said but I forget things." Abbas frowns at the view on the horizon as they approach.

"Ten thousand walking corpses don't just pop out of nowhere Abbas. We's going to go there, find out why, and work over whoever's responsible."

Sounds about right, Eli, but we really need to work through a way to do so without fighting through the whole damn horde.

"Ten thousand, a hundred thousand, we don't have enough fingers between us to count them. Just keep on hacking till the last one falls."
K'uhulajaw, Init +5, AC20/13/17, Hits 24/24, Perception -1
"I got ten. You get hundred and Taedric gets thousand. That good?"
Male Gnome Marshal/Champion 2-Cavalier (Emissary) 4/Bloodrager 2/Paladin 2
Taedric nods, "It's a good thing I have Trumps, then."

Aidan smiles despite himself, but it quickly passes.
I would prefer not to fight thousands, if it can be avoided- even with Trump's help, he points out.
Doth any have an inkling as to how such a task as ours might be accomplished without drawing the ire of every dead this side of the boneyard?
He chuckles softly.
Perhaps we could ask the dragon, he says sardonicly.
The GM is okay with whatever plan you come up with. Just let me know what you want to do. You are a ta distance now that you have tons of options still.
F Human Fighter 2/Bard 2 (HP32/32 AC 27 Ft+4 Rf+4 Wl+3 Pcp +7)
We did have a couple leads inside the city which the fast undead rather prevented us following up didn't we? Not that I can remember what they were. Was there some guy? (There's always some guy).

I think it would be helpful to post a summary of the leads we acquired in the city of the dead... Sigil, could you oblige?

Abbas calls for Taedric to hurry up and finish with the man. "Ask him things," he adds helpfully hoping someone will explain about a repeat trip to Gillamour.

Narnel approaches Taedric. He leans in close to the Gnome, and whispers,
We need to think about moving on soon, friend. Can you draw our visit to a conclusion?
Narnel you spoke up so logistically I am having you enter the hut with Taedric... I had been doing this by email but for the sake of time, I am posting it here and assuming that Taedric, Seneca and Narnel will share thier knowledge.
Narnel moves to the hut to see if he can speed things along. As he enters Seneca stalks out. Madness he mutters, This man stirs the dust of his aged mind, while the dead walk. Apocalyptic poet. Fool. Thus saying Seneca comes out and regards the bears crossly.
Male Gnome Marshal/Champion 2-Cavalier (Emissary) 4/Bloodrager 2/Paladin 2
Taedric says, "The man speaks of magics that are beyond my understanding, and it would seem that Seneca's decided that he's insane... Still, despite his mercurial nature, there is definitely something to learn from him... but I fear that I just don't know enough about magic to tease it out of him. I will say, however, that what happened to the herbalist and the stones around her home is apparently of import."

Harlynne and Elinor (esp Harlynne) are probably the ones who can udnerstand what he's going on about. Though I think we're reluctant to enter the stone circle with the demonic dire bears there.
The man, hearing Taedric rises and yells again, Her name was Minerva! She was a person not a job. Where is the other one going? looking at Narnel he yells, And who are you? I am old, leave me be!
So quickly stated Elinor, you represent the part of the party that has a rational fear of death?

I am a freind of those who have visited you to warn you of the danger. My name is Narnel, and I am at your disposal, good sir.
Alright, but first have something to eat. Levi says. It is hard to talk on an empty stomach. He moves off and begins to fuss with food, muttering to himself while he does it.

Aidan taps his foot fitfully outside the hut, casting nervous glances in its direction.
He eyes the bears suspiciously, and Tkurzhan swishes his tail with palpable agitation.
Male Gnome Marshal/Champion 2-Cavalier (Emissary) 4/Bloodrager 2/Paladin 2
Taedric bows, "Aye, Levi, she was. I meant no disrespect, it is merely that my allies did not know her by name."
The bear says
Looking back at the gnome Levi's eyes fill with tears again, She is dead, my sister is really dead. Only 2 of us are left who knew her. And one of those left her to die, so it up to me alone.
Narnel sees no sign that the food is unsafe, but it would be hard to miss that it is significantly better looking than one might expect. Dried fruits, cheese and pastry to go with the tea served earlier.
Is there anything special you would like to eat, Taedric? Levi asks.

Thank you, sir, but I have no hunger at the moment. And, my friends and I really need to be getting on about our business. The danger is still out there, and we may be able to help in stopping it.
Male Gnome Marshal/Champion 2-Cavalier (Emissary) 4/Bloodrager 2/Paladin 2
Taedric says, "I wouldn't impose, Levi. I'm certain whatever you were planning to have would be fine... In fact, I'd be more than happy to help you with the preparation, and maybe you could tell me the tale of your stones."
K'uhulajaw, Init +5, AC20/13/17, Hits 24/24, Perception -1
Abbas gets an old apple out and leans forward to feed his black charger.
Yes, yes Levi says and now he is nearly jovial. The simple food stuffs are quickly prepared, and while that happens. He says, It is dangerous, you know. I mean just knowing is dangerous. And I do not really know. But I know enough... And so did Minnie. And the b1tch. Well so did my brother. I should really get a new blanket, mine is a little worn. But she killed him too. And he knew best, but I don't know what he knew. I just know that the stones have to stand. And I know that they probably won't. And I don't know what that means exactly, but for sure you will die, and probably you will hurt a lot before you do. Could you get me some things from town next time you are there?
The amount of food seems to almost magically increase. As we works, new things keep showing up, and he is very skilled at food preparation.
Male Gnome Marshal/Champion 2-Cavalier (Emissary) 4/Bloodrager 2/Paladin 2
Taedric nods and keeps helping as best as he can, interjecting with small questions as he does, "Is it the walking dead that will kill me? Or something else? And who benefits from the other stones being moved?"

With the bears consenting to terms, Harlynn will run to grab Elinor and the rest of the group. Informing them that she has struck a deal with the bears but will not going into the specifics...yet, by quite simply saying, We can enter the stone circle now.

"Not good for no one to watch backs. I stay here. Not much for long speeches and chats is me. Right?"
F Human Fighter 2/Bard 2 (HP32/32 AC 27 Ft+4 Rf+4 Wl+3 Pcp +7)
Elinor's curiosity gets the better of her good sense (as usual) and she lets the cute wizard drag her into the dark and dangerous shack.

Hey, Eli. Hey, Harlynn. I was just explaining how we needed to be moving on when Taedric decided it best to help prepare some food.
Male Gnome Marshal/Champion 2-Cavalier (Emissary) 4/Bloodrager 2/Paladin 2
Taedric turns and says, in Sylvan, "If you think the attacks on the stones and the magic within them to be purely conincidental and of no consequence to what's happening and would rather rush headlong into something you don't understand, then by all means, take your leave. Trumps and I will catch up."

In Sylvan, Narnel replies,
If you think to get anything beyond further confusion from this man, then have at it. I will wait patiently.

Aidan crosses his arms and stares at the bears as his companions slowly trickle into the hut.
He looks at Abbas forlornly.
Madness grips this place, he states simply, and I fear it has taken hold of our senses.
Tkurzhan yawns and lays down lazily, sharing none of his brother's concern.
