Cassandra was caught off guard by what had happened and was more than a little outraged at Innis' behavior. Was she right? Probably but that didn't excuse the way she acted by so callously trampling across an ally's given word. She'd been noticing the woman's increasingly erratic behavior for some time now and resolved to part ways with her when this task was accomplished as it wasn't in her to abandon even so fickle an ally in the midst of danger such as this.

"The Burning Tower at last..." Innis admires the ominous dancing flames that wreath the tower.

"Let's be done with this." she adds grimly. She motions for Cassandra to continue at point and the team to follow. She prepares her protective spells as the team makes to enter the tower.

Innis calls upon Calistria's blessing to Aid Merelda emboldening her lifeforce with positive energy.
Aid: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Dark energies continue to sustain Innis.
False Life: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Nearing the tower you see that not only is the tower aflame but the flames seem to extend from the tower about 30 feet.

As Merelda contemplates how to get to the tower she notices something in the corner of her eye. Through the fanning flames she spies what looks like an opening.

Moving closer she directs everyone to her finding. There you can all see a small passage that winds into the whirling flames.

Innis looks back at Kirzon old and blind, practically an invalid "You druids can shapeshift into anything but growing an extra set of eyes is too much to ask of you?" she complains as if his state personally inconveniences the Changeling.

She cocks her head an furrows her brow putting the pieces of this particular puzzle together. She calls a momentary halt as she riffles through Amigail's pack and produces a potion.

"Drink this..." she says placing a vial into his hands.

is it poison?:
No. Countless eyes grow all over Kirzon's body. Including the back of his head. It is a freakish sight and Innis struggles to keep her stomach down. Kirzon is granted all-around sight. The first thing Kirzon sees is Innis' horrified and disgusted face

"Ah c'n turn inta a bat if ah wanted ta see, but the ah couldn't use me magics. But ah c'n 'andle meself just fine with Boros 'ere."

Kirzin feels the priestess place a vial into her hands. "What'cha 'avin me drink. Ah'm na thirsty!" he insists. He pops open the vial and sniffs it. It smelled a bit like a healing brew. He decides it couldn't be that bad if he downs it.

As he does so, the magic takes effect. Countless eyes grow all over Kirzon's body. Including the back of his head. It is a freakish sight and Innis struggles to keep her stomach down. Kirzon is granted all-around sight. The first thing Kirzon sees is Innis' horrified and disgusted face.

The next thing he sees is his own body, covered in eyes. Eyes looking at other eyes. Kirzon has become an alien monstrosity. "Mad woman! What've ya done ta me? Ya grew fifty sets o' eyes on me!"
